I recently moved to acadia & frequently come to the shoppers drug mart. I’m really impressed with the pharmacy, today when I was there, the pharmacist asked me do you carry a naloxone kit? It almost brought me to tears, in a good way! The pharmacist wouldn’t have asked this if he didn’t see the importance of carrying one & after loosing someone extremely important to me from overdose and also working a job in addictions I was so impressed that he went out of his way to ask that. He also put a bunch of kits out for people to just take. Good work! Not all hero’s wear capes:)

Went to pharmacy on Aug 28th for prescription, I was told it is not available will order and pick up tomorrow. I asked the price of medicine $55/I was told. Next Day I went to pick up I was charged $77.99, when I said I was told $55 yesterday the pharmacy just said I know. Did not explained how to take medicine and what does it will be, I had to ask. What a rip off. I will never recommend that pharmacy.

We recently went to this place for some fragrances. This lady named STAR was very kind and helpful. She was thorough and has very good personality. It was great!

Booked a COVID Booster for myself and my 9 year old daughter through AHS that chose this pharmacy as it had both the Moderna I needed and supposedly the Vaccine my daughter needed. Nice lady pharmacist asks out loud if they had any vaccine for my daughter and very rude male pharmacist (with dark curly hair, don’t care to know his name) blurts out “We don’t have any! ”. Then I say “Why would…” he then interrupts and says in a snotty tone “Just because you booked doesn’t mean we have any”. I then decide that furthering this conversation is not going to go well in front of my 9 year old daughter, clutching her support penguin, who has been preparing herself for 3 days for this shot. Nice lady pharmacist try’s to apologize, I walk away.
Check your attitude pharmacist guy! If you can’t speak to the public in a productive manner you’re in the wrong line of work. Never going back! Apologies to the nice staff but that BS was NOT acceptable.

I was sent a gift with purchase promotion and made my way from Airdrie to Calgary only to find that noone from the cosmetics department had an idea of this promotion. I showed them the email I was sent and they still never honored the promotion. I returned twice to the store but after almost an hour in total of waiting, I left empty handed. What horrible disorganization and awful customer service.

So I bought a 19.99 fragrance a couple days ago, I came to return, it was unopened, still with its alarm tag, and it cannot be returned, manager stated those are final sales, although no body explained this at moment of purchase, nor even a sign stating this policy. I lost 20 dollars, thanks:) shoppers!

This is a good shoppers with great staff except for the pushy and frankly extremely inconsiderate PC optimum sales guy. We walked in to fill a prescription and saw a woman trying to deal with her wailing toddler and the guy would not stop trying to push it on her when she was clearly stressed in the situation. Read the room. We were then filling the prescription and talking with the pharmacist when he came up and interrupted us mid confidential conversation- absolutely ridiculous. Then as we were trying to leave he tried to corner us again. We hid between the isles trying to come up with the game plan to get out of there without getting stopped again. We wanted to shop more but could not get over how pushy and rude he was. Please do better. His presence and having someone try and push people that hard and not respect no, or boundaries, is going to lose you business. We were honestly appalled.

The second you walk in a very pushy salesman will follow you through the store and try to sell you their PC optimum credit card while talking very fast in an attempt to confuse you into signing up, I wouldn't shop here if you want any privacy or to be left alone while purchasing your items.

I always leave things to the last minute. I went to Shoppers needing make up stuff. I hate shopping for make up stuff. The young woman that helped me was great! She gave me some samples of a spectacular perfume. I will be back tomorrow purchase it.

I have lived in the neighborhood and shopped at this store for years without issue until little over a week ago I had a horible customer service experience.   I purchased a $100 Sony playstation card and when I got it home it didn't work.   So I look at my receipt and my receipt says I purchased a Canadian tire card and all sorts of thing don't match from my receipt, my activation slip and the actual card.   So I take eveirythk to the store twice to try to get the situation resolved and the manager on duty refused to do anything and did everything to get me out the door without doing anything to help.   I contacted Shoppers customer service who had me email copies of everything to them.   Case # 12652827.   I have yet to hear back.    So I can't recommend shopping here, if you have an issue you will be treated like a theft and ignored.

Amazing selection of grocery and drug store fare including toiletries and greeting cards! Lots of pet supplies and school supplies as well. Self serve checkout. Good customer service; will call you a cab if you need one! Postal office on site.

So this is our local neighbourhood shop. We go there for our medications, but also run to grab milk and other essentials. I don't find the food products to over priced. The pharmacy team is lovely. In fact all the staff is, from those who work the post office to the beauty section to the cashiers.

The staff working in Canada Post in this location gave me a very poor service. I even paid more than the amount of my express RTS mail than the previous. It should have been free of charge. If only I can give a zero rating or a negative rating she deserved.

Got a Rapid Antigen test here for travel, no appointment required, staff was super nice and got the test done right away.

I just suggest this store staff need more training. Passport photo section guys don't no clearly exactly what their work. They need more trying.

I had to wait 50 minutes standing at the pharmacy to get a travel PCR test although I’ve an appointment. The management need to solve the staff shortage issue!

Horrible customer service, leave you on the phone for 15 minutes, absolutely heartless when it comes to your family's needs.

If you can go ANYWHERE ELSE I mean any
ANYWHERE else that is highly recommend

Not to mention SHOPPERS (not this one) is so clueless they hire un educated persons whom do not check labels and has given my mother another person medicine. COMPLETELY UN PROFESSIONAL

I’ve dealt with that store for over a year now; always helpful staff & pharmacists showing genuine interest to provide service in accurate & time efficient manner, however on the weekend I was doing over the phone refill, I guess a newly hired or relief pharmacist named Haythem was debating that they won’t split my tabs as a service & I was trying to explain it’s only 8 tabs & I've always had it filled the way I requested, he kept arguing & then I told him if it ain’t possible to provide me with the service I’m requesting & paying for aka ‘Dispensing Fees’ then I’ll have it transferred to a different location if your rules have changed since the past month, he replied back that I’m threatening him! Called back in a couple of minutes & said the assistant won’t do it, you can go ahead & transfer it!

First I want to thank whomever replied back, second I would like to share my experience following that, but to make things clear no one what so ever did contact me from the pharmacy ever since. I had to wait till the weekend was over as the closest pharmacy was closed;I know that’s not something that concerns your staff not taking my meds for 2 days with the level of service provided;then I had all my prescriptions transferred, asked the pharmacist to split my pills, picked it up in 30 minutes, interesting enough the discussion I had with the pharmacist picking up my meds, he said that for meds that needs especial handling, pharmacies are equipped with especial trays & stuff to deal with those situations, also that the dispensing fees I’m paying includes such services, It ain’t a courtesy to provide me with the service I ask for & did thank me for bringing business to their location.that’s how hard working Canadians provide satisfactory HEALTH CARE services & how your #pharmacy manager deals with health care as a CASH COW.

Yesterday was the first time ever getting a prescription filled at Shoppers. Magdy was totally awesome, great service and thoroughly explained everything. Definitely in the top 1% of any pharmacists I've dealt with!

The mean old lady with coloured hair is very prejudiced against people of color I noticed. Also the female pharmacist with the Muslim rag covering her head, side's of face and bottom of chin is the worst pharmacist I have ever been serviced by. She is also extremely racist. She will belittle me every chance she gets. She refuses to give me my medication when it is due. Simply because she does not like my ethnicity. I literally have to call in to see if she's working just so I can avoid her and go later. The purple old lady and her work in cohoots in sabatoging my prescriptions. If they have to give me my prescriptions then they make me way an hour and a half.

I'm making a complaint this week on both of them!

I have been using this location for the pharmacy for a few years. I am a very patient person and understand that sometimes people make mistakes. Today is literally the last draw and we will be switching to another pharmacy. Issues in the past that have occurred include:

- not having enough pills in stock so I have to come back for the rest (THIS HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR ONE PRESCRIPTION - LITERALLY EVERY TIME I GET A REFILL). This is extremely frustrating because I only get a few pills and then have to go back and pick up the rest. And of course they make me pay for all of them before I even get the second batch. For example, today they gave me 14 pills and they OWE me 186. Yet I paid $68 for the entire prescription.

- Miscounting pills and shorting us over a months worth, which we did not realize until the bottle was getting low. Confronted staff and they said it could not possibly have been their mistake. So not only did I pay for pills I didn't get, I needed to fill sooner and they refused saying I must be taking too many because it is not time for a refill (only take 2/day).

- Vaccinations for flu done by a staff member who definitely was not confident and left the needle in the arm for approximately 5 - 10 seconds before injecting. It was a very awkward and unpleasant experience. Will never be getting vaccines done there again.

Not every experience has been bad, but I will say that at least 3/4 of the time there is some issue. After years of patience and understanding, we will finally be taking our business elsewhere.

I’ve been here on more than one occasion and find some staff warm and provide good service while others are not so great.

My last few visits have been great and I t he last one a pharmacy member went out of their way to provide a level of service that is rarely seen! Thank you
