Shoppers Drug Mart

I come to this beauty boutique because they have a great selection. But every time I come into this location I am followed by staff members or ignored or they stare at me and whisper to each other. I do believe it has to do with the fact I am visibly a Muslim woman and the staff has some sort of prejudice towards that. I also feel like I don’t give off sketchy vibes so I don’t know why three sales associates and the security guard felt the need to watch me as I shopped.

This time it was a blonde white woman and a woman with a brown skin tone who is a brunette and has a pony tail (I think she may have been a manager but I’m not sure).

But I’ve been here before and had the same experience but with different sales associates.

Every time I come to this location I end up redeeming at least $200 worth of points ($300 worth of product) but every time I honestly consider leaving the products and walking out because of the blatant discrimination. If you’re going to be discriminatory at least be less obvious

I do want to acknowledge one beauty boutique employee named Morgan who actually acknowledged me, she was helpful and did not pass off judgement

I have also had good experiences in the past with the male employees in the beauty boutique, however I unfortunately did not grab their names at those times.

To the rest of the staff, do better.

There is always an unreasonably long wait to get prescriptions filled and the staff are cranky. Head to the other location just off Wye for faster and friendlier service.

There is a glitch in the pharmacy. I'm signed up for the automatic prescription refill program. Sometimes it's automatically refilled and I get a text, Sometimes, like yesterday it's not. I called in and asked for a refill. The lady said ok and I'd come in the next day after work to pickup. The next day I show up and find out they need 48 hours notice. So #1.why isn't the automatic refill program working and #2.why didn't the lady tell me 48 hours when I called?
Also. Sometimes they run my benefits thru and sometimes they are too lazy to and I end up paying full price without realizing they haven't put it thru insurance. Very disappointing and now I'm moving pharmacies.

I had the best to say for Mrs. Margaret at the perfume section. She is just incredible at her work. Thank you so for the guidance.

Today visit the store to exchangemy lottery ticket and one Philippine lady (cashier) asked me to sign. And in front of me was open a staff log, I tough she is asking me to sign there, so I’m about to do so.and in replay she was rudely telling to me …. Why are watching at this book. To be honest I was shocked the way she talked to me… disrespect to customer, Never ever suggest to visit this store… no manners how to talk to customers.

The pharmacy always has crazy wait times which even then are very rarely met and you still have to wait longer. The pharmacist are really informative and will answer questions but I’ve had a few unpleasant experiences with then being dismissive and a little rude. I also spent over 10 minutes on hold just to be hung up on. Now that my refills have been completed, I doubt this will remain my go to pharmacy.

This pharmacy is one of the most unprofessional and disorganized businesses around. The pharmacist has poor etiquette and manners and publicly broadcasted my private info with how loud she spoke. I never write negative reviews but do not go here.

Whoever the Clinique Rep was, older lady with a pixie cut and European accent - she was very rude to me. When asked if I needed help to find an exfoliator, she impromptly said my face and skin were very swollen. She said this twice before I declined her help. I know my face is swollen, from past traumatic damage. You don't need to keep saying it. The sales technique you are using is very untactful. Try better.

I love Sherwood Park Mall Shopper's Drug Mart. The staff there, really know what the are doing!

Shoppers drug mart sherwood park mall pharmacy — staff are beyond rude. First no one even greets or acknowledges you when you walk in you stand there feeling awkward for 10 minutes minimum without anyone even acknowledging your presence. Then when they do they act like you are the biggest inconvenience in their life god forbid you need a prescription filled. They treat their customers like garbage luckily I dont get many prescriptions but I have finally had enough after years of being treated like garbage Im going somewhere else where hopefully they apprciate the business. Wasnt even acknowledged today from any pharmacy assistants yet they had time to chat with other shoppers staff as they walked by - their luck of customer service is maddening!

The employees at the beauty boutique are super rude and judgmental. Especially the old lady with grey hair and the guy with tattoos. Made me feel uncomfortable shopping there today. Don’t recommend this location with unprofessional employees with unnecessary attitude.

Was just at the beauty boutique and was helped by Shayne! He gave great recommendations and make me feel very safe. I really loved his personality and he had great knowledge on the products:)

The beauty specialist Pavvi was very off putting and judgmental, she needs a lesson on friendly customer service. Will not be returning in case there’s a slight chance she would be working.

Always have a problem every visit. Pharmacy never answers the phone. Always a long wait in person. This is the ONLY pharmacy that has troubles with my insurance company. I've never had problems getting coverage for medication at any other pharmacy but here.their system always says information is incorrect and they can't submit claims for my coverage. I've called my insurance company plenty of times and my benefits center through work aswell.everyone says all information is correct. And as this is the ONLY pharmacy that has troubles with it, I think this is an issue on their end and not mine as they always say it is. I've also noticed the older ladies at the pharmacy and very snarky and rude towards all customers. Younger staff are very kind and patient though.

Five stars for Shoppers Drug Mart itself, but the pharmacy within needs to change. I have now had two separate experiences dealing with two different pharmacists who were extremely rude and unprofessional. The woman that I dealt with earlier today was very impatient with me when I tried to refill a prescription.

Asking me to call in when I clearly posted what I have a grievances with you get a star for trying but seem to not care

The pharmacists at this location are by far the worst in Sherwood Park. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because it is a fairly busy location, but service (in this case, health) IS being compromised. My doctor had changed my prescription from 20 mg everyday to 10 mg every second day. The pharmacist didn't explain that the tablets were now going to be 10 mg so I was taking 10 mg instead of 20 mg for over a week without knowing.

The rest of the store is really on point, love the beauty section and they have good stock in product.

After 15+ years of loyal patronage, I'm sad to have to move on to another pharmacy. A Pharmacist and their team play an integral role in ones own health. Unfortunately, I have experienced a severe decline in most of the pharmacy teams customer service skills. Whether it be on the phone or in person, its almost expected to receive a tone of condescension, short/rude responses, and an overall sense of them being considerably inconvenienced by your questions/concerns. How am I expected to ask important health questions when my pharmacist gives off a 'I don't really care" vibe? After receiving an icy/rude tone through the phone this evening for the 50th time, I've decide to take my business elsewhere.

This is SHOPPERS DRUG MART at Sherwood Park mall it’s relatively new, They have personal mailboxes for rent within the store see picture 3 for mailbox price’s, Staff here are very cordial and kind (Good Location) (Professional and kind staff) (Personal mailboxes)

I called in to determine if they had a specific vaccine and how to book. Rude pharmacist cut me off saying, no vaccines and to just keep calling as “they don’t have staff to call 1000s of people” then she just hung up. These are the people who are supposed to care about your health and safety people. They clearly don’t have time for you here.

I always go to this shoppers and usually find what I need and have been getting my prescriptions here for years ever since it was in the old building. They’re usually pretty quick.

I know the mask mandate was lifted but I found it a little off that when I went to pick up my prescription not one of the pharmacists were wearing masks.

While so many health care and pharmacy staff are doing their best to navigate us through this pandemic and getting our vaccines I have to say I am utterly shocked and disappointed at the Shoppers at the mall. My elderly mother called to get second shots and was met with rudeness and statements that AHS had not given the go ahead.we know multiple people who have receives three shots and st that very location. What are you on some power trip. R ridiculous and infuriating

I was referred to this place as my other pharmacy was closed, i called to inquire about getting prescription refills as i have a monthly blister pack. The Lady pharmacist was so rude as I was trying to explain the meds I needed and what time I usually take them. I'm thinking my god lady why did you become a pharmacist when you have to deal with the publc. Today I went there to pick up the prescription and she was so rude as i said the aspirin was less at my other pharmacy and she said well they'll be open Friday and you can go back there! What a snooty biach! Never will I enter this pharmacy again.

I needed a little bit of my prescription transferred from Manitoba to this location. This was done so fast and easy for me.the lady and I wish I remembered her name that was helping me got all my information correct and understood my circumstances she had my prescription delivered to the hotel right to my room. Thank you shoppers for maken this happen. Awsome people working here!

Spoke to someone in pharmacy and they were insanely rude the entire conversation, and not helpful what so ever. 0 stars if I could.

The one particular pharmascist at this location is extremely rude. I had questions about vaccination, 2nd dose & she vehemtly told me no we are not giving them. I find out the next day they were, plus all who work there & their families got them too. I heard from numerous customers how they hate dealing with her too

A+ for Justine's customer service. She was patient, kind and personable. Keep it up, you will go far with that admirable level of care.

Terribly Rude pharmacist! I called this location, hit 4 to speak to someone and then 1 to speak to customer service.
Some women answered and said ‘ how can I help you ‘ - I start my sentence off with ‘ I am just inquiring if you have something in stock at your location ‘ cuts me off and says ‘ YOU CALLED PHARMACY’ immediately puts me back on hold. Pardon me? I literally hit 1 for customer service. More like you picked up the ‘ hold call ‘ and didn’t know how to deal with it.

Won’t be going to this location ever again!

Rude pharmacist! I went there for my vaccine and showed up about 13 minutes early. I thought the protocol was to arrive about 10 minutes early? Loudly, the female pharmacist said "please come back at your appointment time". No one advised me of that when I made the appointment. How about saying "great we'll call your name when we are ready"? She hands me a form and I fill it out and return it. Now she is clearly more upset with me because I didn't wait till exactly my appointment time. I was 7 minutes early but I was simply returning the form. So she says loudly again and with a dirty look "please come back at your appointment time". How humiliating and shame-on-me for showing up not exactly to the second when my appointment was! And when I returned, the same pharmacist didn't even remember me. So I held up my phone to show her the time, hoping I would not be verbally attacked again.

What huge egos these pharmacists have. There is no reason to talk to people like this. I'll try to make my second appointment elsewhere to avoid the humiliation. This store has very bad reviews and there is consistency in what customers are saying.

This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review.
So disappointed! My daughter called to check on a new prescription- following the directions she was given by her doctor. This is the first time she has done this independently. The woman who answered the phone was so disrespectful and rude that I actually called back because my daughter was really upset.
This woman was offended that we thought a prescription could be filled in less than 24 hours. Three hours before closing seemed adequate time to me because Walmart is able to do it in less than an hour!
I’ve previously had a similar experience with this same woman. I passed it off as a bad day. Apparently not. Some kindness and compassion would go such a long way as people generally don’t contact a pharmacy when they’re feeling great.
This woman seems to have many “bad days”. I am concerned about her impatience and genuine lack of care. I worry about seniors that have no one to advocate for them.
I don’t get to act like this at my job. Do you?

I have to say everyone that works in the Pharmacy are amazing.
Super friendly & very kind.
I called today with a bad migraine & within 20 mins they had their delivery guy Terry bring me 2 tabs.
Unfortunately I was short $2.25 & he said don't worry about it.

The ladies in the cosmetic department were friendly and very helpful during my visit. This section is nicely organized and much nicer then other Shoppers in the city!

Never have advertised sale products. Easy to put products on sale and then have none on the shelf. Happens way too often for the Sherwood Park Mall location. Poor management and poor service.

Great staff! I was using the self checkout today and an item was scanning incorrect. The staff member supervising promptly corrected the issue and was so friendly and polite!
