I booked a meeting for my small business to understand how to pay taxes through ScotiaBank as it was holding me up and causing me extra interest that was my fault for not understanding how to work ScotiaConnect. When my meeting came, the small business advisor wanted to cover everything except how to use their online small business banking. I had simply asked for how to work the online tax system and instead I was informed how my current investment plan is bad and ScotiaBank would do better then my current plan.

Other then the kind lady that checked if I had been helped after leaving my meeting in 5 minutes, my experience here was quite poor.

Waited 35 minutes for service. Unbelievable. Maybe have more then 2 people working the tills

Every time I come to this branch the clerks are just snobby, rude and look like they absolutely hate their job. They do not do a good job of making you feel good for banking with Scotia. Up there in my top 10 worst customer service experiences. Will absolutely be changing my home branch.

Worst branch and worst manager. Never called me back left voicemail twice. She should not be at that position if she can't prioritize her time accordingly.

Arrived at 4: 32 PM on a Friday after leaving early work (I work 9-5 PM) to apply for a credit card. There were 8 employees chilling and laughing with nobody in line. When someone finally decided to work I was told "sorry it's a 30 min process so we can't do it today but I can book you an appointment. "

Told the person that people usually work during their operating hours but she told me "we're opened until 6 on Wednesday" yes but since I finish at 5 I will most likely arrive at 5: 32 PM and will miss their unprofessional cut off time.

The only businesses in the world where you have an official opening hours and an unofficial "we decide to work" hours.

It states that they close at 5 PM but if you want to be attended come a couple hours early otherwise they will tell you "there is not enough time to fully take care of your needs"

Don't expect customer services. Only expect to come in with a smile and leave as frustrated as possible

Very rude customer service! This location is the worse I came pick up out new visa card which we’ve been waiting for a long time because they screwed us up but the lady said it wasn’t arrive yet but we are tracking it down and it says it already been delivered to this location worse service ever!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my local bank branch and receiving exceptional service from a bank teller named Nidaa. I must say that her assistance and professionalism made my banking experience truly outstanding.

From the moment I approached her window, Nidaa greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanor. She immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable, putting me at ease with her reassuring presence. Nidaa's exceptional customer service skills were evident throughout our interaction.

I needed to deposit a bank draft, do an eft and buy a GIC but there was no reception. Looks nice but no service so I had to go to another bank.

Absolutely horrible staff. The one worker just kept giving me nasty looks
Worst branch in the city!

Visited on June 16th afternoon, this gotta be one of the worst banking experiences I’ve ever seen.
Why put people that clearly HATE their jobs at tellers position? Instead of assisting customers, these lazy people just lean on the chair, goof off and tell people off with lies. What’s funny is they didn’t even try to pull up my profile before telling me there’s nothing they can do and sent me away.

This Scotiabank branch is in very spacious building and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Actually I came to exchange old bank note to new plastic one.they told me they cannot help just because I’m not member or this branch of banks.

This is the first time that I receive such bad service with Scotiabank, branch 225 - 6th Avenue has a guy that definitely should not be there and that is misleading his coworkers.

I went to ask for a bank statement for my savings accounts, they don't do bank statements for saving accounts, but they give you a document that pretty much has the same information you need, my wife was yesterday to ask exactly the same, and received the correct service and received the document.

In my case, they just said "no we can't" following instructions from this guy, I tried to explain that was not exactly a bank statement but that had balance and transactions, but they keep saying it was not possible.

I had to go back to my place, bring the same document that another worker from the same branch did for my wife, and show them, and then I saw this guy behind saying "oh it was this", and I told him he was not listening what I was saying, and he started arguing with me saying that it was not a bank statement, then I said I tried to explain that and he just said "well, now you have it" with a really rude tone and he just kept walking after that

Definitely not the customer service I expect from my bank

When i deposited my check it was holding, so i visited here and asked how to deposit without hold, they told me it takes "6months to proof my company information" so i waited for 6months! But it is still holding for 10months! They told me i had to visit in person for 3months after 6months! Especially manager has no idea.
