Normally i don't give good review this location branch at all since i has a mortgage two years ago.but today i have to give 4 star to one of their front desk assistant name Carene, she was patient, listen, helpful, and willing to showed you how to use your phone online banking.thanks Carene

HORRIBLE BRANCH. No one does follow ups or even there job for the most part. I have only been a customer to this branch for a couple months and the same issue I have been having with my account has not been solved yet. Seems like no one cares there.

I'm extremely disatisfied with the service at this Scotiabank Branch. It is difficult to make an appointment or speak to anyone when calling in, and I don't always get my calls returned after leaving a message. When we finally met with our banker to discuss a mortgage, I didn't recieved the follow up call he promised to let us know our options. Even with a thriving business during an economic downturn turn, they make us feel like a new customer with no previous relationship. Meanwhile they have their hands in our pockets with all their fees, making billions while people everywhere stuggle. I am seriously considering banking elsewhere. This branch used to have an amazing staff who were fair and courteous to their clients, but in recent years it has gone downhill. It gets 0 stars from me.

Closed an account and it’s been 2 weeks now and I didn’t get my remaining funds in the form of a draft. Staff is nice but do not follow up or follow through with commitments at all.

Ive been a long time customer with scotiabank. Ive been a loyal good customer and the staff are friendly for the most part. It saddens me that i am no longer gonna be a customer here. To simply put it they are disorganized. Someone put money into to my account so my account got frozen. This is right thing to do, however i did not get a call, email or even a text message. I called to see and they explained the situation i talked to the bank manager and he assured me ill have my money back in 15 bussiness days. 21 business days go by and i decide to go in, the same manager tells me that i have to talk to the fraud department because they need to "clear up some things" (mind you again i was left out of the loop no email, call, or text). So i call the fraud department i am placed on hold for 50 minutes and hang up in frustration. I call a couple days later excepting faster service which was not the case. I was on hold for another 40 minutes and when i eventually talked to a fraud analyst, he says that there's nothing he can do and im supposed to talk to a bank manager. Except i already did that 3 weeks ago! I am disgusted i have never felt this way. This great customer service they are supposed to have is not going on in this branch (except for most of the lower down people that work behind the counter).

No one is giving me any answers to what im supposed to do and i feel that ive explored all avenues and nothing has been solved. I know this is a complex issue but 1 month with no bank account can be stressful, especially for a student. Worse part is that this is my second time someone has gotten into my account. My sister had eerily similar issues as well as a couple friends. They all have had previous fraud related issues and experienced the same thing! No answers and a long span of time with no access to their account. They have recently changed banks and i am too.

This is just unacceptable plus their fees are high. I use to be very pleased with scotiabank but this has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Ive explored other banks and everything they have offer just seems better.

YOU GUYS NEED TO UPDATE YOUR SECURITY. Im just enraged by this disorganized company and i would not recommend scotiabank to anyone.
