SDI Ultrasound

I showed up early for my ultrasound and they were able to get me in a little bit early. The tech did a great job and I was on my way.

The staff here are awesome. So friendly and welcoming. I was at this location twice in 3 weeks, my first technician was Jude and the one today was Danielle. They are so easy to work with and made me so comfortable. Although no one likes to go to these things people at this place leave me with no hesitation to go back.

My mom and I visited this location for an ultrasound today. The lady who was at the door presented as very nonchalant and rude in my opinion. My mom recently arrived in Canada and does not speak English and I was there to comfort and support her for her knee injury which precipitated the visit for an ultrasound.
I had initially spoken with the reception staff about a potential accommodation to accompany her for the ultrasound but this lady blankly asked for the requisition and asked me to leave. She showed no compassion or empathy in dealing with clients. As a healthcare worker in ICU, I can appreciate the importance of maintaining a sterile environment and keeping everyone safe. However accommodations should be at least discussed and explored rather than being standoffish and shutting someone down. This is definitely my first and last visit here.

Wendy, who helped me book my appointment was kind and very pleasant to deal with, she got me in within a week, which I was not expecting. When I arrived for my appointment the lady who greeted me was friendly and Kind. My US technician (I apologize I do not remember his name!) was friendly and kind. Highly recommend.

The nurse and radiologist that I dealt with were so sweet and caring! This place might not look like much from the outside but it is the best care I have received for an ultrasound in the city. The bedside manor and compassion was too notch. Thank you!

We had a great experience with Dr Sam and he ensured my grandma was aware of everything. He was very kind and respectful

I have only just entered this place and decided to write this review of my experience entering this office. Wendy who greeted me at the entrance really treats people well. He personality will no doubt put a smile on your face and comfort you. She is a tremendous asset for your office SDI! Keep up the great work you are doing Wendy. You happy spirit is so needed in today’s Covid world.

Not the one to post but I got a call because my doc wanted me to go there but the woman that answered the phone she was very rude like rude like a Karan and I would choose not to go here at all so I rather miss my appointment then having someone being rude to me. Don't doubt she's racist either.

My wife had abdominal ultrasound and they made no mention of previously diagnosed conditions, such as multiple angiomyolipoma, steatosis, nor the lipomatosis she is currently suffering from. Not even ONE lipoma was addressed, in spite of her presenting PAIN and palpable lumps!

THESE GUYS DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO READ YOUR IMAGES PROPERLY, MAKE SURE TO GET A 2ND OPINION.

These 'pre-existing' conditions are well documented with multiple modes of imaging (previous ultrasounds and MRI), so why don't YOU look into ensuring this is not the case, because YOU STILL DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO READ HER IMAGES THOROUGHLY!

I’m not normally one to post reviews but I haven’t even gone in and am already unhappy with the cold and inconsiderate service I received by the receptionist.

My doctor asked me to specifically visit this clinic for an ultrasound on my foot and ankle that I injured February 13th. They were unable to get me in for a few weeks and upon hearing this I said “oh wow! March 19th? ! ” to which the receptionist responded “well you can go somewhere else”, I replied “excuse me? ” And she said again “you can go somewhere else if you’re unhappy with the wait time” and I said “well my doctor specifically asked me to call you so unfortunately I can’t go somewhere else”.

I gave her all of my information and at the end of our conversation I expressed disappointment in being spoken to this way and explained that I was in a lot of pain and was calling there as requested by my doctor. All she said was “ok that’s fine”. I can appreciate that they’re busy and the timeline is what it is, but her demeanour was extremely unprofessional. I hope my visit is better.

They took me right away, when my Dr.ordered emergency ultrasound.

My appointment was 12: 50 and the tech called my name at 12: 50. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The staff at SDI are fantastic! The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and easy to deal with. The wait times are minimal. The tech, Svetlana, was wonderful. She answered my questions and had a great bedside manner. I'll be going back here for any future ultrasounds.

The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly - I didn't feel like another "number" at this clinic. The wait time was minimal. The ultrasound technician was very courteous and competent. Dr. Steed talked with me about the scan and ensured the results were promptly sent to Sheldon Chumir urgent care. This ranks as the best ultrasound clinic that I have gone to.

I have gone there a few times and found the staff very friendly and competent. The Drs are very pleasant also. I highly recommend SDI.
