Second Home Pet Resort

Our girl was here for 10 days. We selected them at first based on location. Proximity to the airport and the convenience but after having met everybody and witnessing how wonderful they were with the animals I would 1000% recommend them and will use their services anytime we travel.

We've only been here for daycare, but the staff seem to love what they do and the animals they're looking after. They are eager to ensure your pets have a comfortable and enjoyable time while with them. This shows in our dog who was very nervous of being left there even for a day the first time, but seems to have warmed up substantially the second time, something we were unsure of happening regardless of where. We have her booked for overnight stay and know they'll keep good care of her.

We really like this daycare for our dog and when we leave on holidays. Very great place and the prices are so reasonable.

It’s my dog Storm’s favourite place and the staff is very wonderful on how to deal with my strong dog.

We love this place. The staff is great and our little Tofu loves going there to play with all his doggy friends. Tofu always comes back happy and he's always happy to go there.

This place is so friendly and welcoming! I fly puppies out of Edmonton sometimes and Lorna will deliver them to the airport for me. She has willingly changed her schedule a couple of times, to make a delivery to the airport for me, even if she’s having a crazy busy day. Thank you, Lorna and staff, for your wonderful business!

From the first daycare, to first week of boarding for vacation - to last minute accommodations. This place is professional, so clean, ethical, extremely friendly, organized, and reasonable. I tried others in the Edmonton area (I have a 1.5 year old female Cane Corso who is a BALL of love) and cannot believe the stark difference from Second Home to others. I drive 25 minutes out of my way for Second Home. Numbers don't lie and their ratings are an example. I had one assessment elsewhere for "convenience" and immediately regretted it for multiple reasons I wont list. If you genuinely want to trust your dog is in great care, you go here.

We toured the facility planning for an upcoming trip. The staff was awesome, friendly and informative. Kennels were spacious and clean, and had ample outdoor and indoor excise areas to play in.

It was our 5 month old puppy Ruth’s first time being away from us. When it was time to pick her up she wasn’t ready to go! She needed to say goodbye to all her new friends. All the ladies came out to say goodbye to her. They had her bed washed when we arrived and gave us lots of details about her stay with them. We were gone a week and they also gave us updates on her while we were away. 100% Ruth will be going back there when the time comes for us to leave her again. Thank you to these great people for taking such good care of our dog!

Marty has been going to this daycare for the past month. At first I was very nervous as we weren’t having good experiences with other pet daycares. As soon as we showed up I felt so welcomed! They gave me a full tour and I can’t express to you how nice everyone was! As soon as I got Marty he was tired! He got home and slept. Now Marty goes twice a week and will literally start crying when we pull up cus he can’t get out fast enough to get inside to see his friends. I also love their pricing super affordable for me!
