Went in with my granddaughter. She was buying a present, she was told it was on sale, the girl behind the counter charged her full price. I stepped in and corrected the sales staff. They were annoyed that I corrected them. Way to take advantage of a young child. Won't return to this location.
Honestly out of all the Sephora stores I’ve been to I’ve really disliked my experience at this one. On Thursday evening, I came in to redeem my birthday gift and to look around for some gift ideas for my mom for Christmas. I was looking at some brushes and some moisturizers so I was moving from one end to the store to the other. I randomly heard one of the employees talking in her radio about “a girl in a puffer jacket” which was quite obviously me because I was right by her. I felt very uncomfortable because the ladies kept coming up to me asking if I needed help when I was just browsing. I understand that there are people who steal things, but I wasn’t being weird or anything I was simply browsing. This hasn’t been the first time I’ve felt so uncomfortable just browsing at this location and it makes me feel like I should only be walking in with intending to purchase something.
This is always a great place! Always busy, but well lit and clean. I have three girls, 17,15,14. The ladies at Sephora are always willing and able to help them with makeup decisions, colors and skin sensitivity. So nice to have someone who knows give some advice.
As a non dedicated person to this kind of stores, I find overwhelming not knowing most of the things are.yet, the Ink key products are amazing to allergic too everything skins!
Zury was great. Went for a beauty lesson. I was given 75 minutes and she went over. I would have bought my product there but I felt as if she was rushing me to do payment. They should allow another 15minutes to show where they got the products
Went in to find a product for sensitive skin but they were out of the one I am familiar with. The sales person helped me find an alternative brand that is additive and cruelty free and I was impressed when I tried it.
I HATE this store, I don’t want to be rude but I went in there with my friend and we were being followed the whole time, we were even holding shopping bags not sure if that’s enough for them to know we aren’t going to steal their products. I don’t even shop there, that was like my 3rd time and I will NOT be coming back. They called a security guard and as we walked out after PAYING for our stuff they said “oh never mind it’s all good” I walked out saying I will never be coming back. I spoke with the manager on the phone and she didn’t reassure me about this situation. I don’t recommend coming here.
Went there to get the Laneige cream skin toner and was also looking for a new foundation or skin tint. All the people working there were super nice and helpful. The woman who helped me find the Dr Jart BB cream was so informative, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and also super sweet. Thank you so much for your help!:)
Decent location right inside of South Centre Mall.
This location is quite large, with a great selection of all kinds of varieties of makeup and cosmetics. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
But, the two items I wanted to purchase were both out of stock (after figuring out exactly what I wanted, with the help of an employee). I assume it was just poor timing and not a regular occurrence, but I haven't shopped here often.
Oriana (cherry red hair, tan, amazing wing liner!) was so kind, warm, welcoming and engaging (without being pushy). She let me find things on my own (which I loved haha, I like to think without being asked constantly) and then checked in with me, then walked me through the Sephora Fragrance quiz and gave me some amazing recommendations. I hope you guys celebrate her because she’s awesome!
I was here Tuesday evening. The girl working at the check out desk was extremely rude. She had blonde hair, I didn’t see her name tag properly but it said something like ‘Mara. ’ She rolled her eyes at me because I put my drink on the counter while I was browsing and very rudely said you can’t just leave your drink. I know that… I was literally standing right next to it - also I was on the phone making important calls she felt the need to interrupt me browsing and on the phone for what reason? Then she stood there listening to my conversation and watched me and followed me around the store. Do better.
Not even 5 minutes in the store your employee told my child not to stand near the ledge or the front window poster would fall. Even though my child wasn’t touching anything. Mind you, your Laura Mercier products are right near the front windows so where should we stand to test it or even grab a product to try.
Horrible experience. It’s always such a nightmare in this location. Girls are apathetic and rude, if they even have the knowledge you’re looking for (which most of the time you spend twenty minutes out of your day with someone only for them to tell you they have no idea how to help you). Like fr though they pester you and pester you to the point that no one will leave you alone for thirty seconds, but then when you actually ask for their help they can’t help?
Oh and also they straight up lie? I wanted to take advantage of the sale that they have on right now, so I went in over the weekend to check on the items I wanted. An employee input my phone number into their system and told me I was eligible for 15% off. Then when I go today (the day the sale starts) to pick up my items and pay, I’m told that the chick the other day just straight up bold faced lied to me and that I’m actually only entitled to a 10% discount! Wholeheartedly this is one of the most unpleasant shopping experiences, consistently. Really really bad experience. Please train your employees better this is ridiculous.
Oh but the absolute best part? Their prices are marked wrong! Brought an item marked $20 up to the counter and it was more than $20 (not including tax). I literally brought the counter girl over to see the price they had posted for the product. She called another employee to come up and help. Unfortunately since I did not have all day to wait around at the Sephora counter I eventually just told the employee to forget it. Like I can’t believe I was stupid enough to look forward to this experience I will NEVER shop in this store front again because of the employees here.
