Slowest bank I have ever been to. Even with no line of people, the visit will be a minimum of 20 minutes for a simple bank transaction. I have never waited less then 20 to 45 minutes using this location. Scratch that they made me 45 minutes to speak to the legal department so I can pull 40 bucks out if my own bank account.

Made an appointment to meet with Kirthi for 13: 15 and they didn’t bother to show up. Even worse were the people at the counters who refused to even get up and let Kirthi know we were here, even after we asked.

They didn't even showed up for my appointment, I waited for a long time. Always had issues there, today was the last. I am switching bank this weekend, already booked with the other.

All Canadian banks are the same. They are the envy of the world, because they can get away with exorbitant fees with little customer service. Every service has an additional fee. Almost every year they make record profits because of the fees. We really are slaves to our masters.disgusting!

Everyone here was very helpful with my complicated banking needs. Even though I needed an appointment with a business finance advisor with what I needed to do (and I didn’t have one) their advisor easily took me in. I’m sure this was also close to her time off. I really appreciate them taking care of me last minute. I will be moving to this branch.

I've told Scotiabank to stop calling and been added to the supposed "no call list" 5 times now and they contiue to call me trying to sell me different things. Time to move to a new bank I guess.

If you use apple pay and someone is able to commit simple fraud on your bank account with a cheque this bank will tell you it's your fault they immediately released funds to the wrong party. They make billions in profits and have zero accountability for their lack of security measures. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH.

This is my first time to use Scotiabank, and I was appalled at low level of professionalism at this branch. I guess I was so used to RBC peoples high level of professionalism. I was greeted by this Asian lady at the counter with condescending and authoritative tone. She repeated the same questions and decided not to answer as I was already irritated at her initial tone yet she authoritatively asked again until I answered the same question. Her tone denotes questioning my credibility as she asked for my ID and implied she doesn’t know anything about my business. She then threw away my ID to the floor and said sorry with lack of sincerity? Not happy. I will try Scotiabank for a bit but definitely will keep my loyalty with RBC.

Legitimately the worst bank in the world. Have been with them for years and have had nothing but problems every time we have to do something. Never switched banks cause it's a Hassle. The latest thing is that they called to basically get mad at me for setting up my tfsa with BMO instead of them. Even though they have been terrible setting up any account for me. Why would I open an investment account of all things with them. Will be switching banks now. This was the final straw among many many straws.

Update: I transferred money from my Tangerine account to my scotia account. It all went through fine. A few days later I got a call from someone at the branch basically telling me that because the names on the two accounts don't match (married name vs maiden name) they could cancel the transfer if they wanted to. Basically threatening to not allow me to put money into my scotia account. I just checked the names on each account today and they are both in my married name. They threatened to stop a transaction because they think the names don't match, when the names match exactly. So done with scotia bank.

Teller services can sometimes be slow but I have always found the staff to be attentive and courteous in any of my dealings with the branch. I would give 5 stars if they offered a wider operation of hours.

The hours at this location are absolutely ridiculous. Closing at 4 o’clock Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday? Pretty hard to do your banking when you’re a normal working person

Low level of professionalism. Walked into this branch for a wire transfer, originally the clerk overlooked transfer info and made a mistake, I asked to re submit the transfer with the correct info. After clerk consulted with female supervisor I was asked to sit down and to double check my info, interestingly i wasn't the one who made the mistake on original transfer. After being sited the female supervisor came out and mentioned that they cannot do the wire transfer because funds were partially on hold and that i needed to go to my home branch to do the transfer. This made no sense for two reasons: the original transfer was ready to go just that there was a mistake, and i double check I had the funds before I walked into the branch. After I mentioned that I took time off work to come here the reply was "what can I tell you, your funds are on hold" I was hoping that there are better ways than lying from supervisors at this level to simply explain what happened. I feel like i was being kickout of the branch for a wire transfer to a fully legally licensed institution. Branch manager called a bit later and explained what happened, but I truly believe McDonalds provides better customer relations on the spot. After using Scotia for 10 years i feel somewhat traumatized

Good first impression with the branch. Came to open personal and business bank account and as of now have good experience with the bank.

Waited a while to be told that they could not do a simple exchange of $50 dollars to $50 dollars in quarter rolls because I’m not with Scotia and neither is the business I work for and now I can see why! Isn’t the bank for the exchange, lending and movement of money? Anyways will never go back there and Scotia bank is off my list for future banks to consider!

Slowest scotiabank in the city. Never more than 2 tellers on during peak hours. Lots of staff around though "keeping busy". Machines are also always down and never working.

Very bad service. Nobody at the branch knows how to do a simple procedure related to transferring US$ from my US$ account to an investment institution account that accepts US$. I have done this procedure before twice at this branch before but the person who helped me was not available on the day I went to the branch. At the very least, bad dissemination of banking procedures to the employees facing the public.

Very bad experience with this bank when I was renewing my mortgage after being a loyal customer for 12 years. They raised interest rate they offered to me a month ago when I about to sign the renewal. And at that moment, there was no enough time for me to shift to another lender. They took my advantage! But to be fair, the broker is polite to me.

For over 15 years I have been a loyal customer to scotia bank. I had a personal banking officer set up automatic transfer to pay my LOC. One day I receive a letter stating my account has been shut down due to lack of payment? Bizarre, considering I have set up payments for every 2 weeks. After what seemed like a million phone calls, I called a friend who no longer works for them. She explained that the branch manager didn’t do her job Because the automatic payments don’t always fall on the day the payment is due it can look like a missed payment. But a manager that actually does their job properly would have caught this. And I wouldn’t have received a letter. I should have shut down my account with them at that very moment. I didn’t. Then today I receive a call from them stating my over draft is 9 days overdue? Whatever that means. I’ve had that exact overdraft for 15 years and never have I had an issue. I don’t miss payments on my vehicle or anything else. I’ve never bounced a cheque. I deposit money every 15 and 30 of the month. Today I was asked to pay the over draft in full? It’s my over draft. How I choose to use it is my business right? Especially when the account is still clearly in use for all my everyday living! How dare they make this phone call to me. I have fully decided to shut down all my accounts with Scotia as of today. I highly suggest that you do the same. Oh and here’s a piece of advice Scotia. Have the branch manager actually call your customers. Don’t have 1800losersfromscotiabank call them randomly when it is a branch issue. You have officially lost all my business and future business and I will tell my story to anyone who will listen. I clearly understand your 2 star rating. Disgusting customer service. ATB here I come.
