Doa is very rude. I agree with people who gave her a bad review, she doesn’t deserve manager position. I remember I had to go in cause a cheque I deposited was accidentally deposited in my daughters account which is connected to mine. She made me waste my time going in when she could have just explained whatever she said in person, over the phone.
Amateurish and incredibly incompetent staff who give you different information about your account depending on who or when you call. I won't ever get or use any products from this bank again.
Well, i went there twice for applying a new credit card.when i walk into the branch they dont have anyone could help with that right away. So with the staff's help they scheduled two appointments for each walk in. Every one is so friendly when they talk to you and ask the information.but somehow there was no follow ups.sadly i still not getting any credit card yet.just opened a account.i am self-employed.so for no longer waiting.i just applied an RBC credit card instead.faster
I'd give a zero stars I'f I could. Long story short changed my name so I went in there to let them photocopy my new info. Asked for new cards and my profile to be changed they said fine. Photocopied my Inormation. Called aftet two weeks of nothing and asked what was up, Apparently they gentlemen who on computer forgot to press send it something they say lol. Waited no cards showed up. Called scotia in Ottawa and they said would rush the cards to the bank, I went to he bank and no cards, was given a piece of paper with my name OLD NAME on it. Really? No debit/credit cards, nothing. Call again and they say my cards have been mailed out, okay when? Its been 11 days now and nothing. I can get cars shipped from Germany faster then it takes these people to get me two cards. And I have a mortgage, L. O. C credit cards, profile with them for over 25 years. Its ran like a play school on ellerslie.
Excellent manager. Knowledgeable, efficient, helpful. Knew about investment certificates that no other managers at other banks knew about.would return.
I've been a customer at this location for a decade and, especially over the past few months, the staff have been even friendlier and more helpful than usual.
The handicapped access doors work, the entryway is large, waiting is usually kept to a minimum, and you can be served while seated if you wish (but insist on it if you need to sit and a new teller doesn't realize it's important for you to sit while waiting).
Service is offered in several languages, such as Mandarin and French as well as English. Free coffee is available, a free Metro newspaper to read, chairs by the window to sit. The place has a friendly feel.
There's limited handicapped parking, but a lot of parking available over all.
