Came in tonight Oct 25, Hettie was the front supervisor tonight. She is absolutely the rudest person I've ever met. I came in to buy a product advertised in their flyer, I confirmed they had stock before coming using their online website.

I stop by and apparently she is on her break so I wait 10 minutes. She then tells me she can't sell anything because she thinks it's behind some pallets of Xmas merchandise. I asked if there's anyway she can just check, because I drove 30 minutes and waited for over 10 minutes. NOPE, she won't sell anything. Really weird way to manage a retail store. I guess I understand why this store has a 2.7 with 1000 reviews!

Definitely my favorite post office! Simone is really nice and her customer service is great! She makes the moneygram process less tedious and she’s always kind.

Horrible customer service in beauty department, i visit here very often and all the staff in here is amazing, but today around evening we got the worst customer service from this girl black hair and medium height, takes one look and have very judgemental reaction, and talks very rudely, if i’m spending money i don’t need your judgment or rudeness, i’d rather do a self checkout or order online.i’d try to visit different time if day because all the other staff in beauty is lovely and i have had so many interactions with them every time i hv been there and loved it.

Pretty bad service from a very disorganized pharmacy team. Waited over 40 minutes to get a Covid booster shot. Was asked three times what I was there for. Had to repeat three times I was there for the COVID booster, and not the flu shot.

This store is a West Edmonton staple I always love going to this particular shoppers Drug mart because it has a lot of nostalgic to me because my parents used to go there when I was a kid I always loved shoppers drug Mart in Meadowlark and the staff are wonderful and very clean and up-to-date

Jackson is often working in the evening when I do my shopping there and he is the most pleasant, friendly guy working there. He is an asset to your store.

I would just like to add a positive note here as I see a swarm of negative reviews. I’ve been going to this pharmacy now for about 10 months, and to be honest at the beginning it was not the greatest in terms of wait times and some communication. It has improved tremendously though! Alex and Meg have been consistently pleasant and awesome to deal with. The care and concern they show for every single patient that I see come through there is always top notch and what you hope to experience when you are dealing with sensitive and private medical issues relating to your medications. Thank you to these guys for always making me feel looked after! There is another newer guy, unfortunately I don’t know his name to mention here, who is also super awesome. I don’t see him as often as I mostly only visit there the same day per week.

I have been getting my prescriptions here for years. The service used to be awesome. Now it is horrible. Can't ever get a person on the phone without waiting a million years. They never get my name right, probably because they always cut me off before I finish trying to spell it. They fill prescriptions that I don't need at the moment and then fight me every month to get the ones I do need. I go to pick up and they get mad because my pills are never in the drawer they think its in. But again, maybe if they didn't cut me off when I am trying to give them my name. They lose my prescriptions when my doctor sends them in. I have been left so many times having to go without my prescriptions because they can't get anything right. Then I am sick because I don't have my medications for a few days and my body needs them. Last time they were out of the generic brand and filled two prescriptions of the name brand name which is expensive. I only needed one injection kit but they charged me for two instead of one with two extra refills. Now I have two injection kits and the next time I need more they will give me the generic ones which don't need the kit because they come as auto injectors.

Horrible telephone service from the pharmacy they literally never answer their phone been trying to start my file there for 3 months and no one will answer. Leaving and Asthmatic without inhalers for 3 months is insane.

I had to get a couple of things from the Pharmacy yesterday evening, and a Pharmacist named Alex was super friendly and kind.

There’s also another female Pharmacist with long dark hair and glasses (don’t remember her name) who has been consistently great to deal with. Derrick, another Pharmacist (and Owner) has been good to deal with as well. The positive customer service/ interpersonal exchanges are very much appreciated!

An odd experience yesterday: While I was perusing the aisles, the lady working in the cosmetics department had her phone perched-up on one of the shelves while she was having a personal conversation on speaker, so that all could hear. She was speaking in English and I believe Tagalog. I didn’t feel comfortable shopping in that area, so I left for another department.

Overall though, I have had mostly good and positive experiences whilst shopping here.

Reading the reviews and i've oddly have had good experiences at the post office there but all thanks to the newer employees.

Review of post office:

They have this one horrid employee (really short hair sometimes dyed blond or purple) very condescending and just obnoxious. My best moment that i will treasure was letting her know she was wrong. If anyone one here knows who I'm referring to she has this "know it all" vibe that's just so nauseating.

I was sending a package abroad and the price for the shipping was expensive (Canada Post can be the worst) so i said I have a plan i think if i send two packages dividing the items it will be cheaper shipping. The annoying staff was, like clockwork, like no it will be the same and i said try it - knowing that what's happening is if its in one package I'm obviously over the tiered system for shipping and i could add more items for that price but i don't have more items so in this case it's better to send it as two small packages. My shipping basically went from $70 dollars to two small packets each at $20 dollars so I saved $30 dollars. Watching this normally obnoxious employee go oh was icing on the cake- i can't stand her that much.

The pharmacy Is very slow, there is only 2 people that actually know what they are doing. The rest are rude and could care less about helping and making the customer happy. Been getting prescriptions filled there for 6 months now and everytime I have to argue with them about refills, it takes 2+ weeks for them to get a fax from my doctor because they aren't doing their job. Never had so many issues with a pharmacy before. And for their delivery service, every. Single. Time. They forget stuff and when I call them to let them know, I get a rude lady that will say, that's not my fault, I can't help and will literally hang up the phone on me making me call back. Then I will have to go there to pick up the stuff they forgot and be welcomed with a snotty attitude by the same lady. I switched pharmacies and have not had these issues at all since. I wouldn't go here unless your just doing a normal shop.

I come here for makeup, perfume, post office, and superstore brand snacks. Have never had an issue with staff, the elderly post office lady looks like she might give you a peace of her mind but she’s actually quite sweet and friendly.

Seems they have abandoned answering the phone. Been playing a game this morning to see how many times it ring before they hang up and I call back.

EDIT: no one needs your empty platitudes and I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say you can stuff it with your hotline.

Let me get this straight, my complaint is that shoppers has terrible customer service over using the phone. And your solution is to phone them.

Tyical tone deaf response from a corporation that checked out years ago.

Why are these things in every shopping centre? Terrible places to even enter, would never even go apart from the post office which could be replaced with an industrial box with a scale. I hope this place goes out of business.

I went shopping at shoppers drugmart meadowlark location last Friday October 1,2021. There was a huge line up although there were three cashiers at the front. I realized later on that the customers at the tills HAD tons of stuffs in their carts AND had lots of coupons. Would you believe three cashiers were helping customers with tons of coupons. Cashiers even asked cosmetics for helping cash out. After an hour of waiting in line, that lady customer with tons of coupons told me to go cash out at cosmetics in a very rude manner. (Who is she to tell me that?) I only have 5 items and she didn't even allow me to be cashed out first before loading her tons of shampoos, body soaps, cleaning stuffs. The cashier was reading the back of the coupon "one coupon per transaction" but that mean customer argued with her, that in other shoppers they accept all coupons in one transactions. Poor cashiers for dealing this couponers. I'm wondering why these people get a whole bunch of different coupons. I DON'T UNDERSTAND Why would shoppers meadowlark location tolerate couponers. You should also think of the customers who wanted to be cashed out asap. To give a good customer service we need to be helped right away and not to wait in a long line up. I have shop at another shoppers (jasper gates, webber greens, downtown and at Terra losa) but they don't have long line up because they don't accept tons of coupons. If I'm not mistaken 4 coupons at most. This has always been the condition of this store every Friday. LONG LINE UP BECAUSE OF THESE COUPON LADIES. I LEARNED THAT THEY WERE PHILIPPINE NATIONALS.

Online buyer beware. I purchase Stila eye shadow online. It was no longer solid when I received it. I went to one Shoppers that didn't carry it so I had to go to Meadowlark. I showed my order confirmation email and the cosmetic cashier said I needed a receipt. I got one and returned a week later - this is 1/2 hour from my house. The same cashier looked at the receipt and then determined they didn't have the product either. There was no bar code on the actual product so she told me she wouldn't do anything about it. She then called Kelsey M - the manager and explained the situation. Kelsey asked her to check the date and they determined I was less that 24 hours late to return it prior to the 30 days. I was told I could drive back AGAIN the next day to meet with the manager OR I could mail it back. There was literally no service here - not once did anyone mention - oh by the way you have to do this before 30 days, oh by the way don't come here because we actually don't have the product either, zero help. Besides Heddie, I would not bother shopping here if you need anything other than a toothbrush. Such a huge company such a huge disappointment!

They aren't very professional, when they answer the phone. They sound impolite obviously lack of training. I'm talking about my bad experience with the customer service and even dropped the phone after talking to me twice, so rude. MEADOWLARK

I had called here to ask about the availability of the second dose of the 'COVID-19' vaccine, but the lady I initially spoke with seemed like she couldn't hangup fast enough. Pretty unprofessional. After a while, I called again, and the gentleman who worked at the pharmacy that I spoke with was not only professional, but very friendly and excited to help me learn about the availabililty. Very appreciated! Thanks! I usually get ho-hum, decent service here overall otherwise.

I seriously think they ignore their phone lines! Always waiting on hold then I have to call back so many times and it’s the same cycle! Only one pharmacist is awesome the rest, not so much.others are always so mean and grumpy when they get a little busy.totally changing my pharmacy!

I love shopping at this Shopper Drug Mart that is located at the intersection of Whyte Avenue and 109 Street. They have all what you need, groceries, post office, cosmetics, and pharmacy. I had a very good experience with the pharmacy, I went at midnight to get a medication for my kid and even after closing at 12 am they helped me get what I need.

The concept of customer service is lost on these people. Just one of the employees actually cares about the customer. They will give you blank stares at simple questions and like today just wander off without a word. Bets part of that is THEY EXPECT YOU TO LIKE IT! You will get NO apology from them. In the owners life you are held to a standard his staff are not held to. The Safeway nearby is a far more customer friendly pharmacy

Staffs at sdm meadowlark are friendly despite the chaos all over the city, they were able to serve their customers with hospitality and great smiles.kudos to all of them & especially to the people in the post office, they're the busiest actually with the holiday season but still very knowledgeable and helpful!

Went to Shoppers Drug Mart. Saw a friendly happy dog sitting patiently for his owner in their car.
Shoppers Drug Mart had butter on sale. Instead of $4.25 this weekend it was only $2.99 each.
Store was clutter free, easy to find other items as well, and very helpful friendly staff. Will definitely recommend this store over most other Shoppers.

I went there today and hoping i can return or exchange the BP apparatus i bought from yesterday reason its defective. The lady who was in the counter around 10: 00 Am is very intimating. I do understand that there is covid epedemic and the store has the sign policy of no return no exchange but why she seems so angry lots of people lost there job no income because of covid and she is not helpful at all no empathy no compassion for people. She just tell me no "refund no exhange thats it" I tried to speak and ask more but she is scary. She don't bother to suggest anything to help maybe refer to manager or whatever i already lost S80.00 because i cannot return the items and you can encounter person like that i will not come back there again poor customer service.

I called to this place around 4: 30 pm April 27,2020 to refill my prescription. A lady answered the phone and ask her if I can order my meds. And she tell me that my insurance terminated my premiums, so I ask her how much each refill cost and she and then since I don't have the insurance I ask her if the innovo cares help and she said no.because that is not an insurance. Then I told her I know but I can get a discount right and then she said let me check in annoying voice. Then she said yes you have to pay $22.00 instead of $51.00, in annoying voice then I ask her how much will I pay for all my prescription meds.then she answered I told you already the price of each but I did not get. Can you total please. I said then she hang up the phone. This pharmasist is too rude I am asking her name but she never give me. This lady is unprofessional. She is yelling with me over the phone and I am'very nice to her.

Just bought a knee sleeve for my mom yesterday. I asked at the till if it could be returned if it didn't fit. Today tried to return and they said no. I understand the reason but poor customer service. Maybe mentor your staff and not make your customer feel like they were lying. People make mistakes but there was not even an offer to make it right.

Worst post office clerk. Unfortunately all my parcels get sent there by default as it's closer. Lady is not only rude everytime but also this time she gave me somebody else's parcel because she was busy talking. I didn't realize until I opened it to find something I never bought. That's when I checked the address on parcel. She not only didn't apologize but rudely asked me to bring the parcel back and told me how it's ok because it happens as if I was making issue out of something not worth her time.

Indignant attitude, unhelpful, and demeaning Pharmacist or Pharm tech. Male guy with beard wearing a burgundy dress top.

Yelling out my information for everyone to hear, yelling at me because of a prescription I've filled before has a minor instructional change, and demeaning my needs by saying he can't do it because of audits and technical things that as a customer, I do not need to hear or care about.

I had to actually tell the pharmacist NOT TO YELL AND NOT TO SHARE MY INFORMATION PUBLICLY.

Truly one of THE WORST experiences I have ever had.

Will be contacting the manager.

I will ensure my friends and family remove their business from this location moving forward.

The absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever been to- I am definitely switching, SOON! The pharmacy never has what I need on time.
I went in last week for my prescription that was supposed to be filled, only to find out they only have 1 out of the 3 packages I need. The pharmacist tells me to pay for all three packages, and says I can come back on Tuesday and they will have the other 2 ready for me. I go to the pharmacy today (it's Thursday) for the assistant to just tell me "sorry we don't have any" and "I don't know when we will". I am BEYOND frustrated because this ALWAYS happens when I come to this pharmacy. I am tired of having to make MULTIPLE trips to find out they don't have their ducks in a row.
Once again, I will not be returning. Hopefully the prescription is ready by the time my other package runs out! Save yourself a headache, and go to a London Drugs or something!

Worst pharmacy experience of my life. First I take my prescription in and they do not know how to bill so they had to call around to learn how, that is fine everyone needs to learn. Then they only have 10 days of the 90 I require for my prescription. So they end up filling the 10 days and say they will call me once they have the remaining 80 days worth, this is also fine.

10 days come and go and no phone call. I go in to pick it up anyways. They tell me that I already picked up the remaining 80 days worth. I know I did not so they tell me well maybe someone picked it up on your behalf. First I did not give permission for anyone to pick up my medication and second nobody knew I had a prescription in the first place.

In the end the Pharmacist says that he will go by the trust system and believe me that I did not pick up my medication. I asked if he could send the prescription to the City Center location. The Pharmacist agrees, sure no problem. A week passes and no communication. I go into the City Center location and they never received anything for me.

The City Center Pharmacist assistant generously agrees to call Meadowlark and they say no we already gave him his prescription. The City Center Pharmacy Assistant agrees with me that they are acting very unprofessional and he asks them to check the camera the date and time I supposedly picked it up. Now I am left going back to chase for my prescription at Meadowlark location.

My medication is very expensive and when off it, it wears off the body. It then takes up to 7 days to be back to full power in your body. I am very disappointed in this situation.

I will only go to Costco in the future. Please never go to this location to have your prescription filled. I could only imagine if I required this medication for basic daily living.

I called to see if my doctor had faxed my prescription refill. I was interrupted a lot, and when she told me that they had not received the fax yet I asked her if it was possible to call when they did receive it. She said “I’ll try my best bye. ” And hung up abruptly not to mention it sounded like I was burdening her with all of this work. Not impressed at all. Even if she can’t call me when they receive it at least tell me politely don’t be rude.
