I am upset to find out that the owners do not give the workers the tips we give electronically. They deserve it! I will keep on leaving a bad review everywhere until this gets sorted out.

Let me start with I absolutely love the food, but ever since the lady started working there she makes me feel SO uncomfortable. She never smiles, gives dirty looks and horrible vibes. Not to mention how stingy she is. I’ve asked for extra hummus and never get it! Nevermind the “extra”, just a smile and welcoming feeling would be nice. The vibes in there make me not want to go anymore.

Best shawarma (donair) place in Calgary. My favourite item to get is one of the wraps it’s big and will definitely fill you up. If you’re looking for a big meal or something to share get one of the platters.

Food is great, but one of your crew in Falconridge needs some lesson with manners. I ordered a Large Beef Donair with a couple of Falafels inside. I get it it's a lot of stuff inside my Shawarma, but your crew kept on insisting that I shouldn't order it again as he said it's "going to explode" and he's freaking rude. I've dealt with him twice and I've had the same experience when my buddy ordered the exact same thing. So please teach him some manners especially dealing with people. He's making the place horrible because of his attitude.

I have never ever felt so bad after visiting to shawarma palace.this was my first visit to this branch (falcon ridge).
It was not at all busy, there were already 4 staff there, when we order the food the girl, she didn’t even ask what I want, when I was ordering she was just not listening to me and starting filling my platter so my husband was waiting to place his order suddenly she just went into the kitchen when my husband gave his order she was again coming and going here and there. She was just not standing in one place and listening to the proper order then we order a chicken salad so she got irritated and said In a bad way that whatevr u want pls tell me once.
My husband told her that ur not standing and listening to me how will I place the order she started arguing with him that I said u didn’t listened.my husband is a manager in a very good restaurant so he knows very well how to behave with a customer.continusly she was saying the same thing after that I jumped up there and said no you didn’t even ask us and was also not listening to the proper order. We always go to shawarma palace 17 ave se they are very well behaved and very camly they handle their customer’s. But this was my first and last visit to this branch definitely not visit again.and I would request to the management Pls terminate her. I have the picture of the girl too.

Simply the best! Staff was awesome and helped me pick an amazing dish. Portion was generous and the food was amazing. Highly recommend if in the area.

My go to Shawarma place for 5 years now, food is always good but your grill guy today around 9: 00 pm was very rude. Please teach him some customer service.

2 star. Theyre not like the 17th ave one. They cut the meat differently, and TAKE A LIFETIME TO MAKE YOUR ORDER. Unorganized. I'll make the drive to the 17th ave one. They do it right.

Before with the old staff customer service was nice but new one don’t know how to talk to customers if you ask anything extra they don’t listen After repeating 2-3 they gonna tell you need to pay extra like seriously

I order #10 and #6 (Large) for #10 i ask for no potato, no sour cream, no hummus, no fita bread, just extra lettuce, onion and tomato. The server place the lettuce, onion and tomato in the side they usually put the hummus and potato.
Then suddenly the cook said it’s too much and the server told him that I only have lettuce, tomato and onion for sides. And then he keeps saying it’s too much, who’s that for and the server point me out and the cook look at me and said it’s too much. Wow. I always go here twice a month and always the people is friendly. But today it’s so embarrassing and to think there is a lot of people who can hear him being grumpy and rude just because of a lettuce.why do you have to treat your customers like i’m stealing lettuce.

Get it at least once a month, this location only though. Some of the others have made me super super sick (like food poisoning sick). I crave it their flavours are so good and the staff is so nice. It’s allllways busy out to the door. But totally worth the wait & the staff is fast. The platters are my favourite!

We had been coming to this specific shawarma palace for years. But recently the service, portions and quality of food has gone down hill fast. The last two times we ordered we found hair in our platters and both times there was barely any meat on the platter. When paying $20 for a platter you expect to have a good portion of meat especially when you're paying an extra $4 for extra meat. The food was also cold and old like it had been sitting for a few days. Only decent shawarma palace left is the one on 17th.

Hi, I have been buying Shawarma from this place. Usually I order from online and pick up the food and recently I decided to order in the store as it doesn't take that long. I ordered Chicken shawarma and realized that they are making chicken shawarma on the same heating plate where they are making beef. I told them in advance that I don't eat beef but it was unbelievable that even upon request they used same utensils and plate to prepare chicken which got mixed with beef, I saw beef in my chicken shawarma platter. I thrown that in the Garbage just in front of the shawarma palace. If someone make any request atleast respect other persons time and money. I will be letting all my other friend know about this.

Worst shawarma ever i had. Burnt taste, paper wrap was stick to food. Never recommend anyone to go. Disgusting to say less.

Love their chicken platter with Rice, Pita and Potatoes with garlic sauce and salad. This place is unbeatable.

Price went up and portions went down. The tahini sauce has more fat content it to make you feel filled up faster. I can't believe they would go this cheap.

Prices are higher now and the portions are smaller. I understand prices have to be raised but why is the portions smaller now?

Large shawarma is now medium size. Quality and quantity both went down but price went up. 12.50 for medium large shawarma is alot for this area. Will not be back.

Edit: Sadly out of the past 3 times I have eaten here, one has left me in the hospital emergency with stomach pain and the other with a sore throat. Can't recommend this place anymore.

Food quality and cleanliness is well maintained which is an improvement from the past. I've gained a solid 40 lbs from this place. They need to ban me for my own health.

Decreased rating as shawarma Price was increased significantly making competitors in the area more desirable.

Asif is a great host. The main core that work there are great at keeping the food clean by using gloves, etc. But some of the new employees lack this knowledge and completely ruin the experience. Favourite shwarama place of all time. Only complaint is it could be much cheaper for extra meat.

First time here and wow the portions are huuuuge. I was slightly worried I wouldn't even finish eating 1 single shawarma. Luckily it was absolutely delicious. They cut the meat off the spinner and actually sear it on the flat-top and place it in the panini press. It really makes a difference. Baklava was super sweet, saturated with honey among the flaky pastry.

They also seem very kind with other customers (asking if they enjoyed the meal). That never happens at a fast food joint.

This place was hands down the best place up until they started adding fat into their chicken, it makes the experience bad because I don't really like the fat in the chicken and so I gotta go through the whole order and take out the fat, would love to come back as soon as the fat has been taken out.

Always an interesting experience to get a platter or wrap here for and my kids. So yummy so good

Food is good. There is always a Long queue so be prepared. Service is fast and sitting is available too.

I've been getting donairs for a long time and they still taste great. I find they give the perfect balance of meat with veggies. The staff are polite. I've heard them joking around which is good. Enjoying where you work makes a difference.

We go to this place all the time.this place takes forever to get the stuff rolling.we get here at 4: 45 and don’t get out till 5: 20PM with only 2 people in front of us. The door dash shouldn’t be priority. Customers in store should come first. I’d highly recommend going else where from now on. It should not take 30 minutes to get a donair

Horrible experience. This used to be my goto place for a wrap. I waked in today July 31 Saturday around 10: 20am. When I walked in, a guy at the till (whom seemed like he was new) looked at his coworker and they both stated to laugh at me. They made me feel very uncomfortable right off the bat. Then, I was asked by the guy what I would like. I told him I wanted a wrap with only veggies and that anytime I get that made I'm charged a special price. He looked at me and said "well how do you want me to do that? " He then said that he has to charge me full price for another wrap. This to me isn't a big deal. Its his demeanour and awful attitude that turned me off from the entire experience. I would never step foot in this establishment ever again and nor will my entire family or circle of friends. I would get rid of this guy before he brings your business down. Cheers.

This is such a lovely place. My wife, daughter and I really love their shawarma, it's super delicious and very healthy. It's so difficult to resist going here every night.
The customer service experience is simply awesome. All the staff are very friendly. One of the staff, a lady Rajan, is so loved by my wife and daughter. Rajan is so friendly, always smiling and very respectful.

I purchased beef and lamb wrap. Meat was uncooked. Couldn't even chew. I called them twice. Message box was full and no one picked up the phone. Really disappointed. Total waste of my time driving there, waiting in the line up for more than half an hour and waste of money. Its been more than a week now. THEY DONT BOTHER RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS AND THIS REVIEW.

Amazing chicken shawarma! There was SO much meat in my wrap and nice touches on the veggie toppings like spiced sliced onions, and taboleh come standard!

My first time having a Chicken-Lamb-Beef mix was not disappointing.
Excellent portions (my medium felt like a large), well priced and wrapped perfectly, so there’s no excess sauce and meat stuck in the bottom.
The veggie ingredients were very fresh also like how they didn’t over sauce the wrap.

This location has just gone down the drain. The new staff hired don't care about what customers ask. When you tell them something is wrong, they look at you clueless. What a shame. **Also don't pay for extra meat. It's not gona make a difference**

Some of them put little to no veggies in shawarma and when ask for more, give rude look, makes 30 mins wait in line worthless in some cases

We've been eating at the Falconridge location of Shawarma Palace for years. The food has always been excellent and the service is friendly and fast. Their lamb and beef dishes are our favourite and the garlic potatoes are to die for! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I had an extraordinary at this place. We loved the awesome atmosphere and the food. The waiters are very friendly. I’m glad we finally managed to try this restaurant.

I am enjoying delicious Shawarma since last six years. I always found freshly chopped vegetables at this location. Staff is super friendly. Always have big lineup, but worth to wait.

Three people before me got their order before I did? I wasn’t acknowledged at all. Pretty sure they gave my order to the people behind me. I was in there for a good 32 minutes!

The food is regularly fresh and delicious, staff members gives good service. I really like how neat it is and character. Will come visit again.

The food is FANTASTIC and the portions are more than generous. The staff was also super friendly. Kitchen staff however could perhaps be a little cleaner in regards to sanitizing when handling food (touching lots of shared and public spaces then handling food without cleaning and sanitizing hands.)

My favorite food shop in all of Calgary. I'm writing yet again another 5 star review of how good their shop is. If you haven't been to this location you haven't lived. Everyone should come to this shop because of how good the food tastes. First of all, the price of the food is excellent for how good the food tastes and how much food you get. Their smallest size is medium and that's just enough the fill you up with some delicious food. Their food is the best I've ever tasted in all of Calgary at a reasonable price. They cook the entire thing in front of you too. You can customize your food just the way you want it too. The sweet sauce that they use is like none other. The combination with the sauce and the chicken/beef makes you want to give you something over a five star review. The second reason why this is such a great place to eat is because of how long it's open. For almost the entire day, this shop is open for almost the entire day. You can come in and try their delicious food as late as 1 AM. It's definitely a really good late night spot and it's worth coming to. The staff is very nice too and they take every order very seriously, unlike other restaurants, they actually care about your experience. There's a good reason why people wait so long in line to eat this stuff.

Not authentic. Food quality is poor. Cross contamination. Where is the health inspector? And by the way, real Baklava is not suppose to be that sweet. Visit Jerusalem Shawarma. Best place in town!

I stopped into this location Aug 8th to buy some Baklava, I was having a piece this morning with my coffee and found a rock in it. When I called to complain the person on the phone said "this is impossible, it has never happened in all of Canada" and when i insisted it did happen he said "what do you want me to do, I promise you we will never put rocks in the Baklava again, better? " This level of sarcasm and disregard for the customer is disgusting!

Went in for a late night bite (coming in from Kelowna to Edmonton) with my kids, food was mediocre, but the one star is for the service, felt like they didn’t wanna do anything, no smile, no ‘hi how are u’. In the restaurant business customer service is priority for me and when I feel unwelcome I would never go back even if the food was amazing.

Service was good but food was terrible. The worse shawarma I tasted long time. The shawarma wasn't toasted enough. And what's up with your baked garlic patatos (you basically put that horrible tasting garlic sauce on top). I could make better garlic baked potatoes at home and they were over priced. I wouldn't come back.

Man, they really need a way to manage wait times! We would like to go there multiple times per week but actually only go once a month due to the wait times.

Best shawarma in the city. If I want shawarma, this is the only place I go to. I have tried many shawarma locations around the city. This is the best.

One of the best falafal places around. Servers are nice to accomodate to your needs. Being vegetarian, they do ask me if they should change gloves between serving Meat and Falafal. A small thing especially i cannot guarantee how my falafal are handled in back but still appreciate. One less star as they need to get better organized, there is a lot of wait always and a lot of time, i had to leave as only gets 30 minutes for Lunch but have to wait for 20 minutes to get the food.

Well, food is great undoubtedly and it’s pretty much clean and spacious sitting arrangement however when you enter the store, nobody greets you and while you are ordering, those ladies they roll their eyes when you ask them to remove an ingredient or to make some changes; and i would say professionally it’s too much rudeness.

Personally I have nothing against anybody but definitely they should raise their standards in better customer service coz i’m sure i’m not going back there just bcoz of the absurd behaviour of few employees in there.
