Never have I ever felt more embarrassed to be a customer at this branch and head office should clearly take a look at the manager and staff at this location if they care about how there bussiness is being represented by there employees

Terrible branch. Never return calls don't call when you have made a phone appointment and 4 different advisors have given conflicting information. Useless

What is the point in having a card slot to open the doors to access the ATM’s if it doesn’t actually open the doors to allow you to access the ATM’s. I’m frustrated in having to travel the extra distance to find a Scotiabank bank to access ATM service.

I wanted to get some money from ATM and it was close. I used my card to open the door but it didn't work. It was my second time I tried to get there.

Don't have a card access slot if it doesn't actually open the door.

I understand Forest Lawn has some folks who may try and enter the machine room during winters and such to stay warm.

But again, you have a card access slot to unlock the door for customers. Let it actually work or remove the slot.

I know for a fact that the bank has hired security if you're concerned about folks getting into the building who aren't customers. Well, that's exactly why you have security to remove those folks.

Since I moved to this area. This branch has been nothing but a joke.

Good thing I'm teaming up with some local journalists to start tackling issues with banks and other companies like BOARDWALK and Main Street.

This branch is going to be hounded with cameras and microphones soon enough.

Worst customer service of this bank, how they hire a person who don't know balance certificate. After explained by me, she showed me an attitude that you have to pay 15 dollars for it. If I am going there to ask for a balance certificate, then I definitely know it's chargeable.

Just wanna ruin everyone's day by talking with a rude state of mind.
Just wanna end up their shifts as soon as they can.

Don't prefer this location for your bank service purposes.

40 years I have been with Scotiabank and I'm switching banks. Was just at this location to make a deposit Good Friday at 9: 30am and the BANK MACHINES are CLOSED with a sign that says go-to a 711.

Here's a news flash Scotiabank. You cannot make a deposit at a 711 and I had to drive 6 km to drive thru to make that deposit so you don't charge me a $5 overdraft fee for the debit that comes out.

Its disgusting with the amount of fees the bank charges just how poor the service has gotten.

What a joke. 3 hours stuck at a gas station not able to accept an etransfer because the app wanted some 2 step verification that never came.

Had my FATHER go in to deposit my check like he always does, with my bank card that one of your staff told me and him he needed to deposit my check for me, and the manager threatened to charge him and cancel my card. He’s done this more then a handful of times. Clearly the manager needs to give their head a shake.

Worst bank ever. Had to get a cheque certified from them and they did not stamp it properly which caused my bank to not deposit the cheque, so I had to go back to scotia and ask them for the managers information so I can provide it to TD, then nobody answered the phone at scotiabank for 40 minutes when the TD manager was calling. Wasted hours of my day for something that should’ve been taken care of within minutes of getting it certified. Staff is incompetent and not helpful. If you can go to any other scotiabank you should!

The teller Winnie is such an amazing lady! She always treats me with respect which is nice, seeing as I’m a young Indigenous woman. I love this bank and made it my home branch. Thank you so much Scotia on 17th!

40 mins on hold. More time explaining. Appointment next day - call 26 mins late, after reminder email from me. Branch doesn't do secured loans (RV) and directs me to another advisor. Call that advisor and they only do home stuff. All other stuff is always referred and she cannot help. 3 calls, none able to manage a simple process. This from the bank offering online mortgage!

They are providing a terrible customer services. I came to the branch to close accounts. A teller “Winnie” didn’t show any helpful. Understanding that the bank need to go through their process to close, yet they CANNOT tell customer is nonsense because he/she is closing his/her accounts. It shows that their staffs have not been trained well and unprofessional to provide customer. Asking tons of questions and supporting documents is absolutely unnecessary as I myself present at the branch to request the closure. My recommendation is you NEVER open account with them.

Can't use ATM outside of bank hours, doors always seem to be locked. No point of having ATMs if they can't be accessed

This banks customer service is absolutely ridiculous i had a WCB cheque and they wouldn't release the funds. Me threatening to close my account had absolutely no affect on them or on what they were going to do. I highly recommend not going to this branch

They are never open. Went in on a non holliday monday to deposit a check at the tellar and they wouldnt even let me in to the atm. Security guard stopped me outside

Simran and the rest the employees including the manager of this branch are useless, heartless, disgusting people. If you have any problem I assure you, they can't help you. There is nothing they can possibly do. It would be very easy for them but they simply can't. I hope the employees and their families all suffer in poverty for the rest of their lives and no one helps them.

Made it completely impossible to set up a new bank account I waited over 2 month almost 3 months for my bank card in the mail I was trying for the new bank account incentive but declined the bank account closed before I could use it. The bank card mailed to me did not work. Plus they dont treat native people that great which sucks and this is not only this location.

Everybody else can't be wrong. This bank has always had zero customer service. Trying to get a hold of a financial advisor is a major task. I have been waiting three weeks for a return call. I spoke with a lady at reception and she said she would send an email to the advisor and cc the manager. Still waiting. I hate dealing with this bank. Nobody seems to know what they are doing, or care. It's unbeliebable that this bank does not care about any new buisness, or take care of the buisness they have. This has to be the worst bank in the country.

Worst branch I've ever been to, went there today and was the only one in line, waited for a few minutes as two tellers chatted and finally just walked out. Usually only use the a.t. M here for good reason.

Absolutely the worst. All I need was $50 US & they ask me for ID like I’m sort of criminal. This is not how you do customer service. Guaranteed I won’t be back here anytime soon.

I opened an account online on November 07/19 and I received my card yesterday, I activated it yesterday then after I finished setting everything up, my account was suspended for no reason. I called the 1 800 number and they advised me to go to my branch because they can’t do anything. I can’t go to the bank today because I’m at work and I’m done at 4: 30pm but they will close at 4pm. So I’ve being to the reach the assistant manager for 20 times and always sent me to voice mail to get this taking care faster then I got someone answered my called and said that the nearest appointment they can book me would be on this coming Tuesday and now because I cannot access my money to buy groceries and pay my bills, I would have to pay late fee because of this

Seriously the worst bank with the worst service don't go here find another bank,

Went to close the account and the customer service was terrible and another customer couldn't open an account.

Also they charge to close account!

Dealt with an estate. Had to keep on returning and returning and returning to this location because their advisors dont know at all how to close an account. They also do not know anything about RRSP's as they informed us we'd get a full return on it only later and having to come in again to find out that the government takes back most of the funds. That's fine but what's not fine is having to sit there as their advisor has to call the Toronto office and learn about why. This is greatly incompetent and this branch and bank has soured me towards SCOTIABANK period. Wouldn't ever get a loan from them, even if their rates was the lowest. You can not trust this bank. Why anyone banks with them after so many bad stories I do not know. Worst experience ever!

I went into this bank with a cheque had just verified with Ted so they didn’t have to hold it, the lady treated me like a criminal asking where my cheque was from and told me she had to put a hold on it anyways even though I had the cheque verified by the TD Canada trust 100 meters away, I went to another scotia and had my money release easily. I will never return to this bank again.

Haven't gone in to this bank because of the shortened business hours, except to drop cash off in the morning before I go to work. Four of the last five times I've gone in there has been someone sleeping in their lobby (3 times) and just this morning there was man pretending to use the debit machine and had some luggage with him. When I looked in the garbage on the way out there was a purse on top of the pile. Not looking good as to what he was doing. I am all for people having to keep warm but unfortunately do not feel safe going to this location in the mornings due to this issue. I cannot speak to customer service and this rating is based of safety and ease of use. Two of the times I went there the debit machines weren't even working. Not a good failure rate as 40% of the time.
