Please do not book an appointment with deepak kumar mehndiratta. I had a terrible experience with him. Very pushy about his services even when i adamantly pointed out that i am not interested. Did not adress my doable need as well. Wasting my time listening to his sales pitch without solving my concern. Needless to say, i wasted my appointment and got nothing in return.

I had my mortgage with Scotia bank for 10 years. I was in the process of purchasing a new home and my previous mortgage specialist was no longer working at this branch so I was paired with Jessica Macwan. My experience with her was a nightmare. She spent a month on my file and in between I had to constantly call her to get an update. She eventually came back with an amount lower than my current mortgage. It was evident to me Jessica did not know what she was doing. I went to TD bank and met with Shamaim and along with her manager Karan they were able to approve the mortgage I needed for my new home. I would not recommend this branch and Jessica to anyone for mortgage.

This branch us good for a certain group of people from India. They will seriously try to ripoff any other kind of person walking into their doors. The officials at this branch are running big businesses outside and all their decisions are based on whether the customer belongs to their community or not. The mortgage advisersin this branch have caused so much damage to other people's life's.

Worst Branch of Worst Bank….
I have recently opened an account with Scotia Bank.
My first hit was from the staff of Southgate branch when she spent 45 minutes in clicking multiple screens in her system to do a simple thing for any customer and finally she mentioned that I will have to go to my home branch to resolve the issue.
I came to MTC branch and this experience was even worse. Staff is very inefficient and lack the professional training. I visited bank to identify the bank error and the person in charge told me to come next month as the error is not showing up in system. I wet to bank next month and the cash teller (Avneet) told me that it will be fixed with 24 hours but nothing happened in 4 days. I called help line they transferred me to the number who kept on ringing but no one attended the call. I will be visiting bank soon. This is my Hell of Experience with this bank. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BANK to anyone. What a shame…

Overall our experience with the Bank of Nova Scotia and renewing our Mortgage was horrendous! First communication is the worst I have ever seen, you schedule a meeting with them and they call you at a time before or after our meetings to have the meeting but it isn't the time it was scheduled? Sorry but when you schedule a meeting it is for a reason, people still have to work during the day and can't drop what they are doing. Then, after they said they would hold our rate the individual we were trying to finalize the rate through didn't have time to take a call or respond to us trying to finalize it so the rate lapsed somehow even though we were ready to sign and then the next day they send the commitment with hiding fees and an increased rate.

Overall worst customer experience ever.it is funny how banks don't believe in customer service anymore. We have other mortgages though a broker and we will not be renewing through the bank once this mortgage is up. I will save enough money over 3 years to pay it out just so I never have to deal with Bank of Nova Scotia ever again.

I'm truck driver nd I'm with this branch from 3years I'm on road most of tym i have to apply my pay cheque through mobile app and in last 3 months I have called my business advisor Susan for 10 times nd she is either on holidays or busy nd today she answers nd said no we can't remove my money from hold she will try to remove atleast 1000 but she didn't now I'm calling from last 3 hrs nd she's not answering. I'm not definitely changing my home branch this month. 2.5 rating Scotiabank need to look on the reviews nd shut this branch or change employees. Really poor customer service.

Most stupid branch I’ve ever had! The Lady Manager and the Male employee wasn’t able to help their client properly. Very bad when it comes to customer Service. Atleast the Manager explain to me the reason why I cannot get my own Money in my account, she did just say “NO” to her staff with an Angry face not even explain to me even I said it’s very emergency she is just sitting at the back

Too bad, slow, and worst service.

Both bank and customer service centre work differently. Soon I’ll try to close my account and transfer my GIC to other bank.

Even, the other bank are much better

My experience today has been absolutely phenomenal, I was nervous going into the Scotia bank because I had to get my named changed because Of previous errors while setting my account up, and to get bank statements which I’ve never done before, and the receptionist, Avneet, who gave me the best customer service I’ve ever received and helped me accordingly with everything I needed and with such great professionalism, she made me feel instantly welcomed and instantly shook off any bit of anxiety walking into there, she is the epitome of a GREAT worker and I Will 100% be going back to this location.

Worst bank=Scotiabank, after 3 year i got to know from Transunion that on my record it shows 0 accounts with any financial because they are not reporting them. I sent a request a while ago never heard anything back.still waiting on it its been 4 months now they want me to wait for 90 days now worst bank ever

Very disappointing service. I am a customer and they are not doing any favor to me. I had to clarify something which I was not sure and the reply I got was no at all impressive.
I am a customer of this bank for last 2 years and I never had such a bad experience. Please teach what is customer service before u make then interact with your customer or else you are definitely going to loose your clients. And today I decided close to my account with this bank.

Their tellers are one of the most frustrating people I have ever seen at any of the branch. They absolutely seems to hate dealing with public.

Set up a phone appointment. I sat at my desk with my phone and all the documents ready to go. Never called. Sent an email to the advisor that was supposed to call me. No reply. I just ended up calling the Scotiabank number and had them help me.

This place is going down hill does a second review that I'm posting the machine will not take my deposit cuz they switched over to non envelope big mistake big mistake dumb idea so I had to wait in line with one person in front of me for over 15 minutes disappointed with Scotiabank Millwoods Town center someone needs to talk to a supervisor or above them to straighten things to straighten things out it's becoming a joke going there I'm really disappointed
I came in there with a hat and go glasses the teller knew me for over 10 years and told me to take off my glasses or she. Would not serve my banking needs.another time same teller was giving me a hard time for a wire transfer.and hidden fees. I should have remembered her name. 1/5
I also noticed the branch manager kinds of hides away and tries to stay away from situations when the customer is upset I think they need to weed her out she's a bigger white lady back behind the tellers
And doesn't seem like she knows how to run the bank
