Didn't expect much due to the reviews, but the food we ordered was very good.

Service on the other hand was super slow, and staff didn't seem to care as it was too busy.

Ordered the bulgogi and japchae. Both were delicious and enjoyed the mini kbbq experience of cooking the bulgogi at the table. Came with 4 kinds of banchan. Good value and quality and had plenty of leftovers after.

Decided to try this place on a whim. They have KBBQ on the table if that's what you're looking for, but we decided on a couple dishes to share. Really enjoyed the jeon (seafood pancake), stone bowl bibimbap and kalbi tang soup.

Everything tasted good and the service was quick and they always made sure to check on you for anything.

I recommend it if you're in the mood for some Korean while in Banff.

My son chose this place last minute to eat. We have never had Korean food before. This place did not disappoint. We were so satisfied with the food and service. Definitely will be visiting again in the future and 100% recommend to have dinner here.

I think this place has mixed reviews because of cultural differences and ignorance. People complain about the servers not pouring water or checking up on patrons. That is just how korean food service is culturally. The expectation is that you self serve and they give you privacy to eat without being bothered. And if you call them over they will quickly serve you. I think the food here was delicious and hearty. I had my doubts because of the low reviews but this place deserves better!

We were in Banff fo 4 days recently and for two of those days we ate at the Seoul Restaurant and it was amazing, day one had one of their soups and day two we had their stews, both were awesome, delicious and filling. When we come back to Banff again we will definitely be visiting again, oh and the service was very efficient and super friendly. Thank you all!

Wonton soup was fantastic and we had a vegetable rice bowl. Very good. Super friendly people. We will Absolutely back here!

Amazing food with the friendliest service. Cozy environment and would highly recommend. Had the dwaeji bulgogi (spicy beef) and ojingeuh eokkeum (spicy squid) and both were excellent!

Welcome respite from US/Canada food
If you are tired of all the western food options in Canada, this is a good place for a change. The food is good. Service is ok. Place looks good but the ambience is a bit chaotic. Limited options if you don't eat beef.

I was hesitating to go in because of some low rating reviews. But I am sooo glad that I went in and it’s definitely one of the best authentic Korean meal I have ever had! Both food and service are great! Please don’t pass this one, you will regret!

One of the restaurant staff was really emotional and yelling really LOUD to a old Asian lady and said curse word like “F**K OFF” multiple times. During the whole time of the conflict, I only heard the male staff was shouting, the old lady looks terrified and left quickly. If she yelled back I wouldn’t feel that bad, because then it’s not a one way attack. After the lady left, the staff was still yelling and complaining loudly in Korean for a while. I was so shocked when I heard that and I was not sitting right next to them so you can imagine how loud that was. I also heard some racist words like “how you say that in Chinese, uhm? ” As a Chinese customer sitting quietly in the restaurant while the rest of them seems to be all Korean, and hearing this kind of word choices, I feel uncomfortable. As a customer that says Thank You every time the server offers some thing, I feel offended and attacked without doing anything. No matter what happened, racist and offensive words like that should never be used and yelled loud out in public place.

Waited 25 minutes before we were allowed to order even though the restaurant doesn’t even seem busy. Food was also very bland and very expensive. Wouldn’t come back again.

This is our go to place if our family wants korean food.the crew are always doing their best to accomodate customers no matter how busy the resto is.the food is delicious no doubt and very filling.i always get my moneys worth.

Hello. I am an international student from Korea. During my trip to Rocky, I wanted to try traditional Korean food, not greasy food. The food and side dishes we ordered were all delicious, and the service was very good. I don’t know why this place only has 3.5 stars. We ate here and it was delicious. Our kids also had a great time cooking their food and then eating it.

This place is not recommended when you are not korean. Been standing there for 15 min like i don’t exist but when their own people (koren) came in they served them hella fast and entertained them.
