We had a breakin with damage at our remote cabin in Northern Alberta.
Brandon Sommert arrived to inspect the damages and quickly had repair estkmates into our insurance company.
Once things were approved Brandon set out to have the work compketed but ran into an issue where trades didnt want to come to a remote spot.
Ultimately, this was a hurdle he was able to overcome and our repairs were completed. All workmen at our cabin were friendly, polite and professional. The quality of work was first rate.
At the end if the day, Brandon did a great job for us.

We recently had water damage in our home due to a burst pipe. ServiceMasters Edmonton were assigned an emergency response by our home insurance company. The Project Manager expedited services immediately and we had a water containment crew at our home within a couple of short hours. I need to acknowledge the Project Manager specifically for his professionalism and accessibility. If I were met with another crisis I would want this Gentleman in my family's corner. The service provided by Seth, the project manager, Garry & Gian, the service crew who came to our house was stellar! Seth put in motion right away our ask for help regarding water damage in our basement. In less than two hours, on a Saturday morning, Garry and Gian (the service crew) were already in our house addressing the issue. Garry and Gian were extremely courteous, respectful and professional! They did an excellent clean up of the water damage in our basement, and we intend to have them restore all the damage that was caused by the water leakage. As well, Garry and Gian worked extremely clean, and they covered properly our rugs, hardwood floor, and stairwell to the basement.

Seth, the project manager, checked on us to see how his crew is performing the job on our site, and we appreciated the care he showed towards us, his costumers!

Overall, our experience with Seth, Garry and Gian was simply excellent! Thank you for all you have done for us, it was deeply appreciated!

**WARNING**

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN EDMONTON. THE 1ST MANAGER ASSIGNED TO MY CASE CLAIMED OVER 5OK IN DAMAGE AFTER A FLOOD INSPECTION AND TOLD ME MY INSURANCE WOULD NOT COVER IT. AFTERWARDS TALKING TO MY INSURANCE THEY CLARIFIED IT WOULD. THE INSPECTOR ENDED UP NOT WORKING FOR THE COMPANY ANYMORE AND MY CASE GOT MOVED TO LEANNE, LEANNE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, IGNORANT AND CAUSED HAD THE MOVERS "COMPLETE" MY POSSESSIONS INSPECTION TO MY INSURANCE WITHOUT ME PRESENT. ALL OF THE DELAY, CAUSED MY POSSESSIONS INSPECTION TO MY INSURANCE TO BE BASICALLY USESLESS AND NOW ALL MY POSSESSIONS DAMAGED FROM THE FLOOD THEY CLAIM AS NOT FROM THE FLOOD. MY WHOLE PLACE WAS FLOODED ANKLE DEEP. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS.

Jason and the team at SericeMaster worked with a number of contractors to ensure the goals we set from the beginning were met; remainder of the facility remained open and operational throughout and the facility was re-opened ahead of schedule. Overall, great work!

We had a septic backup into our basement that was not pretty. We called the ServiceMaster team and they responded immediately and were amazing. They spearheaded the repairs and rebuild which went great. Jason, Cole, Fernando, Cindy and team were all amazing to deal with and lean on with their expertise.

The moving team was very efficient. And the clean up crew was great! They worked so hard to leave my home clean. It really reduced my stress level post-flood to have such caring cleaners help return things to normal.

My experience with service master started out well but went downhill. I will say their crews are very polite and respectful while working in your home. My issues are the following
- not a lot of communication around changes to original estimates. We were told our vanity needed to be replaced but then it was reused. I had to point this out to be changed on the final bill too. They will only send estimates to your insurance company so even if you’re paying part of the bill it’s a lot of work to get transparency on the invoicing. They also never managed that moving our pool table hadn’t been included in the original estimate for moving contents out.
- the carpet vendor they used was a terrible experience. Carpet installed was the wrong colour and then after two more months of waiting I was robbed by the installers. I was reimbursed for the items taken but obviously a horrible experience.
- project management is very up and down, sometimes they seem really on top of your project and others time’s completely drop the ball. After the two month delay on the carpet they “forgot” we had a pool table in our storage pod and so we were delayed another week or so waiting for that to be organized to be moved back in. Also at one point delayed the clean up saying our insurance company hadn’t authorized it but that was incorrect and project was left sitting and wet for no reason.

Overall not bad but I would pay very close attention to the estimates and what actually gets done as well as timelines. The project manager has been super rude as well in dealing with some minor invoicing errors.

I was homeless from 2015 - 2018
During this time I learned to appreciate the small things in life and not take anything for granted.
There were more than a few times when I found small fortunes, or recieved unexpected gratitude from kind people.
Strangely enough, I often saw a big bright yellow van at the same exact time.
It happened so frequently that the sight of the service master van has become a
Blessed omen.
I always offer the magical van my respect when I see it.

Called in to try and book due to an active leak in our home. Got a voicemail saying that they’d call back the next day.

No callback, so I called in again and they said they’d get someone to call me right back. No callback again, so after over 8 hours I called in a third time and spoke to someone, who said they were very busy and would call me back the next morning.

That was over a week ago now, and still never received a callback. The work has already been inspected and completed by a different company.

We woke up to a flooded basement a couple weeks ago. We called Service master and they were quick to provide service and were very reassuring and professional! The people who came to our house were all very pleasant and professional! Thank you so much for providing a wonderful service in our time of need! You guys are heroes!

I highly recommend ServiceMaster. We had water come into our basement and after searching online I contacted ServiceMaster. The crew that was sent to help with the damages, along with Darren, the Project Manager were all friendly, professional, and understanding. Unfortunately, my insurance company doesn't directly work with them, and we had to change restoration companies midway through which is when it became even more evident of how amazing ServiceMaster and their team are compared to the other companies out there. Thank you ServiceMaster for making a stressful time a little less stressful.

I was in need of BioHazard cleanup and disposal of a lounge chair where a family member died. The customer service was outstanding. I was arriving on a Friday afternoon and on very short notice, they were at the house on Friday morning. At such a When I got to the house the furniture was removed, a clean up was done and any odor was dealt with. I could stay in the house and begin the task of planning a funeral. I really appreciated the empathy from the Clint - my contact and his ability to handle the task. In the end - the cost was reasonable and in keeping with the job that needed doing. I was charged for the hours the crew worked and the disposal charges. I was very grateful.

We had wonderful experience with Service Master, all the crew are very kind and understanding and try to help you out in every way they can, really appreciate it.

Also wanted to mention, that we get so many compliments on our house, Thanks to you & your professional team for doing such an amazing job.
