Shepard Community Hall

Community hall for different uses. People have wedding or other programs here. It’s very easy to locate. The bathroom were very clean when we got there. There is the main hall and a smaller space on the top floor. Spacious parking space. The place is well maintained. Occasionally used, if you book ahead.

We recently rented a hall for an evening event, and while it was a great experience overall, there were a few things that could have been better. The hall was spacious and clean, and the management was responsive and helpful throughout the rental process. However, one issue was the temperature in the upstairs hall, which was a bit warm and uncomfortable for some of our guests.

Another thing to note is that the rental price was a bit expensive compared to other options in the area, it would have been nice to see a more competitive pricing structure.

Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hall for anyone looking for a venue for their event. The downstairs area was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The location was convenient, with ample parking and easy access to major roads. However, I would suggest that the management considers adjusting the pricing structure to make the hall more affordable for those on a budget.

We had our wedding at the hall, Barb went above and beyond to make sure our day went flawless, the hall has a great set up, tons of parking and the backyard worked perfect for our ceremony.

I love this Community Centre. It's located in a serene environment, and has a roomy hall spacious enough for a relatively big event with a lot of parking spaces. The restrooms are spacious and tidy. Kudos.

We were here last weekend for a food truck event and it was a great spot to host it! My favourite food truck was here, Zilfords, and we were able to pick up some Krispy Kreme donuts at one of the trucks which was a nice treat. We didn't go inside so I can't comment on that but they did a great job hosting the food trucks.

Since they opened I've attended 6-8 events here. Easy to use and good parking. Recommended, and would be even better if they put up some acoustic material to deal with echoes etc.
