Excellent staff at this Shoppers! Go see Melanie in the Beauty department, and I say that as a man, she helped me out with skin care products for my face, made a MASSIVE difference to how my skin feels!
All of the staff, from the pharmacists (I use another pharmacy, so I’ve had limited interactions with the pharmacists, but I’ve had some…) but especially all the hard working ladies that run the Post Office, the other departments, to the people who cash you out are always so incredibly friendly, helpful, and will gladly go out of their way to let you know how to save money without you having to even ask!
It’s a great store to have on the corner for all your quick shopping needs, as well as a quick stop pharmacy for strep testing or advice from a health care professional. I highly recommended this Shoppers Drug Mart!
Made an appointment with the pharmacist to get my daughter's COVID vaccinations but he is obviously too busy and letting us sit here wait (looking at him busy away). What's the point of making an appointment if you are not going to honor it? Knowing that it's a kid taking her shots, letting her wait to a point where she ask "papa, is it supposed to be like this? " Is just unprofessional and borderline unethical.
ALL THE OTHER POST WITH MORE THEN ONE STAR ARE EMPLOYIES OR BOTS ALMOST KILLED MY SON GAVE WRONG INSOLIN AND ASUURED ME WAS SAME WENT TO HOSPITAL TO CHECK WAS ACTUALLY FOR TEENS ALSO WILL NOT REFUND THEIR MISTAKE NEVER AGAIN. THIS IS WHY WE NEED NEGATIVE REVIEWS MINUS 5 STARS WOULDNT EVEN BE ENOUGH
Shareen at the pharmacy is so good, friendly, professional and knowledgeable - been seriously thinking about switching pharmacies from the NE to this branch.
Very rude unhelpful pharmacy staff, i am native and they were very rude to me they wouldn't even help me, the lady pharmacist told me they don't have time to serve me to come back later and i was the only one at the counter, she was also very rude to my sister as well. I will never come to this shoppers again.
The service people don’t know anything about their own point system and were super rude. I left my stuff at the till and walked out after receiving terrible service at the checkout.
This review is purely for the Canada Post office at this location. I received a notice to pick up my parcel. When I attended I was informed that the parcel would not be ready until the next day. Knowing that the Canada Post truck is off loading the parcel anyways I thought I would ask if at all possible for them to look for the package while I was there so I would not have to come back the next day. The elderly service woman who was speaking with me asked if I was "from the land". I did not understand and asked what she meant and she said the reserve. I would like to plane as day inform everyone reading this that I am Chinese. I was born in Hong Kong, China. That said, I do not understand why a question like that would even be asked in 2019. What difference does it make where you're from when picking up your mail? As a visable minority I am deeply concerned that this Shoppers Drug Mart employs staff with segregational views. Aside from this review I will most certainly be trying my hardest to speak face to face with the store manager regarding this very offensive encounter. To all who are of visable minority, I would caution your patronage to this Shoppers Drug Mart post office.
When I am forced to use the Canada Post in the back to pick up a package, I have to hold my breath when walking through the door. The layout of this Shoppers forces you to walk through the perfume section in order to enter the store. There is only one entrance. The smell is strong and overwhelming. It causes me a headache almost instantly. Combining this unpleasant experience with outrageous prices for essentials like baby supplies and grocery items, Shoppers makes me gag in more than one way.
