I found them thru a Facebook ad, and I only wish I found them sooner. The prices compared with other local nurseries blew me away. After learning they don’t mark up to cover warranty on the plants, it did not deter me. We take care of what we buy and take full responsibility. If you want that buffer, spend more elsewhere, if not, come here - it is worth it.
They are super helpful and can even order in what you need if their supplier carries it.
I’ve recommended them many times to friends who are in need of plants and trees. We have bought numerous trees from them, and they are all doing so well. We look forward to coming back to get more from them.

My wife and I have been looking for a lilac tree, not a bush or shrub, and decided to make the drive to Sherwood Nurseries. We sure wish we had found these guys first, would have saved us a lot of wasted time and gas. The service we received was amazing as was the information provided for what we were looking for. Needless to say we found the lilac tree we wanted and will most assuredly be returning here for our future plant/tree needs!

We recently bought a selection of trees for our yard, and the staff here are the best. Super knowledgeable (they have an arborist on staff, but they're all great to get advice from), super helpful, and they remembered us after just one visit. Very reasonable pricing as well. Support local!

Looked for a long time to find a tree the right size for our yard (about 10' high by 10' spread) and NO fruit/berries (messy). Other nurseries gave us conflicting information. We finally landed at Sherwood Nurseries and Lisa was most helpful. She is furthering her credentials with arborist courses and confirmed hardiness zones, etc.so we were confident with our purchase. We settled on a Muckle Plum (not fruit bearing) but needed to wait for the truck to come in with a fresh order. Unfortunately the trucker was a day late in arriving (not the nursery's fault) and we were leaving on holidays. We already had the hole dug so Lisa offered to set aside a tree with our name on it. She even called right before we left on vacation to let us know that it had arrived and would be waiting for us. They watered it for us the week we were gone. How kind!
Just picked it up this morning and it's going in the ground now. Beautiful shape.
Really great nursery to deal with and would go back for any other needs. All but the last 800 m of road is paved so it's an easy trip out. Well worth the drive.

Friendly staff and super price on shrubs and fruit trees. Around 10%-20% cheaper than other nurseries in the city (same size, same brand, same quality). The location is just a bit outside of the city limit but other than that its a great place to shop for your plants. Got my Montana grape vine and Mont Royal Black plum tree here - doing super good and the vine is already formed some small grapes.

Purchased 30 shrubs and only 15 survived so far. We have good soil and moisture and when I phoned they said sorry no refunds. Disappointed as we have ordered shrubs every year from other sources and have never had a tree failure rate like this one.

First time here today. The staff is extremely helpful. I have bought a plum tree today. The staff have given me clear instructions how to them to blossom.

I could get a similar tree that only 1/3 of the size from Canadiantire for the same price. Glad I found this place. Price is fair.

Shannon was giving us advise on the size of trees to purchase in order to be able to be delivered and planted to our pie-shaped lot in Edmonton.

Ashley was most helpful by showing us trees and making recommendations to us.

Remember to wear long pants and have bug spray on hand as this location in out in the boonies for us city folk.

They are going to deliver and we sprung for the planting as well. However, it is a three week turnaround for this service.

Great nursery! We picked up a scarlet jewel maple this year. It is absolutely gorgeous. Great service as well.

Posting on behalf of a family member that had a terrible experience with Sherwood Nurseries. We were looking at number of things, brought some stuff home and paid big $$$ for a number of trees and 5 Saskatoon bushes that were meant to be arriving on the following Monday.now here is where the issue is. This was in May.

Now it is August, we had called in to try to process a refund because we had not received the plants that we paid for over 10 weeks earlier in the season. The salesperson on the phone told us that they had an issue with refunding so much money to a visa and that they would get back to us.

Today we get a call from Sherwood Nurseries saying that they had special ordered in the saskatoons and that they were ready for pick up. We never special ordered the bushes. The salesperson told us that they would simply have a new batch on the next truck in and that absolutely did not happen. We purchased goods under false pretenses and now we are refused a refund.

We don't want your Saskatoons 10 weeks late. We want our money back.

I highly recommend! The customer service was amazing - I was able to do everything over the phone and email and got quick and thorough responses. The service level continued after our trees and plants were delivered, and I was encouraged to contact them with any questions after. I will definitely be returning in the future!

A great gem tucked away filled with beautiful healthy plants.

The plants we bought last year have returned as expected and our thriving and exceedinging our expectations. I am so happy we had guidance from the staff on the hardiest plants fir the exposure our house has.

Awesome place and best price. I went there for sod and they have good quality sod and less price.

First time costumer. Bought a couple trees yesterday. Happy with my picks, and the costumer service was fantastic! Winston was more then willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. I'll definitely reccomend friends to vist.

Very good variety of trees and plants. Knowledgeable staff. If they are out of stock they will order in. I am planning on going again this season to add more to my collection of thriving plants from years past from Sherwood nurseries.

My 3rd time going to Sherwood nurseries. From the first time 3years ago to last year my 3rd time things have changed drastically
To this location, many positive changes for a new business starting with just a field of grass. Very happy with the selection of plants and trees all for a great price. Very professional and knowledgeable staff will return again.
