The car wash was closed due to weather which is understandable, but the associate and manager provided no assistance or compensation to make up for this. I am on a wash subscription so it’s a loss for me if I don’t get to wash on a specific day. Other gas stations have previously compensated with a wash for another day, terrible service from this one.

I want to start by saying the service at this location is quite good. This review is not about your service, per se. This is about the way certain staff members approach discussing your "senior's discount" with your customers.and I'm making it a one star review so that you read it and pay close attention to it.

Some of you ask people their age, or you automatically assume they are a senior citizen, and offer them this discount. This is a bad policy. You should never do this in Canada (in the North American culture). Perhaps, no one has explained this cultural issue to you before, so I am taking the time to do so.

Please understand that I know you are trying to be kind by making people aware that there is a discount for seniors. But there are cultural reasons why you should NEVER do this. I recommend that you simply put a large sign up for people to see instead of outright asking their age, or assuming they are a certain age by offering them a senior’s discount. The people who are old enough can let you know, ONLY IF THEY WANT TO, that they qualify for the discount. If they don't ask about it, then leave it alone. It is a very sensitive topic in this culture.

You may argue that people don't notice the sign, so you have to ask them if they are a senior in order to give them the discount. You may think a discount is the most important thing to people because, perhaps, a discount is important to you. Or, you may also say, “Some people find it a compliment to be asked their age. ” You are WRONG to assume that. Believe me, people will notice your sign if it’s big enough. But maybe they aren't old enough to receive your discount. Or, perhaps, they are old enough but it's more important to them to keep their age private than to receive a discount. That is up to them to decide—not you. You need to respect what’s most important to the customer. And, believe me, it’s not always the discount!

I understand, from travelling to many places in this world, that it is okay to outright ask about (or assume) someone's age in other countries. This is culturally unacceptable to most Canadians—to most North Americans. Our age is none of your business. You have no right asking this because some of us will find such a question HIGHLY offensive and embarrassing—especially when you ask it in front of other people, or when you ask it to someone who is not as old as you think they are.

When I go to other countries, I accept and respect their culture. For example, I taught English in Thailand a few years ago. In Thailand, older people are revered, so it is considered a compliment to refer to someone as a senior. Even though that made me feel uncomfortable, I accepted that I was living in a new culture where that would happen.

I ask everyone who immigrates to Canada to please respect our culture. Asking someone's age (or assuming they are older than they are) is highly offensive to most of us. You should never do it. If we want the discount, we will ask for it and reveal our age to you. If we don't want you to know our age, then we won't ask for the discount even if we see a sign promoting a senior’s discount. Period. Please never force that discount (or that situation) on people. It is wrong for you to do that here in Canada even if it's okay to do it in other cultures.

This carwash is simply terrible. After the tri foam, it will do only 1 side with high pressure to rinse it off. It does NOT do the other side on the way back. I expressed this to cashier Palak and she just had a negative attitude and argued with me. She called her manager and after waiting for 15 minutes to get a reimbursement, they told me nothing they can do. Judging by the numerous 1 star reviews, it would make sense to take your business elsewhere. After your car dries, you will have a literally line down the middle or your car where the uncleaned surface meets the cleaned surface. I only recommend this place if you want HALF your car cleaned.

I would say the worst Carwash I ever had. The car looks exactly the same as it went in. This was a carwash that's further away from my usual ones. Wanted to try this one. Never going back and will not recommend to anyone I know. I have to go to another carwashbto get the car cleaned. Financial loss.
