I bought a new car here in December 2023. The salesperson Amin was so thorough and so kind through the entire process, the whole team making sure I understood everything and felt confident in my purchase.
In January 2023 my tire pressure was low due to the cold snap. The service department happily checked and refilled all my tires with no charge and no questons asked.
This dealership is so warm and so welcoming every time I visit.
They have earned a customer for life; I highly recommend Sherwood Kia for all your reliable vehicle needs.

Great no-pressure purchase experience and follow-up support.

I picked up a CPO Stinger from Sherwood KIA in April 2023. Got a fair price on my trade-in and had a very smooth, relaxed financing experience. A few months after, after having experienced some issues with a few of the vehicle systems (Stop-and-start fuel saving, Blind-spot detection, rain-sensor for auto-wipers), I took it to my local KIA dealership for some diagnostics.

They let me know the systems were fine, but the battery would only hold a 63% charge, which can cause the kind of problems I was having with the periphery electrical systems. This also meant I was sold the car with a failing battery that should not have passed the CPO inspection. When I got in contact with the Sherwood KIA service manager, Jeff, we set a date for me to bring the car in to have the issues addressed, as well as perform the first servicing.

I left Sherwood KIA that day with a brand new battery, recalibrated rain sensors, and a fresh oil change at no charge. A mistake was made when the car was sold to me with a weak battery, but mistakes happen, what matters is how they are corrected. Jeff and Sherwood KIA did the right thing:)

I dealt with Amin and Scott when purchasing my new Sportage. Between the 2 of them, it was a very pleasant, informative and easy negotion! I highly recommend them, I even drove 5.5 hours north to deal with them, as I had such a great experience 6 yrs ago!

Unfortunately not a great experience.
Most of $400 in diagnostic charges, and they were not able to figure out what's wrong with my kia sorento. They supposedly did everything they know how to do, but have no clue what's wrong with it, with their own brand. I had to just go pick it up.
Sloppy work under the hood, missing parts, items removed, then just left hanging from the engine.
I doubt very much that I'll go back.

We were in the market for a new SUV and were wide open to options and had a healthy budget to work with. The timeliness and responsiveness of the team there really set them apart from the crowd and motivated our decision in going with a Kia and more specifically - purchasing from this dealership. We had Nathan as a sales person - and he was probably the determining factor in our purchase. He is not the typical gimmicky sales person trying to push "this is our last day of a bogus sale" or "Stock is moving fast - so if you want this you have to act now" kinda hard selling that is all too common and quite frankly exhausting when you are shopping around. He was patient and would communicate on our terms. Made himself available and was chill in his delivery. The kids actually liked him and chose him too!:) He took the time to show what the vehicle is all about and walked us through all the bells and whistles and made us even more excited about our decision. The Sales Manager Scott was involved in the negotiating part of the deal - and I gotta say.he's fair. I truly believe we got an amazing deal. Thank you! Great experience. We will buy from here again. Recommendations all around so far. We will repost after our first service visit - but my expectations are high and I'm confident that they will deliver.

What is there to say.the staff at Sherwood Kia, Shak (sales) and Scott (manager) where accommodating and patient with my indecisiveness of old or new vehicle purchase. In the end, for the first time, I purchased my first "Brand New" vehicle a 2022 Kia Sportage LX. The experience was GREAT as well as the service provided by all at Sherwood Kia. Thank you!

I went for a simple tire change. Scheduled it a week ahead of time. I called a number of days before my appointment to ask about getting an alignment done that day as well, but the woman on the phone was exceptionally rude and not in the least bit helpful, so I decided to skip it and use my regular shop. So, the day came to leave my vehicle there. I had previously discussed on the phone how I needed to be done by a certain time as I had an appointment afterwords. The woman I spoke with at that time was fantastic, and helpful, and scheduled me with enough time that there would be an extra half hour, so if extra time was needed, we had it. I'm not entirely sure in what world a mount and balance takes 2+ hours, but apparently at this shop it does. They claim that it was due to the fact that I have loose ball joints and went on a big rant about how I need an inspection and this is why my tread was worn and so on. That is not, in fact, why my tread was worn. I have a regular shop I go to quite regularly, and they are friends, so they don't mess around and upsell me. I had ordered my tires online and figured I'd just also pay for the mount and balance, since it was easier than getting my tires shipped out to me and hauling them around. They sent them to this shop, so that's the only reason I ended up here. So anyway, I'm quite aware of what my vehicles needs are and these leeches tried to suck out every dollar they could. I try really hard to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt, but in this case, this shop is full of rude people, people who can't do their job in a timely manner, and greedy people. It doesn't take 2+ hours to do tires.

I had also done my breaks and rotors the weekend before, and since then they were working perfectly, but since getting my vehicle back from them, my breaks are creaking and clunking. Not sure why. Also there is a lot of knocking sound going on that was not previously there.

I am going to change my ball joints, but I just had it done a year or so ago, so I don't think it was necessary before seeing these grifters. I have a strong suspicion they messed with my vehicle on purpose, but of course I can't prove that.

Also, they still have signs up claiming they're slow due to covid, yet zero covid protocol was being followed. No one wore a mask. Not really sure how it's still affecting them, but, whatever they can use to excise their poor service, right?

Go support local. Don't support these guys.

I've got to say congratulations to Sherwood Kia, they have excellent people & management. Amin is the best car sales executive that I've ever worked with. He was professional and very thorough, as he explained in great detail in regards to the purchase of the Kia Forte LX.

I purchased two vehicles from Kia Sherwood Park. The first one in 2017, a used Kia Forte LX, and the second a 2021 Kia Forte LX in January 2021.

While both vehicles were great, I had a recent horrible service experience. I went on a trip to see family in BC, and on my trip my driver's side front tire developed a sizeable bulge. This caused us to have to stay in Revelstoke for a night in order to have the tire replaced.

We found an amazing tire shop in Revelstoke called BDM Tire (highly recommend) that got us back on the road. However, their tire expert took a look at our damaged tire and knew immediately that the damage was not caused by an impact (as the Kia Sherwood Park service manager insisted) but by a tire machine. Since arriving back in Edmonton, we confirmed this suspicion with two other tire professionals in the city (Canadian Tire and Kal Tire).

The Kia Sherwood Manager was disrespectful, dismissive, and insisted that the damage to the tire was our fault and showed no sympathy or remorse for the fact that we could have been in a serious accident due to the neglegence of his service department. Our salesperson would also not help us at all.

I was originally asking for compensation for the tire, as well as our accomodation in Revelstoke (total would have been around $250) but was willing to accept a new tire only, and they wouldn't even do that. Very disappointed and will not be doing business with Kia Sherwood in the future.

Just picked up my 2021 Kia Sorento EX and I am beyond happy! I special ordered it, it was everything I wanted and the pickup process was quick and easy! This is my second vehicle from Sherwood Kia and I have left happy both times!

I always receive amazing customer service at Sherwood Kia. The service team is prompt and my vehicle is serviced in a timely manner. The little details and extras (washing my car) make me feel appreciated as a customer.

Absolutely the best place to buy a vehicle. I’m not a huge fan of Kia but my wife loves them. I will never go anywhere else. Dealing with them is a dream compared to probably 90% of other dealerships in the city. I have done multiple deals with these guys and have never left this place feeling like I got a raw deal. They know what they’re doing, they do it well, and I can guarantee that everyone’s happy once the papers are signed. Do yourself a favour… if you’re in the market to buy a vehicle give these guys a call.

This was my first time buying a new car and the crew at Sherwood Park Kia set the bar high! I had a great experience dealing with Ju Ju and Manny, they were both so kind to deal with. I felt like we were able to come to a good agreement on a trade in and I appreciate everything Scott did to move that process along. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. I did have to wait a couple of months to get the exact color and model I wanted but they kept me posted throughout that time and called me the second it came in. They even took the time to go over all of the cool new features of my Seltos!

I’m not a person that leaves bad reviews but this was my first experience buying a car from a dealership and I hope it’s my last. It was not easy, I made an offer on Saturday, didn’t hear back for 24 hours, I signed the papers on a Monday and had to fight to get my vehicle by the Friday. It was suppose to be detailed and wasn’t done very well, if done at all. I’m not even confident that it got a correct mechanical inspection done. I was told an issue with the vehicle that I noticed during the test drive would be taken care of, it wasn’t. I did deal with some great people in the financial department surprisingly that really helped move this process along. But it really tainted me ever wanting to purchase from a dealership again.

A very huge thank you to the staff at Kia. This was my first time ever purchasing a vehicle and the staff were incredibly helpful with this process. Thank you to Amin and Logan for making this process so easy for me and helping me understand everything that I had questions about. I really appreciate the follow ups after purchasing the vehicle and offering any kind of support when I need it. Also thank you to Cassidee in finance! Such a nice lady and really made the costs portion of the purchase stress free. Love my new Kia Forte and would highly recommend this dealership, especially to those who are like me that are purchasing their first new vehicle.

We purchased our 2021 Telluride through Amin at Sherwood Kia. This was our first new car experience and it was excellent!
Amin worked with us to test drive a number of vehicles and make sure we picked one that suits our family perfectly. He is very knowledgable and has a great sense of humour. He took the time to engage with our young son and really paid attention to our needs and wants in a new vehicle. In the end, he made sure we got everything we wanted at the price we needed.

The Telluride is beautiful, full of fun features, and is incredibly fun to drive! It gives me the sense of being a young, adventurous, 20 something. When in reality, I'm a 40 something soccer mom, picking up groceries and chauffering my kids around. It is a fantastic upgrade from my minivan and still gives us lots of space to do all the family stuff and cart a crew of kiddos around.
