Shop was nice. Kelly very nice. But no more new vehicals in stock that I was looking for! Too bad. All sold.

I had my first experience with this Subaru location today when I had to bring my car in due to a recalled brake light switch that was causing issues.
The location was very clean and well taken care of. Very nice bathrooms!
I dropped it off before work, cabbed to work, then cabbed back to pick it up.
They did not offer a ride service so I don’t believe this location has that option for anyone who is reading this review and wondering.
I was in need of some new tires so I asked the front desk worker if that was something they could help me out with while my car was being serviced.
She said absolutely, that is something they could add to the service. I was told she would get tires priced out and text me with prices while I was at work. If I wanted to get them installed during my service I could just confirm with her via text and they would be done.
The day went by with no texts or calls from Subaru, so I headed there after work to pick up my car. I was handed the keys, told where my car was parked, and off I went.
The lack of communication, is the reason for my 3 star review. It could have been that they didn’t have any tires to fit my car, but I was never told, or given any prices, so I’m not sure why I was left in the dark. For all I know they just forgot about me.
Car works fantastic, and the recall issue was rectified, but they could have potentially had a sale.

I reached out to Adam for a quote on a vehicle I was interested in purchasing and he was polite, engaging, and quick to respond.

He was above and beyond the best inquiry experience and did not dither. It was such a painless experience that when a car came earlier to us, we were hesitant to cancel our despot.

We ended up getting a vehicle closer to home but would still heavily recommend Adam and the Scott Subaru team.

We just purchased a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from Scott Subaru. This one is the most recent in a line of Subaru vehicles that we have bought from Scott Subaru over the past several years, and there is a reason for it.
Of course, Subaru makes a great vehicle, which most people know, but it is the dealership that makes buying that great product a complete package.
We dealt with Clay Grenier, and he is the one who made the overall experience something that we felt extremely good about. He was very honest and explained things in a way that were easy for a regular customer to understand. There were also things that he told us that we were not exactly happy about, but he explained them where we could truly understand the reasoning behind it and it made sense. We are just simply very impressed with the overall experience we have had with Scott Subaru and Clay, and we are also looking forward to having our vehicle cared for by them over the term of ownership that we have the vehicle.

Original review: Without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I could not have been happier with the recent service that I was provided by Clay and the team at Scott Subaru. They went above and beyond to ensure that I left with the vehicle that was right for me, were more transparent and honest than any dealership I have ever dealt with, and made me feel valued from the second I walked in the door even through to today after several weeks of ownership. In addition, they were extremely helpful and open with the process of trading in my vehicle, which is rarely the case with a dealership.

In this regard, I highly recommend using Scott Subaru to anyone who is interested in buying a new or used Subaru. It will be hard for me to buy a vehicle from anyone else.

It's a usual review that is very positive for a business that ultimately you did not buy from, but hear me out. In late 2021, I ordered a new non-Subaru vehicle from a Calgary dealer. By January of 2023, its build date had been rescheduled 3 times, and there was still no firm delivery date. I had enough and went to Plan B as a backup.

My adult daughter had had a very positive experience with Scott Subaru and the salesman Clayton Grenier, so we made the trip to Red Deer to look at an Outback XT. Mr. Grenier understood our situation and did an excellent job of showing the features of the Outback. We placed an order for one with a deposit. Unlike other dealerships, there was no markup over MSRP, which impressed me.

A few weeks later, the original non-Subaru order came through (after 16 months!) and we canceled the Outback order. They were gracious and prompt at refunding the deposit. If you want a Subaru, by all means check them out.

We cannot say enough good things about this dealership and sales staff. We have leased 5 vehicles from Scott Subaru and our experience has always been positive and pleasant. Our salesman Adam goes above and beyond to make sure the process happens in an expedient fashion and our requirements are met. He, Ernesto and Ryan are wonderful to deal with and truly value our business and make sure you are aware of this. I would recommend Scott Subaru as a great place to purchase a high quality vehicle from a super sales force.

Bought my 2nd brand new Subaru from this dealership today. Sales (Ryan) was excellent to deal with and seemed to really understand my needs. I have been with the scottsville family since 2015 when i had my GMC Terrain, Subaru Wrx 2018 and recently my new 2023 Subaru Forester. Of all my 3 vehicles that i have purchased to them, its always a good experienced and very professional especially Ryan King who helped me througout the process and best deals that you could possibly get. Even though that i am here in Calgary now, it is still worth the drive and will still go here for my future purchase of good class vehicles.

I was recommended this dealership by my Dad and Subaru City in Edmonton for ordering my Forester. What I love most about this place is that they are a family run business and not another Go Auto location trying to upsell you on promotions you don't need. They also don't put any dealership decals on their vehicles, as they agree word of mouth is the best advertising (although I did happily take their plate frame).
The sales reps are all trained and all handle finances for their customers, so they know just the right deals that work best.
Clayton was a big help in both ordering my 2022 Forester Wilderness, and getting the financials in place to trade in my civic. It was certainly worth the drive down to Red Deer from St. Albert to do business with this location.

If you're looking for a new vehicle and you're either in Red Deer or willing to make the trip, I highly recommend Scott Subaru.

We just received our new Subaru Outback from Scott Subaru. Due to the constraints caused by the pandemic the delivery time on the vehicle was extended. However, we received timely updates on the status of our vehicle throughout. When we received the vehicle it was exactly as ordered and performs as expected. The Scott team holds their customers in high regard and it is a pleasure doing business with them.

DONT TAKE CAR THERE FOR SERVICE. Missed diagnosed my daughters car twice.charged 180 for oil flush said that would fix check engine light.light came back on way home.took back said need new wiring harness. Had to pay 600 bucks to order part. While waiting for part took to other mechanic he fixed 1 loose connection. Fixed right away. Asked Subaru to cancel order and get refund. They refused.
Very frustrated wiring harness is in unopen boxed not sure why that cant be returned. Everyone wanting people to shop local.amazon would have taken return.

June 7,2022 at 11: 33 a.m. Lift kit was delivered.

June 13,2022 at 12: 12 p.m. We received an email from Nicole stating that a part was missing from the lift kit.

June 15,2022 at 3: 36 p.m. The manufacturer shipped out missing part (the part was missing right from the manufacturer).

June 16,2022 12: 12 p.m. Nicole advised that the June 22 (4 business days from US to Canada) estimated delivery would not arrive fast enough.

June 17,2022 5: 06 p.m. The manufacturer shipped out another missing part by express.

June 21,2022 4: 21 p.m. Express shipment arrives at Scott.

June 22,2022 11: 13 a.m. Original shipment arrives at Scott.

August 24,2022 9: 49 a.m. Our business receives the following 1 star review from this lovely, patient, kind, and understanding lady:

"It was not a good experience, can't say I'll be ordering from this company again, A part was missing out of our kit and I had to contact the manufacturer myself to get the missing part shipped to me directly. This company was of no help. "

I bought my 2020 Subaru BRZ from these guys and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with them, as someone who extensively dealt with other Subaru dealerships in Calgary/Edmonton.

My experience literally could not be better! Marielyne and Clay were cordial, prompt with their service, and knowledgeable. If you have any Manual transmission/BRZ-related questions, I highly recommend asking Clay!

Had a great experience buying a new Forester at Scott Subaru.
