Sherwood Park Volkswagen

Recently bought a car from this dealership, they were very kind when I came for the first time but when I came to pick up my vehicle everything they promised me they never did, for exam they promised me a detailing of my car so it would be perfect and clean for my pick up, but they never did that and they don’t even put any windshield washer fluid, and take in I picked it up this week during the -30 temperature. Not happy with this dealership.

We live a few hours out of town and had talked with and visited a couple dealerships prior to calling and visiting Sherwood Park Volkswagen and the overall experience and service start to finish at this dealership is unmatched. They are knowledgeable, kind and created a very efficient purchasing experience for us, which we appreciated a lot.

Carly and the VW team were awesome, they helped me get me a great car and worked through some immense challenges with getting the vehicle to BC and getting it registered. Had the best service ever, Dalyn Oszust was/is the best salesman. He treated me with lots of respect and kindness. I have been to other dealerships and got no respect and very pushy for a sale. But Dalyn was totally the opposite, I will definitely come back to Sherwood Park Volkswagen!

The sales people are very helpful and kind, however had many issues with my finance advisor and service since I brought my car. Unfortunately, I did not get approved for financing at my bank, as I am young and haven’t built up a great credit score. My finance advisor only submitted one application to one bank for me, then immediately said my only option was to finance through VW Finance. They said I could come into the dealership to put additional payments on my car, so I did not see an issue with this. One thing Asma, my finance advisor did not mention, is that VW Finance has is in no way affiliated with the dealership. This proved to be extremely frustrating when I had questions about my account balance, increasing my monthly payments, or just any inquiries. Asma also proved to be very difficult to get a hold of, and she makes promises in person without even writing anything down, or having any intention of acting on them. For example, I negotiated a warranty with her, and it took me MONTHS to get a copy of the hand written form with all of the details on it. I showed up in person and she would not give it to me, or let me take a photo. She said she would email me, but did not write down my email. I followed up with her via email myself, and Asma proceeded to send me links and information packages of general warranty’s, and I had to repeatedly ask for the same piece of paper. Eventually Asma started ignoring my emails, and I had to reach out to the salesperson who helped me find my car, Ankit. Ankit passed my message along to Asma and I heard back from her the following day. She still did not provide me with the information I needed, so I requested an in person meeting with her, and the VW manager. Asma set up a meeting time, and when I showed up, the manager was not there. The meeting lasted less than 10 minutes, as all of a sudden Asma had the paper I was looking for for months. She said I could not have a physical copy of it - which explains why when I asked for copies of everything on the date of purchase, she excluded this one. I ended up taking a picture of it and printing it off myself. Another issue I had is with the service VW provided when I tried to use it. My car only came with one key fob, and on the date of purchase, Asma promised she would order me one that day, as “it is standard for all vehicles to come with two” - (my warranty also comes with five free ones). I never heard back for her about this, and ended up reaching out when I visited in person looking for my warranty information. Asma said she would order it. She did not. I followed up via phone one day when she was not working, and was informed I had to order it myself through the parts desk. This is very understandable, but Asma wasted my time by telling me she would do it. Why not be honest? I called parts to order the fob, and was told it would take around two weeks. I followed up a month later, as I had heard nothing. It had still not been ordered. I brought my dad in to VW with me, and we ordered it AGAIN. After we did not hear back, we returned to VW, where I was informed it was on back order. I purchased my car in March, and did not get a second key fob until November. VW contacted me to get the key fob programmed, and they chose the day. As per VW, I dropped my car off at 8am that day, and was told that they did not have an appointment at Honda (my car is a Honda for my car to be serviced, so they had to wait before taking my car over to them, but said they would keep me posted a which they did not. Why did VW book my in to drop my car off on a day they chose if they did not even arrange for it to be serviced? I could have booked my car in at Honda myself, but I was discouraged to do so by Asma, VW did not have my car ready by the end of the day as they promised. I had to ask for a rental vehicle, as they just offered to shuttle me to a bus station. When I went to pick up this rental vehicle, my dad and I requested AGAIN to speak to a manager about this poor service. This also never happened.

Was a wonderful experience at this dealership. Everyone was super friendly and very easy to deal with. But when I was searching for a car for my girlfriend I had found one at another dealership she really liked and they insisted they could get the same one no problem. Same price, same everything. She went in and ended up spending 3 hours there to find out at the very end that the vehicle they were showing her was double the price and wasted her time. The one at the other dealership ended up selling before we could get there so we missed out on that. Very disappointed in having our time wasted like that and missing out on the perfect car. I love the vehicle I got, but I wish they would have been honest with my girlfriend from the start and told her what the price was initially instead of making her wait around. She reminded them of her budget several times and was very firm on it but they didn't listen and kept showing her vehicles out of her range.
Edit: asking to be taken off the call list means nothing apparently. It's been 2 years and I still get calls and emails from them after asking to be removed from their lists.

This dealership delivered impeccable service when I recently experienced an unexpected incident that required immediate attention. My manufacturer dealership wouldn't help me. Even though I was from out of town and I don't drive a VW, I was accommodated immediately. As a single woman, I was grateful to be treated with respect as they walked me through the issue and offered various solutions. They never attempted to upsell me and provided a free car wash! I highly recommend Sherwood Park Volkswagen based on their service.

The experience I had with Sherwood park folkswagen was great. The staff were kind and knowledgeable and willing to help me with any questions and concerns I had. I am new to owning a Volkswagen, and I know for the rest of the time that I have my car that I will be continuing to use Sherwood Park Volkswagen for anything that my car needs. Salesman are very eager to make a sale and they make themselves very available until the sale is done. The staff seem to be quite nice and accommodating.
