ATM’s are horrible, maybe it’s due to my account being Tangerine. However I have contacted both banks and they repeatedly tell me to try again. When depositing cash I enter my pin successfully, however at the end it says “incorrect pin” even though it’s not. How is it incorrect pin if I am able to log into my account? Complete joke

Disgusting opportunists. Worst service ever, they can't even follow their own policies. Run far, run fast.

Prime rate is increasing, so the multi billion dollar bank decided to hike interest rates ON TOP of prime. NO reason, NO explanation, a policy updated August 2023 stating they can change the interest rate just by posting a notice. Kick a dog when they're down.

Despite repeated attempts over the phone and in person spanning 30+ days and ongoing. 18.5 people spoken to so far (the 0.5 person comes from a CC'd email address that I have not been introduced to nor spoken directly) NO RESOLUTION. All I wanted to know was: Why did my interest increase? What can I do about it?

Turns out, my ONLY option, CLOSE THE ACCOUNT.

Hopefully, this review will save another victim from these leeches.

Came to this Scotiabank three months ago and had incredible help from Josh & Matthew! Super kind, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They ensured I was getting the best help with my banking, and were very hospitable. Still thinking about it 3 months later! When I’m back in edmonton I’ll do the extra drive to return to this branch.

No way to call branch directly. Forced to call their contact center which has never been shorter than a 40 minute wait. No callback function so you must sit on hold. Call center twice gave instructions about getting documentation from local branch which was incorrect, wasting hours of my time. After finding the extension for the Branch Manager at this location, left message which was not returned until I complained to their head office. All of this because Scotiabank made a mistake when paying property taxes on my behalf and I know this has impacted many others as well.

Good bank. Much better than my last. Great staff and the banking app is easy to navigate. I do not however appreciate them changing the app logo to the rainbow as it's against my religious beliefs and should not be forced on everyone.

It's my home branch and so far, nothing but good experience. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Mario helped me a lot when my card was destroyed by accident and I was out if country at the moment. Thank you, guys!

Today I was in the Scotiabank to deliver my draft check.
I went two weeks ago and I asked the manager which is the best day to come and paying less interests.
She tricked me and today I pay more than I should pay the day I asked her
No reasons to go to’ Scotiabank
Lack of transparency
And I am feeling very frustrated
Could someone from Scotiabank head office contact me please
I will really appreciate

Had a meeting with Mary Joy regarding a loan. She had a very hard time explaining things clearly and my and husband and I left confused but we needed to get things done so we signed papers. What an absolute disaster! A week later nothing was done that was supposed to be done. She emailed us trying to double our loan than we originally signed which we did not want and kept insisting that we resign papers with different amounts showing. We refused as everything seemed fishy. She then admitted that she made an error with our loan and put two requests in. We do not feel confident with anything she has touched and it is still not settled. I do not recommend booking an appointment or dealing with her for anything! She does not know what she is doing. We used to see Shema and she was amazing but unfortunately is away.

I called on the phone and Megan (I believe her name was Megan) helped me tremendously, great customer service and she helped me so quickly, this is why I use scotiabank, couldn't thank you guys enough:)

Thanks Niam for not disclosing service fees for cancelling my account before you signed me up for an account. Then trying to blame me for it. Hopefully I was just unlucky and got the bad apple of the bunch
