Jan 28, Sunday afternoon, When I was paying by self check out, I heard that a very nice casher (Give her 5 stars) was saying to a gentleman that you can get a $ 20 shopping gift card for only one dollar short. Then I asked that casher how can I get the gift card if my total amount exceed $ 75? She told me to cancel my self check out, go to her counter. At this time, a slim lady who seems the store manager came over, looked at my shopping cart, and said that it seems that it could not reach $ 75, she stood front and watched the casher scanned my items until the total price exceeded $ 100, she is so rude and unfriendly, I am not feeling comfortable.

If I could give it 0 stars I would they are agest and they wouldn't let me buy my hot wheels they are completely idiots do not go to this store not only do they have the worst attitude everything in the store is over priced DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE

This is my "go to" Shoppers in Calgary for vaccinations, medicines and cosmetics. Very polite and helpful. I just had my flu shot, and I didn't even feel the needle prick!

Moved to community couple of years ago. Was thrilled to find out they had a grocery department. It was good! No longer unfortunately! Hardly any decent produce. I’ve bought produce that I’ve discovered to be rotten when I’ve got home! Ie onions, potatoes tomatoes. Lemons that are dried out blemished for$1: 40! Really! Frozen veggies are a joke mostly! Peas! Where are they? This can’t be a shipping problem now! Shelves are always jam packed with seasonal stuff! Christmas Easter valentines Blah blah! Someone Needs a good kick in the you know what! SHOPPERS get it together! You’ve got a following that’s dwindling day by day

My girlfriend and I had our child with us and we were still followed around and hounded like thieves. When we confronted the staff about it they laughed at us and continued to lie to me about their reason for following us.
I don't appreciate that behavior period!

As a former employee this is your warning to avoid the elbow drive shoppers. Let’s start with the pharmacy. They barely do their jobs, they don’t reach out or fax your doctors when asked, they tell customers to reach out to insurance despite that being their job and not the customers. They argue about medications, they leave you standing in line without so much as a hello. They page merchandisers to answer medical questions- despite merchandisers legally not being allowed to answer. They pharmacy has been open without a pharmacist (Dec 24 2021) because the owner had a party to attend.

Front staff is harassed for taking their breaks and written up if they complain about it or you know.take their breaks. They push the staff to play security and put themselves at risk over product.

I as a cashier had to talk to management
About banning a customer who assaulted a cashier.and how to handle that safely. The staff was scared to say anything to the management. So I went to the management team and set meetings about safety.

The manager huffs about having to special order in boost for customers who depend on it in order to function- some are prescribed. But it’s a hassle, and she can’t be bothered.

We’ve had elderly people cry in the store from the lash of compassion and Customer service.
If you’re looking for a pharmacy that is compassionate and cares about you, this is the last place you should go.

Head office needs to get control of this store. Your pharmacy team is out of control and behave like it’s the Wild West, questioning patients in public and denying medication with prescriptions and making elderly people upset. It’s so messed up. I truly feel like reporting this store to the police for the harassment and terrible behaviour I’ve witnessed. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Coming from someone who used to work here id avoid shopping or looking for work here. Between the racial profiling that happens, making you sign off on no overtime pay, them staying open without a pharmacist in the store, Merchandiser have to answer medial questions and give out medical recommendations even tho its against the law for them to do so, im surprised they haven't been looked into yet. Cashiers have to basically beg to get their breaks or get written up if they talk about not getting to take their breaks within a reasonable time to other staff. They also get in trouble when they use their till.
Merchandisers have to play security because you know product is sooo important.you are over worked and under paid. We had elderly people cry due to lack of compassion and respect. The store owner doesn't care about those who work or shop there. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

Worst experience I've ever had. I have a question about drug I pickup so I make a call them. But the phamasicst who talks with me just is saying something she want to say and she hang up the phone unilaterally.

Worst pharmacy. Slow, constantly disorganized and bad client follow up. I am moving my prescriptions as a result of the total lack of care, attention or assistance from staff. Most recently, they went to process a precaution but can only fill 30 days at a time due to insurance. Rather than call me back and explain that they just cancelled my order. When I called today to confirm it’s ready (because I can never trust that they will) I was greeted by a rude and condescending pharmacy tech who said I would just have to wait (even though I’m going out of town) because it’s a stay holiday and not her fault. I’m beyond disappointed

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Each time you visit you deal with a different front counter person who has no idea what's going on. Prescriptions over the phone and online and not filled when they're promised and the general lack of of knowledge from the staff is amazing. I would rate this pharmacy 0/5 if I could.

Better to go to an actual grocery store if you need to shop for things as they are usually more expensive.

Incredibly rude pharmacist team, needed to repeat myself multiple time and they could not find my prescriptions - then only found 2 when I said there was another one the staff was rude and threw my prescriptions at me and told me to never come back - the staff want to preach but respect do not give it to customers.the Pharmacy teams needs training on customer service *BADLY*- if you don't like your job you don't take it out on the customers.

We shop at shoppers drug mart almost daily we enjoy the friendliness of the staff. My son who is 27 goes in and every time the security guard follows him. I know the pharmacy has been robbed but it's not my son. The staff all know my son but today it sent him over the edge because this guy followed him around. My son does not steal he had to go to the back of the store to get cat food. Its just not today its every time just because his jacket is black or his hat that makes him someone of suspicion? The last people who robbed them were women so and they are never alone my son is alone. He is angry.

Was getting thirsty for water and store was clean to the point I thought I was in a hospital but regardless, store is very well maintained and clean.

I love this store, it's walking distance so I don't have to take my car and it has groceries so I can grab whatever I need plus my prescriptions. I have been coming to this store for over 10 years, and today I had great service which is usually touch and go here sometimes with attitude.or begrudgingly helpful.which is rather discouraging to say the least however today Julie was Awesome! So friendly and went out of her way to help, Great customer service! She is an asset to this store.

This is one of my favourite stores, it really has everything for one stop shopping. Now they even have fresh meat and fresh produce, along with gifts, some electronics and the usual drug store stuff. The staff is friendly and super helpful.

Hello, I saw your Beano 60 tabs today the price is $17.99 but below the price tag another tag states $14.99 for Optimum members only. I'm glad to see this and took one. Then when I got home I reviewed the receipt and found out I was charged $17.99 and not $14.99. I went back to Shoppers to check it again and I missed to read the expiry date of $14.99 price was yesterday, October 14th. If I may suggest to please make sure the discounted price is removed at the end of the day of October 14th (expiry date) so that customer like me will not be a victim of your mistakes! Thank you.

This place is horrible and un organize

Incompetent pharmacy staff. They constantly tell me that my diabetic meds are not in stock. Then when I start to complain and ask how can that be.they suddenly have them. Every. Single. Time.
I stopped going to drop off prescriptions, now get my doctor to fax them over and started calling to arrange pick up times, since it now takes them HOURS fulfilling even the simplest preboxed items. Even after a six hour wait, they constantly tell me that I am lost in their system, they were too busy to fill it and that it will be another 15-45 min wait. Unbelievable.
I am more than patient, polite and accommodating. But this is ridiculous and if I do much as ask questions about their current stock, they are rude and bit*chy with me. One male pharmacist has hung up on me for asking how long will the wait be for my meds to come into stock! The younger ladies working there are all snarky and rude.
My doctor usually prescribes diabetic meds three months at a time and they CONSTANTLY try to fill them all up front for an enormous charge up front. Hello.customer service please! It costs NOTHING to be kind to your clients. Horrible and I plan to take my good business somewhere else. Done. I am done being treated like garbage at the Kingsland Shoppers.

I ordered a refill and I was being told I will be called when the refill is ready, if more than 15 days I am following up and according to the pharmacist I spoke with, my Doctor did not reply, I ask if they don't call the client when they don't receive response from the Doctor? And she rudely say, call your Doctor they are getting paid to fax us back.and She hang up. Very rude!

Both the pharmacy and store have a great group of friendly staff that serve their customers well. I've been going to this pharmacy for years and have not once had anything but pleasant experiences. I recommend it.

Absolutely terrible pharmacy! Rude, incompetent, unorganized and they treat people like we are fortunate to be allowed to have them fill our prescriptions. From the owner down, easily the worst “pharmacy” I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Save your sanity and go elsewhere!

The pharmacist lady helping me book a vaccine was beyond rude and was not polite at all. Don’t get your vaccine here.

Very rude pharmacist when I called this morning regarding COVID vaccination. Terrible customer service. WOW. Sad that customer that needs some help calling your pharmacy, and they get on the phone with this rude and unfriendly person. She should really have a bit better manners. I called on Jun 21 @ 10: 30AM. She hang up the phone before I even had the chance to say thank you or ask anything else.terrible rude staff. Terrible.

The pharmacy staff is really rude and keen to put the phone down. Called enquiring about something and the lady replied curtly and put the phone down before I could even ask a question on where else I can check. I thought Chinook Pharmacy was bad, this branch is even worst. Pharmacy staff needs training in customer service and how to actually help clients!

The pharmacy who answered the phone yesterday was terribly rude. I called for covid 19 test booking and said not available for any day and keep forcing me to go other shoppers drug mart even this one is like 1 minute away from where I live. She shouldn't work like that. That was very unprofessional and you don't get to choose work that you want or not if Shoppers agreed to do test in their pharmacy, you gotta do it.

I had facing an issue in regards to my medication. The pharmacist lady who answered hung up on me before I could even explain my situation. I couldn't believe it.

I called in to see if they could bridge the gap during this time with a prescription as my GP has moved out of Calgary. Not only was the lady I spoke to in the pharmacy pleasant and empathetic, she was also extremely informed. I have been coming to this pharmacy for a couple of years and I could not recommend it more.

Awful experience with an East Indian pharmacy tech and her unwarranted, judgemental opinion about my wife's choice not to get the flu shot. In my opinion, her actions were very unethical and unprofessional. I would say the owner should look into this kind of misdemeanor from the staff as it could fuel trouble.

This shoppers is a gem. The staff here is great and the pharmacists are very knowledgeable. It is so incredibly convenient to have it in such close proximity to your home. You simply can't beat the value to convenience ratio this store has. 711 and all other convenience stores don't have anything on shoppers

Been coming to this location for a few months now and have put up with moody staff and bad costumer service. Last straw happened tonight.wont get into detail but wow I have never experienced worse costumer service.bitter, rude and unsympathetic employees.
