After submitting my first review Sherwood Park Buick GMC followed up and contacted me in regards to my concerns. We came to what I think was an equitable solution. The willingness of the dealership to rectify this situation presents itself into giving them another chance in the future.
Was having trouble with locating a set of rims. Emma not only got me a fantastic set, the price was great as well. Wonderful product and superior service.
Paul and Greg in the service department are always very professional and knowledgeable. Their mechanics and car detailing team did a great job. We will gladly continue to take our vehicles there.
Had the pleasure of dealing with Greg in the drivethru and Justin in the shop many times. Both are are amazing and a huge asset to the dealership. Thight ship, great job guys!
I got five star service at this dealership. Helpful, in every area of questions I had before my new car purchase. A very friendly atmosphere, trustworthy and honest, where I felt welcome and served by sales adviser, Herman Wiebe. (And they serve great coffee too!) I highly recommend this dealership to all who are shopping for a vehicle, new or used.

I would say most of my experience with this dealership was ok. I found Amer and Austin very helpful in the process of buying my Buick, however this got very pushy when end of moth came and I was pressured to finish my deal. I had an absolutely horrific experience with the finance department. Jessica was awful to deal with. Not only had she lied to me several times, but she was very passive aggressive throughout the time I had to deal with her. I had so much stress dealing with Jessica I had to change to a different financial person, Tim, who was much better. If your vehicle is ever delivered, I hope you have Greg deliver it. He is an extremely kind and helpful man. He needed to deliver several loaner vehicles as I was told the incorrect delivery date by almost 3 weeks from Jessica, leaving me without a vehicle. I dealt with Amer mostly and he was very kind to work with. Had it not been for Jessica I would have rated this experience 5/5 stars, however, I found she had caused a great deal of frustration, especially for my first car buying experience. I have several friends who work in the industry and are shocked with her behaviour.
My experience with Sherwood GMC has been nothing less than amazing, from the sales staff to the shuttle driver, always friendly and very fast with and service required.i have bought 2 vehicles there in the past 3 years and I will not go anywhere else for vehicle needs, if you go there ask for Mike (salesman) this young man will get you what you need. I would like to add i had my Yukon in to Wolfe GMC over the Christmas holidays to get a repair done and they ended up doing "temporary fix" for the vehicle, which was not adequate, and when my salesman (MIKE) from SHERWOOD GMC found out he called me immediately to get me an appointment in to their service department and got me a loner vehicle so i was not without a vehicle for the duration mine was in the shop. Sherwood GMC has gone over and above the call of duty, they are fixing my Yukon properly and in a timely fashion.i will always go back here! THANK YOU SHERWOOD GM!

I recently bought a truck from sherwoodparGM and they delivered a faulty truck to my work, the driver who delivered said, hey you better call your salesman and let him know this truck have and issues, so I called and they said bring it we will look in to it, they had it for 4 weeks and still couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with it or where’s the issue coming from, last Friday they told me we can’t do nothing about this it’s GM’s problem not us, so technically they sold me a truck that they knew was faulty bc they didn’t allow me to test drive they said you can’t drive it now it has a break sensor issue we ordered parts for it and it will be delivered to you when it gets here, fast forward now the truck is just sitting in their yard and they clearly said it’s not our problem it’s GM’s problem, I wasn’t expecting to be treated that way, so yeah THEY SOLD ME A FAULTY TRUCK
When I arrived I was taken through right away and was very impressed with how fast my oil change was done and the price was great. I would recommend that everyone use Sherwood Buick GMC.
Took vehicle for service, oil change and vehicle health check. All appears to have gone well. Appointment time was honoured. Pricing and promo offers were honoured as well. Only disappointment was that while waiting for vehicle, there was no coffee available, ostensibly due to COVID. Ironically, I had another vehicle just serviced at the Hyundai dealership, walking distance from this one and their coffee machine was in full operation. I also do prefer to be told verbally to come back for a wheel re-torque. Overall, I would recommend the dealership. Comparing service pricing, they were one of the best for pricing.

Sherwood Buick GMC is a very Professional Dealership that has the Ultimate Service Department. I went through the Quick Lube for a Oil change on my Chevy Traverse and they were very Informative as to what was going to happen next, step by step. Like top up the Windshield Washer Fluid, Check and Change both Air and Cabin Filters, informed me that the Anti-freeze level was Good and topped up the Air in my Tires. To Top it All off, they asked me if I would like my vehicle Washed at No extra cost. I was like, "YEAH" so they did and they washed it By Hand! INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Job Well Done. Therefore, I will be a Returning Customer.
Great place to have your vehicle serviced, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They explain everything needed and why and don't try to sell you something you don't need, and Paul is very reasonable.

Purchased a 2021 Yukon Denali from Sherwood GMC recently. Being from BC it was my first time purchasing a vehicle from out of province. The whole process went super smooth. Kyla Rae is an awesome professional to deal with. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a vehicle.
We went to this dealership looking for a truck but needed to build credit as it was a first large purchase ever. From Jahron the finance guy (who actually ended up getting us a percent less in interest) to our absolutely stellar sales guy Tyler (who worked hard to help figure out the best option for building credit), picked me up to go and get the new vehicle when it was ready and always answers my calls and texts (I can be a bit of a pest). We will definitely be back to get the truck next year and will refer anyone who asks to this awesome team.
We were in the market to purchase a new midsize SUV. After test driving a bunch of different vehicles from nearly every manufacturer we decided that Buick was a good fit for our needs and offered good value. We contacted multiple local dealers searching for the best price. All dealers came in very close on the price of the new vehicle but Sherwood Buick GMC came in with the best offer on our trade. So far so good, the sales guy seamed great as we only spoke to him on the phone and the deal was made prior to ever going to the dealership as we test drove the Buick at a different dealer.
Then when we go do the paperwork and pick up the new vehicle things get disappointing. The vehicle was dirty, had no gas, and the finance guy lied to us. We specifically told them the day before to ensure the new vehicle was clean and didn't have any dealer stickers on it. While they complied with the no sticker request the car was still dirty. There were many features on the new car that would have been really nice to get a demo of but we were on a time crunch and spent too much of our time doing the paperwork. These are all minor annoyances that we could get past. The sales guy did follow us to the gas station and fill the tank for us.
But the slimy finance guy lied to us about financing rates and rebates. The advertised low finance rate wasn't offered and in exchange we were offered a rebate equivalent to 6 months interest. But after being lied to about the interest rate it turns out we were also lied to about the rebate as well. This we can't get past and as a result will never buy another vehicle from Sherwood Buick GMC. A week later we purchased a new truck from a different dealer in the city and were much happier with the experience. It's places like Sherwood Buick GMC that perpetuate the slimy stigma of car dealers.
Got an appointment the same day as my GMC Acadia 2018 wouldn't start, road side assistance got started up. Dropped the vehicle off and a super friendly shuttle driver drove me home, later picked me up and my vehicle was working perfectly.
BE AWARE OF THIS DEALER! Gave refundable deposit to hold a vehicle I was interested in. Still have not received it back a month later. They had almost 2 weeks to have vehicle ready for SALE. When I came to view vehicle saw multiple sales people and other workers were racing and playing around the lot of their electric scooters. No help as I crawled around the vehicle checking it over. Unit didn't even have a rear wiper installed. Horrible service! Horrible sales associates and now they are ignoring me and won't give back deposit that I was told was refundable if I don't like the vehicle when I view it.
Had to file a dispute with visa to get deposit back. Pain in the ***!
Would not recommend! Avoid! Vehicles are all ex auction units and not repaired properly without paying extra on top of purchase price.
Receptionist probably had the best customer service out of anyone. Waited quite a while to get numbers and information on a truck we were interested in. Was told a few times I would be called right back and that never happened, wasn’t till the next day or later that I found something out pretty much every time.
This place has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Has helped tremendously and has constantly gone the extra mile! Highly recommend giving them your business
Traded in my old truck for a new to me truck about 99% online before I even walked into the store. Cameron Kosmin was able to send myself pictures and video of the truck. I even asked for some underneath the truck it case it was rusty! I think he crawled under to get the photos I wanted! After I came down on the weekend to pick up the truck, every thing from finance (thanks Joy) was a quick signature and off I go!
Here is where the 5 stars comes in -> I bought the truck "as is", drove the truck back home (Spruce Grove) and noticed the driver seat wasn't latching properly every time. I called up Cameron and asked if I could have it looked it. He was more the willing to help! Actually with the help of one of his crew they drove down and picked up my truck, brought it back to Sherwood and was able to fix the truck and drive it back here, at NO COST TO ME! That's crazy! They also threw in a spare key which I was willing to pay for too! Gotta thank his sales manager on that one too! I have been buying vehicles normally through Kijij and Auto trader but I am so impressed with the whole buying experience I will be going back for our next vehicle soon!
This was a great experience. I was not pressured into buying something I did not want to. They listened to what I wanted and showed me their options. When it was time to purchase the financing department was great. They went over all the available upgrades with me and didn't try to force them on me. My saleman was good with me cannot complain, but i cannot say the same about my financial service manager when being lied to about the essential care plan, also i almost waited a week after pickup day, because they did not have my winter tires with rims that was suppose to be on the vehicle on pick up date, also i have gotten advertisements emails when i clearly checked no subscription, the car is good
Took my GMC in for regular service. Every time I visit the dealership, they make me feel special.although being a down-to-earth guy, I'm not used to that sort of attention. But I leave feeling great about the experience, and knowing that the service was done correctly.
