All I can say is I wouldn't be going back to this salon. Their girls are always doing somebody else's hair while they're doing yours I was left with bleach on my head forgotten about well a lady tended to two other people I also got a tiger stripe left on my head and a weird green tinge to it it had ruined my hair for about 4 years and I'm just coming out of that now I actually bleached my hair at home and I managed to do a far more better job than the people who worked here. The funny thing is they even tried to bring out a manager to defend them. My friend recently went there and her hair is going to be ruined for the about the same amount of years.

Visited a barber shop in the area, and the service was exceptional! The staff was skilled, friendly, and paid great attention to detail. Walked out with a sharp haircut and a positive experience. Definitely deserving of a stellar review!

Got my hair cut just wanted a simple cut long enough to put in a pony tail for work. For $42 and 10 mins in the chair, they butchered my hair. It's longer on the sides then it is in the front and I can't even it out cause they'll it won't fit in a ponytail.

Mahazin did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair. I'm definitely coming back and referring my friends.

Horrible I called to book an appointment and this one girl yelled at me and told me to wait, when I went down and go see the lady I was eating for to do my hair I think it was same girl in the cashier because it sounded like her I told her about how I called and somone shut the phone on my face and she gave me a dirty look, I am not happy because I always go to shadafide to get my hair cut and coloured and this is probably going to be the last time going.

I wasn't expecting such a transformation today and I love it! Moe cut and coloured my hair today and it’s so fresh and beautiful! Thank you! Compliments have been non stop!

Went there and asked for half an inch off the top and to fix the sides, what i was given was 2 1/2 inches off the top and a #2 all around. Can't believe it. ‍️

Noticed some people working there giving me dirty looks and it was dirty, wasn't very comfortable

Went here a long time ago, to get my hair done. Very expensive, but VERY VERY good job the hair dresser did on me. Very impressed & happy with my hair style.

My fiancé went to Shadified Salon North side of Edmonton and he had a horrible experience. He was given a terrible fade and his beard trim resulted in him having to shave it off completely when he got home. Mr Orlando the barber showed a lack of professionalism actively arguing with another barber across the room, he was agitated, dropping his utensils. Half of the time he was distracted instead of cutting hair. Reportedly the worst haircut he’s ever got. #NotSatisfied

I'm writing this review from my husband's account. Shadified is the best! Great customer service! What made my experience better is the hairstylist Rana. Rana is very kind and skilled! I confidently recommend her!

Took my niece here for her ends to be trimmed they didn't wash her hair, they never even dampened her hair, they never even sat her down in chair how pathetic they just cut it.was over charged WILL NEVER GO TO THIS CROOKED PLACE AGAIN

This place gave me the creeps everytime I went there. I thought maybe the new location just a few doors down might have a different feeling, but nope it's still uncomfortable and still unfriendly. Nobody smiles there. Not going back.

Took my 2 sons here for haircuts today and was overcharged! When I asked about it i was given multiple excuses as to why I was charged that price.
1. It depends which barber cuts their hair (had 2 different ones)
2. It depends how long it takes.
3. Skin fades cost more.
I always come in and get them the same style of cut and have never had this happen before! Not only that I had to have them fix one of my sons hair before leaving!
So disappointed in the customer service that was offered here today!

I went here once and loved it there. I went with my sister and both got our hair colored.we were both done within an hour by the same person. The haircut that was previously ruined by someone else was fixed perfectly by them.

I used to be a regular here until my recent visit, i had long hair and i asked for a specific highlights/colour, i came out with $300 bill with my hair fried! I have lost my hair, i have to chop it off now. When i called and spoke to the stylist his response was "well thats what bleach does there is nothing i can do" well, maybe the next time your client asks shows you a picture maybe if you are not confident in getting the job done then let your clients know that you cannot do it. My hair is ruined! Never go to shadified unless you want to be treated rudely!

Service was great and very professional had an appointment and everything was exactly on time. I got my hair highlighted blonde she did an amazing job. I will be coming back for sure. Thank you shadified I love my hair

Great place I’m very happy I came here, definitely won’t be my last time. The staff are all friendly, and the stylists are so professional. Best place to get a skin fade. The barber I went to is shady.

My daughter asked for a trim and some layers, the lady hacked her hair it was definitely not a trim. She had hair past the shoulders and when we left it was just below her chin. The lady cutting her hair wasn’t even looking at her while cutting her hair looking everywhere else, behind her most of the time. Horrible service! Will never be back! I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 STAR.

This place is just toxic and they just LOOT your money and they are so RACISTS. They never do the hairstyle u want instead they just do what they want and it’s my second bad experience here. A lady named Gina styled my hair it was so pathetic. She was very nice at the beginning but when I called and asked this is not what I was paid for people will start being so rude to you because you had already paid them and the BOSS is also very rude.who are new to this place NEVER EVER GO HERE for any hair cut and ruin your hair.

If you are looking for a nice clean place to get spa like hair treatment this is not the place. They have at least 2-3 people working on one person at times pulling and proding on your hair. No respect for gentle hair care. It is dirty reuses same hair brush had to ask for clean ones.
The chemicals used are like none I have experienced before very harsh.
Female workers gossip about other customers. Very factory like experience and over priced for a terrible experience! If you value maintance of healthy hair this is not the place.
Would only recommend for men and bleach blondes.

Would not recommend this place, at least not the stylist. The color and cut were horrible and left my hair completely fried and was not even ombré as asked. When brushing out my hair after backcombing they were not gentle by any means. When I mentioned this he simply said “no pain no beauty”. I didn’t even go back for correction as I feared what they would do to my hair. From now on, I will pay the extra to get my hair done right the first time. To be honest I was hesitant giving one star but had to give something

Ive been coming here for a while now and they do an amazing job on my hair like always. The prices are the best you can get and the quality is even better. I love Rano & all the employees are so kind.:) definitely recommend!

My regular stylist wasn't available. I trusted the receptionist who suggest a young man (Mohammed) to wash, cut and style my hair. Rana has made me platinum, balyage and cut my hair for years. I am very impressed by EVERYONE at this business. For their skills and top tier customer service.

I have been to many hair salon in Edmonton, and I was always unsatisfied couldn't find a Profesional person who would understand the special kind of curly hair as not all curly hairs are the same. Till I met MAHA today and she really did a great job, she was so professional, she did great job cutting and styling my hair the exact way I wanted Thank u Maha and I will always recommend you for my family and friends

If I could give this place zero star I would. To start off I booked to get my nails here in advance to make sure they’d have the nail colour nail I wanted, which she told me she had and can do however when I went they didn’t have. Then she was upset that I was upset that they didn’t have the shade and told me to choose a different colour by myself after choosing the color that was on the nails that you look at the nail polish didn’t match. During all of this she decide to get into an argument with someone on the phone while I had to wait for her to do my nails. After a while her co worker come to finish my nails

I just went to ShadiFied Salon and there's a one Her name as Maha Zane. So perfect! Professional. I just asked her to do a color that's many salons They refused to do it. Because my hair it's too damaged. So. She got it The same color that I want ️️️️

First time being there and I had a great experience! Moe was amazing, haven’t had anything done to my hair in 5 years and he sure did a awesome job.he coloured, cut and styled my hair! Obsessed with my hair definitely! 10/10 recommend going there:)

I love this place! Greeeaaat vibes. My go to is Moe on the ladies side. He does amazing colors, especially blonde which is my go to. And style style style! Serious perfection. I've had short hair curled into looking like a literal bouquet of roses. And hes done my extensions which is also flaw free. I highly recommend

Always a great experience, Moe is an excellent hairdresser who always finds the time to cut or wash and blow dry my hair, even at shirt notice!

It was really good, but my hair is too glad and puffy to make it how I wanted but in the end it ended up super cute!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother going in today. So first off my mom called me basically disappointed and very annoyed at the customer service she had.the hairdresser came in LATE, insisted my mom to have colour done when my mom specifically called to make a HAIR CUT appointment and the lady left and came back and said " No it says here you're getting a hair coloured" I don't blame my mom for getting up and leaving the salon. I've heard this place wasn't even a good place, if i only knew my mom was heading to this "salon spa" i wouldn't be making this terrible review, ZERO stars IMO. Sorry not sorry.

Been getting my hair cut here for years by some spanish guys. The do phenomemal fades and hair lines. Surgical symmetrical clean lines and even on both sides. Its always worth the wait, but I aim to be thier like after lunch which is earlier in the day because in evenings its buissy which is a good thing to see just be ready for a wait unless you pre book an apointment

The lady that did my hair did a wonderful job. I paid $253.00 for this do. Which I can keep up with easily with my own at home touch ups.
Definitely recommend this salon

Only go here if you know the stylist you are using is good! I had been using this salon so this location & the first one since I was 15 I am now 30 & I have never been treated so bad in my life! Last time I went the girl I booked with was double booked and asked if I could go to a gentleman so I was iffy but thought what could go wrong so I allowed it, biggest mistake ever when Moe was there he knew how picky I was and would usually pair me up with someone he knew I would like well he’s not there no more and shady is always so busy I don’t have time to wait so I took what I could get only to walk out with the hair cut & colour all wrong but that’s not even the worst then I got sores on my head so I had tried to contact shady on Facebook he ignored me so I called the salon and he hung up on me I could not believe after all these years of bringing them business he would treat me that way! Well he has since lost my business and every girl I know that uses him because of my referral I will however say Rayna is amazing & I should have stuck with her shady is also great but very pist off and annoyed at how he acted I have now since found a new hair salon and they do an amazing job couldn’t be happier!

The owner is personable and been at his job doing what he loves to do and it shows! SHADI didn't have to
stay late but we were in a bind for cut & color for the next day early morning funeral he personally stayed over past closing and cut and colored!
How many owners would do that and for people he has NEVER seen before!

Went in after royally screwing up my hair. A simple decolorizer ended up bleaching all of my hair. I previously had purple in it so it turned into rainbow hair but not pretty. I decided to cut it off then was going to go home and box dye it black. They said no way and gave me a deal on a cut and color because there was no way I could go out in public like that. Now it is back to being beautiful. Next time I want a change, I will leave it to the professionals!

If you are planning to get a haircut here check out my man Ahmed especially if you want a nice fade. I've been going to him for a year now and I've been happy everytime.

I have and will continue to reccomend Shaddy at Shadafied. He has been my stylist for about 3 yrs now and I have yet to leave unhappy with my hair color&cut. My daughter also has her hair done here and always leaves with a smile. A+ service in all areas of the Salon.

Absolutely Horrible. First time there and Rafi did my hair. Clearly can’t take instruction. She ended up trying to fix it 3 times. My hair was 3 different colors. I am a light blonde and wanted to go just a shade lighter. Pretty basic. But apparently not. Maybe we weren’t speaking the same language. She knew she screwed up but even when walking out she told me to never come see her again. (As if I would after that) When I called and spoke to shaddy the manger, he told me “all she did was not leave the bleach on long enough and used the wrong toner”
My point exactly! It took me $200 to repair the damage at another salon. If I could I would have uploaded before and after pictures. Spend the extra couple dollars and go to a actual salon. There’s a reason why it’s cheaper.

Great place, Ameina was excellent, it was my first time coming here and I will always be coming here. I live on the south end and came to the west end and will always drive over here to get anything done.

Shadi cut and colored my hair on a walk in appt. I couldn't be happier, my hair was a complete mess when I went in and he was able to transform it in less than 2hrs. Staff was all very polite

I don't recommend this place, they don't listen to customers and just do what they want. Horrible experience, I went with a nice highlights done in a different salon, and ask the Lady for ombre to blend the highlights with my natural hair color (roots) dark ash brown, I ended up with a dark reddish brown almost balck solid color and the roots lighter color no more highlights, I left the salon almost crying. Don't waste your time and money.

Absolutely horrible hair cut and colour. Did not listen to what I wanted at all, ignored my requests and told me it was "just my opinion" that it did not look good.

The cut is wildly uneven. Strands of hair sticking out 3-4 inches longer than the rest of the hair they cut. Not to mention, one side of my hair is an inch longer than the other side.

Refused to give me a refund. I would never trust such inexperienced staff to touch my hair again.

I was super impressed with this place. I have a friend who goes here and I love how her hair looks. Shady did a great job.my hair was reddish brown and lots of hairdressers told me it would take a few sessions to get it back to blonde.he did it in one.and it's not damaged at all. I will give 3 stars because hair is actually good but wow talk about rude! Man was not gentle! Conditioned my hair didn't even let me walk back to the chair myself struggling to keep up with him holding my hair! My scalp is even sore from him pulling my hair so hard. Every single worker was grumpy. I didn't like the service or environment.

Less then impressed. Went in to get my hair trimmed up, felt super rushed. I asked for two inches, she took a quarter inch and told me no you don’t wanna take more. She didn’t part my hair before cutting, so it’s all uneven. I got to get my hair cut and expect to feel good, not like I’m cutting into time for someone else. Which is why I booked ahead of time. Will not go back
