I often find myself following my partner into Sephora if we are ever at Bower mall. She has her typical products that she always tends towards and we go to get them. She may peruse a new product or two but typically buys the usual and leaves. On our last visit which happened to be on the crazy busy boxing day, my partner was looking for foundation and had forgotten her typical colour match, (or thought it may have changed and wanted to check I cannot quite remember) needless to say she quickly asked an employee named Charmaine if she could help. And despite how wildly busy the store was Charmaine did more than just a colour match. She went over the whole skin care routine of my partner and over every product she used and advised some potential adds/changes.
This was more than what we expected but hey, basically new year/new me so let's try it was the attitude my partner took and we are almost a month later and she cannot stop praising the high quality advice and product suggestion that Charmaine provided, talking about how her skin has never looked so good, how she wished she got this advice from Charmaine back in highschool and on and on. I've suggested she write a review a few times, but she's not one to tend to do so and asked me to, so here is the review. Charmaine rocks, ask for her help and it's going to pay off.
I have gone to this Sephora location for a while. The staff has always been helpful. I need to give a special thanks to Brooklyne who was so very helpful & attentive on Black Friday. The store was crazy busy, yet she kept her focus on me and even added recommended products that were sold out to my Insider Profile. This way I could remember what we looked at & make my next visit even smoother. Your excellent customer service was appreciated.
First time shopping in sephora specifically in red deer n i had the bestest customer service w one of the staffs yesterday (aurora!). She was tremendously helpful n very knowledgeable in terms of what products to suggest.she was able to give me multiple options regarding my concerns.she was also v bright n positive even despite near closing hours! Huge kudos to them!
one complaint tho: some prices in the shelf r quite different from the actual price itself.one hair oil i bought from the mini section retailed for $20 but when i went up the counter to pay it was $24? So js beware of that! But nonetheless, it was a nice experience!
Just finished at sephora with my mom and wanted to say how grateful I am for the experiences we had with Arora and Evan! Evan was so helpful when it came to helping my mom, answering her questions, as well as giving FANTASTIC product knowledge was super appreciated in final decision making. Arora was just as helpful, she made it feel like I was shopping with a bestie! She genuinely was interested and CARED about what my needs were when it came to how my skin works. Overall, both employees were beyond friendly and made us confident in our purchases! Thanks so much for all your help today!
The staff are usually really nice. The only complaint I have is their stock level, since the last week of December they’ve had next to no stock in any of their more popular items and I don’t trust ordering off the website because of shipping issues. Would be nice to have the popular items back in stock soon.
I came in looking for a new skincare routine, I felt like I had a million questions and Emma was very helpful and knowledgeable! She made a ton of suggestions and helped me find every product I was looking for. She was very nice and sweet and helped my mom find makeup products as well! 10/10 service! Thank you!

Brooklyne helped me pick out a new foundation today. She had some fantastic recommendations and helped shade match me. Her service was lovely. Had a great experience.
Large selection which is nice. Although a lot of very expensive cosmetics. The staff is straight up rude here. They look at you like you have 2 heads and if you ask them for help they act like they are doing you a favor that they really can't be bothered with. I have been in multiple times and had many different staff I have spoken to. Just because I am not currently wearing make up, doesn't mean that I don't nor does it mean I don't have money to spend. Perhaps a friendlier more helpful staff would excel this store in customer service.
My shopping experience Feb 15,2022 never happened, service denied due to me not wearing a mask. This didn't used to be an issue before. They also refused to provide the service outside of the store. Too bad. The Bay was smarter and was rewarded with my $$$.
I went in for a very specific color of eye shadow and they said they are always out of it. In my world, if something is in the demand, I always ensure I have extra.:) other than that though the ladies that served me were top notch
I attended this Sephora awhile back. It was my first time. I was overwhelmed at first. But staff member Nayab was amazing. She took such good care of me. I didn’t know what I was doing, but she cheerfully and kindly led the way. She provided an excellent experience. I’ll go back just for staff like her. Thank you!
My one stop shop for all things pamper myself. They have great deals and assortment of products that do well for my very sensitive skin and at great prices.
Been shopping sephora bower and never had any bad experience. But today went there to shop for black friday, and this lady came approach us with my friend and told us we dont need to put the product in our skin and grab the eyeliner while we are still testing it. That was rude and unprofessional approach!
Cameron is very helpful and very friendly! Staff are great at engaging with customers especially when it's a bit slower and they can have just a regular conversation.
SEPHORA SAVED MY MAKEUP DISASTER! I went to another place to get my makeup done for an award gala later that evening to receive an award. It looked like a child did it. I walked into Sephora and asked for someone to help me. Nayab reassured me she would be able to help, and she did! She completely fixed my eye makeup and made me feel beautiful. 10/10 customer service on Nayab and Sephora and I couldn't be more grateful! Thank you Nayab and the team at Sephora for everything you did!
Faith was an amazing make-up artist. She got me all ready to go out to a big function. I learned a lot from her about the products, she was very knowledgeable. Thank you Faith! It was a pleasure.
My favorite make up store. It can be quite busy however I can almost always find someone to assist me. They are friendly and don't have a problem giving up to 3 free samples. You do often have to book ahead for makeup applications though (unless you are wanting to try just one thing). They have a lot of variety and you can try on most of the makeup with their disposable applicators.
Feeling a bit torn. 5 star cause I think the staff is amazing and the products are wicked! At the same time a 1 star only cause this store makes me broke.but Its So worth it! 5 star it is! ;)
Worst service. I went in that store twice not once did one of the girls ask to help me. I even tried asking for help and one of the associates ignored me and kept doing what ever she wanted. The other associate was just visiting with her friend
