Great experience! Thank you to the Smiles group for fulfilling my dental needs. Huge thank you to Dr. Jinn and Ronald as well. I don't freeze well and am very nervous when it comes to dental appointments. They helped me relax, and were able to freeze me. Highly recommended this office!

From the after hours phone call to post-extraction appointment, everyone at Smiles Dental Group - Sherwood Park has been absolutely wonderful. They squeezed me in the next morning, gave fantastic options/advice and took care of me and the situation. All of the Admins at the front checked, submitted and followed up on insurance billings and were super pleasant and even made me laugh a few times despite the scenario. Would recommend Smiles in SP to anyone looking for a great clinic. Dr. Yeh, Dr. Loa (Sp?), Ronald, Christina and Michylin were amazing! Thanks Smiles.

Was directed here for an emergency dental concerns. Not only were they unable to provide any answers or directions. They coerced me into getting a pan X-ray despite me saying I didn’t want one because I was in too much pain. The X-ray was so poorly done that no other dentist can use it and benefits won’t cover additional X-rays for 24 months. As I was leaving I heard someone yell at someone else about booking emergency dental visits and to make sure they were being booked appropriately. So they knew they couldn’t help me but took advantage of the fact that I had dental benefits so they could at least make some money off an X-ray. Would give zero stars. If you are the dental office reading this. Please contact me to resolve.

Sherwood Smiles is a top tier dental office. I’ve been seeing Dr. Yeh and his staff for 5 years and I’ve been happy and very pleased every time I walk out. They do everything they can to make you comfortable in the chair, and although it takes some time, can fix any dental issue you might find yourself dealing with. Dr. Yeh is the definition of a professional. He truly cares for his patients, and the quality of work he does is nothing short of perfection. The staff is also extremely well trained and are always ready to help. I would highly recommend Sherwood Smiles to anyone looking for the best dental office in Edmonton and the surrounding area. 10/10, I doubt any other dentist could even come close.

Everyone in this building is very friendly and helpful. I have a fear of needles in my mouth but the dentists here make it so you barely notice the needle.

Diana is my hygienist here and she is great. That said all the staff are friendly and professional. They work well with your benefits provider and there scheduling team is great at lining up appointments and sending follow up reminders. I'm a newer patient here (about 1.5 years now) and I think I've found my dentist foe life. Thanks guys

I always have a good experience here. The front desk staff are so friendly and patient. Zoryanna is an excellent hygienist and I would 100% recommend her. Both the dentists I met are very knowledgeable and personable. Overall, the whole team helps make the experience comfortable and relaxing, especially for someone like me who is super anxious about dental visits!

Great experiences so far with this clinic! Dentists are very knowledgeable and they helped me when I was in a bind with a root canal turned pulled tooth. No pressure service will continue to go here for my dental needs.

Dr. Yeh is such a gentle, kindhearted, and sincere doctor. You can feel that not only is he giving out wise opinions, but he's also studying your situation, and he doesn't push his profound knowledge to affect your decision. He wants you to study, understand, and analyze your own situation for you to be able to make wise judgments. He's such a wonderful doctor. Not only is he smart, but he's also very caring. God bless you, Dr. Yeh. Needless to say, the staff are all kind, very welcoming and warm. A beautiful place, indeed!

After confirming twice with the office that the cleaning would be covered by insurance, and their assurance they CHECKED with the insurance company, and even after I sent a pic of the benefit card saying he was eligible only in Jan 2023, they ASSURED me the cleaning would be covered. Then proceeded to bill me for the cleaning. Don’t trust this facility for any quote or assurance they provide. They are more interested in getting you in the door than providing correct information that proves costly if you trust them.

My second emergency dental appointment, and they couldn't be kinder or understanding. Right from the front door you are greeted with a smile.

It would be nice if I could get an estimate each time I get work done. The fee schedule seem to increase every time while my benefits use an older fee schedule.

Excellent, professional, considerate, efficient staff. They were running behind in the office, but they made every effort to keep the appointment moving. Hygienist was thorough while being careful to make sure I was doing all right. I've had bad ones before, elsewhere, so I appreciate good ones like Zondaya.

Stunning experience with Doctor Yeh. His technical and social skills blew my mind. I felt the best under his team's care than I've felt elsewhere with other dentists before. Instead of it feeling like a painful dental appointment, it felt like a Disney appointment. Yet at the end my problem was fixed and I left happy man.

I had the best dental visit. They managed to fit me in last minute today for my dental cleaning. I appreciated how accommodating and friendly all the staff were. I did not feel rushed in the chair when asking questions.

I had a great first experience here, but both my fiancé and I have had poor experiences on the second visit. The dentists were good, but the hygienists would talk and critique one another behind one another’s backs in front of patients. The front end staff are also very pushy on the phone about appointments and do not take no for an answer. I have been thoroughly dissatisfied with the service and my family will be taking our business elsewhere.

I chipped a top molar tooth Monday afternoon at work. I was able to get an appointment for the following day to get it examined and repaired. Totally covered by my employee health care plan. Quick and efficient service. I was in on time and tooth fixed in just over an hour. Excellent dental service! Thanks Dr. Yeh

Front staff was very friendly and efficient. The entire facility was very clean. My dental hygienist was super friendly and thorough.

Needed a wisdom tooth extraction, unscheduled as an emergency. This clinic took me in same day, and did a fantastic job. Extraction was totally painless, quick, and even had good chats and joked before we began. Would strongly recommend! Thank-You guys!

Dr Alexander Yeh has worked on my challenging teeth for years, doing work as complex as an implant. And pretty well all of that has been successful.

I had previously given a low review because of the accounting That stemmed from getting bad estimates back from Sun Life. To their credit, Smiles have re-done their billing procedure for me. We wait until Sun Life finally reconciles the estimate with the actual payment AND issues a cheque to Smile (this takes about a month). As it turns out, this is how it works with other dentists too.

I went in for my teeth cleaning and my hygienist found a cavity. The dentist came in, took a look and told me he could do the work right away if I had the time! I was thinking, “Oh no, needles and dental work! ” I was transferred to a different room and I must say, there was no pain with the needle and my cavity was done quickly and efficiently and, before I knew it, I was outside the Office walking towards my truck! Very happy with my teeth cleaning and dental experience today!

I did not feel pressured or rushed while booking, and during my cleaning/ consultation all my treatment options were explained to me very clearly.

Been coming to this clinic for 30+ years. Both the previous (retired) and current ownership have always been great. Dr. Yeh
cemented (no pun intended) our loyalties, first with an implant for my wife, and then a pair of front crowns for myself (several years ago). Wouldn't consider going elsewhere.

But ooh boy the accounting! These folks have a real bad track record in getting it right with charges from Sun Life. Should be right there the day of the treatment. But the "net" you pay once the insurance company rebate has been subtracted from the total charge is wrong about half the time. This goes back at least five years.

Yes you could pay SMILES the full amount on the appointment day, then fill out all the forms and suffer the administrative work to do the insurance company claim. BUT other Sherwood Park dentists seem to get it right. Why not simply patronize one of them?

They were able to get me in same day and it was a good of an experience as one can have at the dentist!

My son is very scared of the dentist. Dr Jih … was fantastic and answered all of my “almost 8” year old’s million questions. Smiles staff worked closely with my husband and I as they extracted the molar. Thank you!

I picked this location / dentist based on the great reviews, and so i chose Dr. Yeh specifically for crowns and veneers. So thats a few weeks of working with Dr. Yeh & his assistants & admin. Every single person there I encountered over the few weeks of appointments were amazing. Dr. Yeh just has this higher level to him then I've seen in other doc's. Just his style, his standards, his direction to staff, top end! My initial crowns/veneers were a wee bit off color wise but I wasn't that concerned - but the doc was having non of it. He called the lab that makes them and gave instructions on a redo of them. They weren't to his standard. Hell even the way he gave freezing injections were pain free and I'm terrified of those! I could keep going, but really Dr. Yeh and the whole staff are so impressive! Oh and Admin staff /manager re benefit coverage and all that stuff.she was outstanding to work with as well! Went out of her way, never a question left unanswered about financials. Amazing place!

Relocating to Sherwood Park having to find a new dental office was definitely not my most favourite on the things to do list. I am so happy with the care and service I have received. Michael has seen me on two occasions now and I can say whole heartedly he is genuinely passionate about his career. He really does take the time to ensure that you are comfortable as well as thoroughly informed during your treatment. The front desk team is also extremely knowledgable and helpful when making a care plan for yourself. Thank you all! We will see you hopefully not too soon but looking forward to it.

Was in for a cleaning for my teeth. The staff was amazing. I was put at ease as soon as I was brought in. The cleaning process was made less stressful by the staff.

I gave been through a lot of procedures with Dr. Yeh in the past 2 years after having an accident. He has been so awesome, I couldn't have asked for a better dentist and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
