Sheldon's NOFRILLS Edmonton

I decided to try no frills for the first time just before Christmas and I was absolutely disgusted. I will never go back to this particular store. I wasn't aware that you couldn't take shopping carts through self checkout. So I start putting my stuff through and this young girl Tia cut right in front of me and said I'm going to stop you right there. No excuse me you can't have the car here. Just plain rude cut me off. She told me I had to go to the cashier which was fine I was going. But there was people standing in my way so I had to wait for them to go by. She shouted it at me that I had to go to the cashier. I told her I was waiting for people to move and next time she could be more polite. She shook her head and said I was polite. Then I went to the cashier Sherry and I got no greeting and no eye contact. I've never been treated so poorly at a grocery store. I will never go back to the store! I left embarrassed and frustrated

I passed this store several times, never thought too much about it. One day I stopped, I really was suprised It's a good store with good prices. It is not close to where I live but I'm definatly going back and recommend others go.

Great Prices, on meat there are always reduced to clear deals that allow us to have healthy protein for our meals, the clearance racks of produce and bakery items are never empty, on general sales I can count on paying less than most stores and they are rarely out of stock. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly. In Sobeying experienced in the field, I appreciate bagging my own groceries, though I understand many do not, I wonder if any store will ever open a few lanes or have it ‘by request’ for a courtesy clerk to bag, This would greatly benefit any disabled customers and secure patronage of shoppers who prefer not to bag their own and for whom a small service charge may be appropriate as they tend to try to tip anyway.

They do not have the products on sale that show in the flyers they are on sale and have very little selection and products. I was very disappointed and way overpriced compared to any other No Frills grocery store we have shopped at before. We are regular No Frill grocery shoppers, and we will stick to the bigger No Frills stores. This one is small and only recommended if in a pinch for something you need right away and don't want to run all over to a bug store for a couple of things. Got a lot of false advertising from this No Frills location.

Ridiculously overpriced awful cuts of meat that look like they expired a week ago. Seriously, you shouldn't be trying to charge what you do for such lousy meat.

Since new management they don’t carry as much selection and their no name selection has gone way down. Definitely not as shopper friendly as it used to be.

So I come to this No Frills a couple times a week for years! The last couple weeks I’ve gone in, The friendly staff are gone, the shelves are empty. I asked a teller last night and she said there’s a new owner! There was no bread, the pop isle was sparse, the Kraft dinner shelves were low. I noticed over the last few weeks as well. They never seem to have coffee cream, the 18% is always empty and they changed the paper towels to the no name brand which are terrible, they are being cheap! They use to be a better brand, the no frills ones are smaller as well. Not impressed. If things don’t shape up, I will go else where and pass the word it’s gone down hill

Always have a good experience shopping here! I often go to Pamela at check out and she’s great!
