I swatched a clearly already opened lipstick on my hand, and a middle aged canadian lady abruptly came up to me and said "give it to me" I asked why and she said "you opened it, now I have to take it" I was very surprised and explained that it was already opened. This exchange was unfortunate, as I was actually going to buy it, but her very rude demeanor made me no longer interested in buying. I went to a different isle and heard the lady sigh very loudly and mutter something under her breath. I hope this lady reflects that even if she is in a bad mood, she should not take it out on other strangers or customers.

I love going to this #shoppers IF you are looking for makeup and/or skin care, I recommend that you go see Gemma. She is so kind, straight shooter, knowledgeable, and remembers you. These qualities are what I, personally, appreciate. She is why I keep coming back. She makes you feel like a friend rather than a sale.

There are a few others as well that I find to be caring and go the little extra that let's you know they value you and are willing to help you.

If you have mobility issues, there is one young lady that works the front cash who will insist that you leave your cart outside and she will bring it in. To see such compassion for people who can benefit from something like that is warming.

The ONLY reason I have given them 4 stars is because they are a bit smaller, so they don't have as big of a selection as some others Shoppers.

Their electronic section is top-notch, and by far the biggest I've come across out of the numerous Shoppers I have been to. Please do not change this!

My teenage daughter went to this store today excited to spend some of her birthday money. She was then followed around aggressively through multiple aisles by two female employees that stood 6 feet away until, after 5 minutes of this unprofessional behavior, one of them walked up and accused her of stealing a tester lipstick. Needless to say she walked away scared on what should have been a fun birthday weekend. The $200+ my family spends here every month will also be going elsewhere.

Staff are super helpful. They can speak mandarin and Cantonese. And would inform you of any promotions to help you collect points

Stock ladies very rude. Beauty boutique staff very friendly. Young cashiers also very sweet. All the older ladies miserable all the time!

Zero customer service. I went to the Beacon Hill Shoppers Drug mart for a passport photo around 11: 45 am today. I was told the person taking the photo was taking a half hour break. I went back around 2: 20 in the afternoon and was told that she was taking a lunch break and will be back around 2: 45. I don't think that it is reasonable that there is nobody else who is able to cover during breaks. This is not a great way to keep customers.

Thank you to the wonderful prescribing pharmacist who filled my emergency medication supply. You are a true community pharmacy helping it members. The pharmacist was Juanita. Thank you again!

Worst experience ever at the canada post here, strongly recommend going to the symons valley one instead

My husband bought me 3 books from Shoppers, I had already read one, so with a receipt I went back the next day to exchange the book. The cashier (after talking to her supervisor) informed me books are final sale. I told her there is no sign in the book area that says final sale nor on the receipt. I looked up the return policy online and could not see anything about books. Phoned the store to talk to the manager and was put on hold, waited 5 minutes and called back, turns out the manager was not in until tomorrow! Called head office and it turns out each Shoppers can set their own return policies. With this new info, I will be taking my business elsewhere as I don’t know what their policies are.

I just return the Meta Mucil, you sell @ 30.44 for 1 Bottle, Costco is also selling same size Meta Mucil @ 30.44 but 2 Bottles.

You guy's must improve customer experience.

The employees are usually ok one lady is very nice but I haven't seen her in a while
Your store needs a payment method upgrade because I can only use cash I am limited to use the cashier not the self checkout because there's no cash option unlike any other self check out I have been to
It's a very rare occurrence that I'm not standing in line for a simple purchase for 10 min or more
I don't see how scan scan payment is such a hard concept to grasp it's not the employees it's your system or the unconscious people paying

The pharmacy at this store is infuriating, they don’t seem to care that some of their customers have medication they NEED to take on a daily basis & their urgency to get it filled is non existent. I shouldn’t have to call multiple times to confirm my refill is actually ready before coming to pick it up. When I call one time that should be more than enough to know I *for sure* want my meds.

Pharmacy here is great. Staff are efficient and organized. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help answer questions about prescriptions or over the counter products. Always had a good experience.

My partner and I went to get flu shots. I'm consistently exposed to sick children and he transports ICU patients. We were told they wouldn't give us flu shots and that we should try somewhere in the NE. This location offers walk-ins. Just because we aren't 70 doesn't mean we don't need a flu shot.

The lady at the beauty boutique was so rude. She didnt greet us, she didnt listen to my questions and spoke rudely to us. The security guard had to repeat my questions to that lady and helped answer most of them. If i could rate her less than one star i would. She should definitely think about a job not involving customer service.

I was just racially profiled by the security guard at the Beacon Hills Shoppers Drug Mart. I stopped by on my way from work to pick up an early birthday gift for myself from the fragrance department. I was talking to the associate/beautician who helped me explore a few fragrance option. I actually had to call the attention of the two beauticians who were busy talking. Fair enough they didn’t notice me initially, I wasn’t bothered by this. I noticed the security guard was standing there. When I went to pay, he left where he was previously standing at and then stood by the till with the two beauticians, not sure why but didn’t think much of this. After paying I decided to proceed to the pharmacy area to pick up some vitamins. He appeared from nowhere to close the security barriers by the exit which is where the vitamins were. He stood there for about a minute perhaps thinking I may dash out through that exit. This exit appears to be an emergency exit as all customers enters and exits through the main entrance.

I noticed this and then left proceeding to go pay for my merchandise and I noticed again that he was following me and stood by the front end while I paid for my merchandise and then I left the store.

See I’m a person of color and I take offence to this kind of treatment. I feel that I was targeted by the security guard because there were other customers and I didn’t see him following them around. There was absolutely no reason why I should have been treated this way. I did not act suspicious nor would I have acted in a manner to deserve this unbelievable and completely outrageous service.

I’m utterly disappointed and disgusted that customers are treated as thieves by your staff.

Best experience I've ever had receiving a needle. So kind and patient and had a few laughs too, although this location is not the greatest at answering the phone.

The staff at the prescriptions counter told me that they would have my prescription ready in 20 minutes after I told them I was in a hurry. It took them close to 45 minutes to do it. The pharmacist did everything but prepare it, she went to the back and started talking on the phone

Long lines at the check out. Canada Post staff are friendly yet I've had a package go missing from this location, and they weren't able to track it down.

I have been a dedicated client at this Shoppers Drug Mart.
Today, I was very disappointed. I had a return a product that I realized I was 30 days over but, firstly, I was out of town, secondly, I was extremely sick. When I felt normal enough, I tried the product which didn't suit me. The most expensive eye cream was making my eyes water like crazy.
The manager. Crystal along with her assistant Irene (who I had bought all my products from) didn't bother to greet me or help me. When I approached the manager, Crystal, she was quite rude and everything she said to me was with a mocking laugh. While, I was speaking to Crystal, Irene, who should have been doing her task barged in with her opinion. At that point I told Irene, I was speaking to Crystal and no her.
This clearly the tells me how the staff at Beacon Hill Shoppers Drug are. I am a retired woman and treated myself to an expensive product on a high recommendation from your staff Irene.
I have noticed none of the comestic staff at this Shoppers have a smile on their staff. Must stem from the manager in my opinion.
This Shoppers has certainly lost my business and hopefully many others who read the embarrassment I was put through today.

Extremely poor experience with returns.when i went to return an item i was told at another store that i can do it withoit the receipt.but this store told me i cant. The assistant manager said that this is the store policy.simply no focus on cust exp.not coming here ever again.
If ur reps are just there for transactions.simply put a bot or auto pay carts.or remove these stores.at least this will save the company the reputation

Staffs didn't even know what they were talking about, giving false information, mislead me multiple times.

A drug store in Beacon Hill Calgary. They sell products such as perfume, food, medicine, toothbrushes and more. Service was average nothing to write home about.

You know what I find to be the ultimate disrespect? When I have my hand out to receive my change and it's thrown on the counter at me from the pharmacist. Usually the lady I deal with there is so pleasant but this guy, not once but twice, after I passed him my cash threw the change on the counter!

Had Shania as my cashier, she was extremely hyper running around. Might be considered good energy if she wasn’t extremely rude and ignorant as well. Ive been coming to the store for years, it’s a nicely maintained store but I do hope they let go any rude staff members

Pharmacy intern too slow or either don't know what they are doing. It takes over one hour to get kids medication. Employ competent people please.
