Wasted time on many occasions trying to do very simple things. Branch has you jump through hoops just to not help you once youve completed the tasks asked of you. Customer service on the telephone with Scotia is just as big of a joke and somehow even a bigger waste of time.

Highly unintelligent banker. Went to Scotiabank to take $500 out of my TFSA and they told me they can’t do that and that I would have to use my phone to transfer the money myself and to use an ATM two hours later to get it…. First time I was rejected to get my money. I have never had an issue taking money out of my TSFA before but this bank doesn’t seem to care about their customers nor their jobs. 0/5 Highly recommended to go to a diffrent branch. (As another branch properly got my money out with 0 hassle)

Always had positive interactions with the employees here. I highly recommend financial advisor Nicole. She is helpful and honest, solved our issue very quickly.

Don't share your business goals with these guys without making them sign a full disclosure agreement, because your plans will mysteriously change and your leg work with contractors and other conglomerate associations will suddenly become deceptive and evasive. Trust what I am telling you. Especially when the contract I was working on was worth $200,000,000.00 for and 8 year term, and that was only one of the contracts I was putting together. After things started to de-materialize, I used to just go there and just stare at the bank manager thinking how the guy could live with himself. Eventually I closed out my accounts after a couple of months. And didn't look back, my mother banked with them from before I was even born. But I heard that bank manager quit and went to the loony bin. Lol. Serves him right

Jackie has always been amazing every time I have visited the branch to speak with an advisor. Would definitely recommend him.

EDIT:
Jackie no longer works at this branch. So, I figured I would try another advisor. Had an absolutely terrible experience. It was so bad, I'm considering switching banks. Would not respond to my calls or emails after the fact until I spoke to the branch manager. Terrible service.

Called 2 days in a row now and automated message tells me it's over 45min to speak with someone. No call back option, just expect you to wait on hold? Pathetic service
