The staff here are amazing. Helpful and welcoming. The pharmacy is one of Edmonton’s best. Staff back there are always so nice and friendly.

I loveee coming here. I make sure to come here every weekend! This store closes at 12 am as well so I can make it here any time, whether I have work or not which is a huge plus because I get off work late sometimes. Sometimes I don't even buy anything and I just browse. My favorites' thing to do here is to look at the self-care products including cleansers, moisturizers, perfumes and much more. Their perfume section is huuuuge.

Terrible consultants in the beauty section. You would think some training would be provided on how to match foundations to skin colour. Of course the foundation that the girl insisted was my true colour can’t be returned. It was a huge waste of $48 plus s tax, so I can look like a Dorito. It was very hard to get service as well in that
department, the two beauty counter women were chatting so I finished the rest of my shopping and came back. They were still socializing and I decided to ask for help anyway, the girl that helped me was very rude and very disinterested in helping me. I won’t shop there again for beauty products or perfume ever again. Very negative experience.

Selena and Irene were absolutely great! I walked in for 2 items walked out with 7 items that I didn’t know I needed! Very helpful and sweet women, gave me great customer service and I’ll definitely will be going back again! Best shoppers beauty boutique

The beauty associate Jana was super sweet! I was looking at Kylie lip products, trying to decide between a few and she went above and beyond to help me pick out which shade looks best on me. The lighting in the beauty boutique is horrendous so she helped me swatch the products — on her own hand too so I didn’t have to get any product on my hands.

She even made sure to double check if I could return it if I hated my purchase.

Will definitely be coming back here for future makeup purchases! Thank you!

Ignored by cosmetics department upon entry, then blatantly ignored when we asked for help from staff while seeking perfumes.

Once a staff member finally acknowledged us as we were trying to find the desired gifts for family, we were treated like thieves.

The moment she approached, she began reaching into the cart, forgoing any standard greetings until after she'd reached in. At this point she finally stated, "can I help you. " She then insisted we "hand over everything" we'd placed into our cart for "safe keeping, you know, just in case. " Her actions immediately put us into defense mode, due to her poorly masked accusations.

She then followed us around the store. After we completed payment with her - for all items she'd removed from the cart and the remainder we'd selected under the extremely close attention of other staff. Upon our exit, she reprinted the receipt & stared at us as we loaded our car and returned the cart to the store.

This unprofessional treatment is atrocious, was unwarranted, and is frankly disgusting. As past retail managers of larger stores, we were unimpressed.

Avoid this location.

If you need to go to SDM, go further south to the location on 137 ave and 97 street where you will be able to get help from terrific staff that are extremely kind and knowledgeable!

This is a good drugstore. Helpful and I have never had issues here. They also have a few products that some of the other Shoppers nearby don't have.

Manager was extremely helpful and did an exchange for a new size of diapers for my granddaughter even though I had no receipt and no idea where they had been bought but Shoppers carried the same brand and style so he happily exchanged them for me. I’ve been coming to this location for years and always get excellent customer service. Thank-you!

Amazing experience dealing with ANNA in the fragrance department. She was very sweet, soft spoken and patient in my dealings with her as she recommended me products to purchase for my wife. She provided me with an effortless experience by going above and beyond to help me with my purchase. Thank you Anna for your help today!

Was definitely discriminated against at this location and at other Shoppers Drug Mart locations. Maybe it's because I don't dress and look like money, maybe it's because I'm mixed race Caucasian/Hispanic and it's become racial. Not %100 sure why it's happening. Every time I go looking for makeup, everyone is suddenly right there trying to help me, but if a well dressed white lady walks in looking for makeup she is LEFT ALONE TO GO THROUGH THE MAKEUP AISLE! The people that work in make up are just rotten to the core.

Irene in the boutique was awesome. Helped me find the perfect cologne for me and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience with her. One of the most genuine individuals and you could tell she loves helping customers; goes above and beyond.

Pharmacy staff are so inconsiderate only one lady there that ever helps me and that’s the young lady pharmacist the others are judgmental and inconsiderate they need to be reassessed!

I had a very bad experience with the staff name Tamara K.at the cosmetic She had a very bad behavior and bad attitude. She was so rude and made a comment on my purse that it is big but nothing in it. And when I pulled out my card she seemed anoyed. Even my young daughter who is with me don't understand her conduct. I will definitely not shop in that place anymore. My friends are so furious after I told this.

Do not waste your time going here for a ‘walk in’ Covid shot. Either go some place else or book an appointment.
Could be like me, promised they had enough, wait TWO hours, then say they miscounted and the only have one dose.

All while I had our 6.5month old son with us.
Pharmacy never had any orders ready either when people were told to come in and pick up.
^ heard a lot in our two hours of waiting around.

I really enjoy going to this shopper's drug mart. They have everything. And by everything, I mean everything.

It's nice when you walk in, you are hit with nice perfumes. So get ready for good smells

Very easy to get to, just of 97 st. Lots of parking. Staff are always helpful. The pharmacy is great. Always check the flyer as you get some good deals.

I find the staff at the pharmacy to be incredibly insensitive and rude. Why they think it’s appropriate to ask personal questions in front of a long line up of people and crowd of customers waiting for vaccines I will never understand!

I’ve had to pick up prescriptions at this location twice. And asked the pharmacist on shift for help suggesting a medication. All 3 times I’ve been to this location I’ve felt the person taking my prescription or the pharmacist going over my medication with me to be very loud when talking about my perscription or asking personal questions they didn’t need to know to fill the medication.
The time I asked for help to find an over the counter medication I was treated like a child with no understanding of my own body.

I will be changing pharmacies for sure.

I gave 2 starts because the saving grace in this pharmacy is a lovely lady named Lynn! Lynn thank you for your discretion and your friendly demeanour! You are a breath of fresh air!

I had issues with the griesbach location so I headed over to this location and the cosmetics manager, Tamara, was super helpful and very friendly. She was able to help me when the griesbach location refused to. Thanks again Tamara for all your help!

Went into the store and was immediately followed by someone. I immediately asked her why she was following me as I didn’t have a backpack ect. I was looking for a specific pair with a light on them I had called another location and they said they had them. She told me she was the OWNER and they don’t have that specific pair. I told her I would like to look because I had seen them before that’s why I called. She followed me being super rude I was going to cry. To make her more confortable I told her about my current medical condition to try to make her feel more comfortable and make small talk. I found the pair I was looking for she said they didn’t carry and she SNATCHED them from my basket and said she would keep them behind the counter. I told her she was making me uncomfortable and other people around us looked and she started berating me -she made fun of my medical condition and said I shouldn’t share it with people because it made her uncomfortable then she kicked me out. I paid my $200 bill in cash as I got several pairs of expensive tweezers and makeup. Worst experience of my life.

I was followed by the female security guard right when I walked in through the doors. I was even polite and said hi to her when I entered the store. I was wearing a baseball cap and my purse was small so I don’t understand why she felt the need to follow me all the way through, right up until i checked out. Super aggravating. Will not be returning to this location because of that.

I got followed all around the store all the way up to me walking out with my purchases by security all because I wore a backpack. It made me feel intimidated and like I was not welcome- I will not be returning.

The owner here is a not only malicious and rude, she profiles customers based on their appearance making comments on what they can / can not afford. I had a terrible experience here and have my receipt I spent $216 there and would have spent more but I had to leave she was making me uncomfortable and I told her that. And she told me I was making HER uncomfortable.by shopping in her store.

I always love this shoppers. Firstly they are open so late. I can pick up whatever I want in the middle of the night which is awesome for those day I cannot sleep. The service is great and they pharmacy also provides naloxone kits which is great for those who have some training with overdose patients. The store is always kept clean and often you can find some pretty good deals. Also, I was grateful to know that they would honour a sale even though it was posted after the sale was over. They did a price match for me. Such excellent service!

A while back I would have given 5 stars because the pharmacy used to be so great. I cannot believe how down hill it has gone. I’m quite sensitive so when one of the new people there were rude and gave me attitude I actually left cause I was gonna start crying. I call my prescriptions in as it is difficult for me most times to actually physically go there to fill them and have to wait for them so I call them in so I don’t have to wait as I am not well a lot of the time. More than twice in the few months I have gone there and have been told that they never even processed it when I had called it in a week ago and was told it would be ready in a few days! You can’t at least call me to tell me there is an issue or to tell me you’re not going to fill it? So I have to come in expecting to get my prescription when I am not feeling well and it is not even there! So I had to force myself out of bed when I was not feeling well for literally no reason at all because they never even filled the prescription even though I called it in a week in advance. I also cannot believe that a pharmacy store of all places doesn’t have a public bathroom! People with many different types of illnesses go there for their prescriptions, including people with stomach problems who may need a bathroom suddenly.

I used to love the people working at the pharmacy, but no the service has gone down hill so much. Dealt with an African American girl who was the rudest person I have ever encountered. I don’t even know how she has a job there. Disgusting.
