The best place to buy vigetables, fruits and Halal meat and midetarrenran stuff. BUT be aware when buying reduced price grosseries, you have to check the expiry dates before buying, because sometimes they keep expired products on shelfs.

I make sure when visiting Calgary to not eat breakfast and just go there first thing when arriving, cause wowww! Very good pitas specially their zaatar, and everyone is so friendly in there and such a good atmosphere, will be back next month and taking my family

If you know then you know. Get good prices at end of life items and have a snack while your in there shopping.

Love this store for all things mediteranian. From, dates, eggplant, to Olives and special spices (7 spice ect) breads and tomatoes, they do not disappoint!

Diverse types of convenience goods in addition to freshly baked manakeesh (meat and cheese pies).

I liked this store. Fruts, Vegetables lamb and chicken and a lot of meditarian goods. Foods that I used to.

This is a hidden gem to us. It's a food market yet it has a little Cafe inside where you can order a variety of Mediterranean pizza-like pies. My favourite thus far is the Zartar Deluxe! It's vegetarian and simply delicious. I find it inexpensive and a pleasant venue. We've eaten here several times since discovering it a few months ago. This is the Macleod Trail location. There's another one, their first location, located on 17th Avenue SW; however, it does not have the Cafe. Still, you can grocery shop at reasonable prices sometimes even better than the large grocery stores. I recommend Shaganappi Mediterranean Market!

Great to have closer market and produce that serves South East and South West region. I used to shop from Shaggnappi market in the 17th or some other produce markets on NE if I in need for Mediterranean food or for reasonable priced fruits and vegetables.
It is not big as I expected but I believe they have plan for expansion. The best thing that you can get freshly made Mediterranean pie (Manakeesh) coffee both are not expensive.
Fresh vegetables and fruits and always you can find a good deal. I bought a pint of BC blue berries for 1.38 cents only while you find same size over three dollars easily in big super markets.
Meat and dairy products are a bit expensive I belive. Many type of cheese to select.
It seems this is family owned to me and most of the employees are from same family or relatives. All of them are nice, customer oriented, and greet you with a smile. It is family oriented and clean place.
Hopefully we will get more selections in it, whether in groceries, vegetables, or meat (lower price off course)
I would suggest to add more options in the bakery section freshly made such as kibbeh, fatayer, and samosas.

Have been anticipating the opening of this new location for a little while now. It was well needed.

Everything, from the layout, to the variety of product, décor, customer service and cleanliness was top tier. The smiles walking in and out made my experience all the more fantastic.

Was not expecting this. I was shocked to see how a family-ran, small, yet super busy, mediterranean market was able to operate at such a large scale at this second location.

Walked in there and felt like I was at some other big box retailer. The difference was they really capitalised on that Mediterranean touch.

10/10 recommend. Will blow your head out of its place to see how beautiful this new location is.

This is a great market. The staff are very friendly. Good selection of groceries. If you are into cooking Persian style recipes, which I sometimes do, this is a "must visit" place for you. If you're in the area pop in for a browse. This will now be our "go to" market for Mediterranean grocery items. Oh, and BTW have a coffee while you are there. Best coffee in Calgary.

This is a small locally owned Mediterranean food store. Selection is limited because of space. The prices are reasonable compared to national retailers and produce prices are very affordable. I bought Lokoum (Turkish jelly candy) made in Canada at a reasonable price. It was better and fresher than the Turkish brands and the rosewater flavour was more distinct. Service is personal and you're greeted when entering the store.

Best supermarket in the city! Best produce! Best deli, and the best variety of really anything you think. Extremely friendly staff. 10/10 I highly recommend!
