Alright prices are high I have heart conditions but don't agree with the prescription the doctors prescribed me with. So instead I buy the Aspirin cause it might just be a life saver.

I personally know someone who works here and I went one day to see them on break and I was visiting with them in my car. I had to move my vehicle from in front of the store because it’s unprofessional or something. It’s the stupidest thing ever! There were so many empty stalls so it’s not like I’m blocking space, I should be allowed to park in any spot I want to, very dumb rule, poor management

The staff is very friendly, well trained and cooperative. The environment is well maintained and clean. Beauty section and front store staff is highly appreciated with perfect professional skills. Impressed by the beauty and front store staff services.

This store is amazing. There has never been a time when I walked in this store and came out not feeling valued.

Had a great interaction at the pharmacy. Dustin went over my prescriptions very thoroughly and he has a great personality. I didn’t catch the other pharm techs name but she was very nice too!

Management is horrible, disgusting and discriminatory absolutely terrible.
Changes are strongly needed Customer service is severely. I am disgusted by my experience and will be taking my business elsewhere.

This week I went out to Stony Plain to pick up a prescription and do some shopping in store. The Associate who was working in the pharmacy was like a breath of fresh air; kind, compassionate and caring! Will definitely be back!

Today was the last straw… We recently moved to the area, and previously used a shoppers drug mart in our old area and they were amazing. As a result we assumed we would have comparable service at this one, and boy were we wrong.

Every single time I have gone to this pharmacy there has been an issue (no exaggerations!) Staff standing around chatting instead of helping customers, staff being short or rude to people just looking for their meds, being placed on hold for 20-30 min only to be treated poorly when someone finally does answer, arguing with me about the number on my husbands benefits card, telling me she had never seen one like that so it must be wrong (ran it through and it worked, shocking!) I’ve had prescriptions faxed there that “we just never got” and no offer to help chase it down. Today a prescription for my daughter was faxed there at 10am. When I called at 5: 15pm they told me they “were super far behind so needed a lot of time to fill it. If I needed it tonight it would be 2 hours” ok, seems strange given they had it all day, but ok. Show up 2 hours later and surprise, not ready. Then they have the nerve to say “oh, we aren’t really that busy right now so we will do it now for you, it’ll be 15 min” Like, what? !?

I know they took on new ownership, and she seems lovely but they have a huge people/staff problem here. Do yourself a favour and find another pharmacy. Save your time and frustration!

We will be moving everything out first thing in the morning.

One of the nicest associates I have ever met. She helped me with my new prescriptions and explained how I should take it.

I am a senior living on a fixed pension and have been getting my medication from this shoppers for years. All of a sudden i can no longer get blister packs for 3 months at a time to save money. Now they will only give you 1 months and want 40 dollars for the other 2 months. This is just greed so i moved my medication some where else where i can get 90 days. So all you seniors lets all do the same and show shoppers we will not tolerate this abuse to us seniors. At 70 years old i am very tired of every one picking my pockets. So lets band together and say no more.

Bruh I bought a skincare package and they put a fake expire date on the real one it expired in 2021

Called to ask if they had children’s Tylenol. Waited on hold 10+ minutes. When they answered, the person in the pharmacy just said “nope” and hung up the phone straight away. Nice way to treat a parent trying to break their child’s fever. Three days before I made an appointment for flu shots for my 4 year old and gave the date of birth when I booked. Show up and she says it’ll be an hour and a half before they get to us. I say but we have an appointment. She says well I wouldn’t do it anyways because I can only do 5 years and up. Would’ve been something to mention when I made the appointment for a 4 year old, you think?

Absolute terrible pharmacy. Will never go back.

Customer service is terrible.
They lie to you about when your prescription is ready. Showed up on 5 different consecutive occasions with someone telling me my prescription was ready with a different excuse everytime saying it wasnt ready.

Then the last time they said they needed 20 mins just to phone me back and say they were shorted and didnt have my prescription.

That took 5 days for them to tell me that.

Very grumpy older lady at the pharmacy, she's been there a long time, short hair, glasses, bipolar.should be working somewhere that she doesn't have to talk to customers.

The pharmacy is without doubt one of the most unorganized places I've ever had the displeasure of going to. When I initially arrived to drop off my prescription, I was ignored for at least 2 minutes (while the two clerks were gossiping) before I was rudely asked "how can I help you". It was as if I really bothered her. I was told at 11: 30 am that it would be ready in an hour. I showed up at 2 and it wasn't ready. They told me it was and made me wait for 15 minutes before I finally got what I needed. Horrendous service and it's happened several times

Only use the post office at this location but the Postal lady Cathy is absolutely awesome and always gets everything done super quick!

Shure I’ll share…good luck getting the pharmacy to answer when you have a concern about your health and you have a couple questions. On hold for 15 minutes with electronic voice saying one minute pleas… one minute please. After 20 minutes I gave up. When you go in and speak to the pharmacist in person you get told how busy they are and rush you to get your questions out then rush their response. Never experienced this in Oakvulille, Barrie or Markham Ontario. Just Brutal.

Stopped in for snacks when we were staying with Urban River Adventures. It's a great shopper's drug mart, well stocked and clean. My gripe is with the employee at the checkout. Nolan was his name and at first he had a jovial personality and making jokes and such no big deal, until he called me evil for not having a bag. And I was paying for a reusable bag. I understand being funny and sarcastic since I myself am sarcastic but I was actually offended by his comment and it's not acceptable to speak that way. I too work in retail and am a cashier and I get how to treat people with respect while being a bit funny. He is not. If perchance I am ever back in Stony Plain and hit up the shoppers and he's working. I will be using self checkout.

Trying to pay off my credit bill with the pharmacy and the Lady named Tabitha has been nothing but rude and evasive with me to get this done making it difficult so I have to keep contacting them time after time. All I want to do is pay my bill. Once I do pay it I will never come here to do any business.

Rude customer service, I experienced here. I bought the wrong product and went there around 8.40pm today for return, only after one day but supervisor on duty make me felt that I just went to wrong place and even she is racist. I will never buy anything from there. Every store has policy to return the products within 30 days but they refused to take it even it not used. All package is good as it.

2022 Update:
Years later and this is still the only pharmacy I use. As someone who deals with multiple chronic health conditions and takes multiple medications, it is invaluable to have a supportive care team. Shoppers has been that team since day one and the support and love they show has only gotten better over time.

To Shoppers Pharmacy Staff: Thank you for your standard of excellence, attention to detail, willingness to help, and kind dispositions in every interaction I have had with all of you there (and it’s been a lot).

This has become my favourite pharmacy. Initially I used this pharmacy because the prices were reasonable and it was close. I have stayed there as a customer because I have grown to really like the pharmacy staff. They are so helpful and also so kind.

Don’t waste your time here, unless you don’t consider your time valuable. I expect to wait to have a prescription filled as that is only normal, so when I was told it would be 45 minutes, I thought that is quite a while, but Rexhall isn’t open till 9 am and it was 8: 30am. I went to Tim’s and was back at Shoppers for the 45 min pick up. I was then told it would be another 10 mins as the clerk said she had to count the pills? Whatever…30 mins later finally got my wife’s prescription. I won’t bother with this place next time. I will just wait till Rexhall opens! Should be no stars, not 1 star!

I goofed up my medication and I talked to kip and he was super understanding and helpful. Kip and his team really care about their patients and it shows. I was really nervous about taking a injectable medication for the first time and they were able to explain to me how to take the medication and everything.

The staff is polite and knowledgeable.
They really need to hire more help. After waiting on hold for half an hour, I gave up on trying to speak with someone and on this pharmacy. I'll have to find a new pharmacy.

One of the girls at the Canada Post desk needs to learn customer service. She barely acknowledged me, tried to just have a regular friendly conversation about my package but I might as well have been talking to myself because she was not having it.

Went in this evening to take advantage of the first points event since starting to coupon. I’m sure I could have been considered a bit of a headache, but Jeremy and (.) Brielle? Went above and beyond and help my family save a lot of money! I couldn’t be happier with (.) Brielle’s service and patience, and the management I saw in Jeremy.

I should have written down her name, and obviously I’ve forgotten it, but I hope the right person gets acknowledged ️

Staff refused to follow the scanning code of practice. Management needs to educate staff and ensure customers are receiving products at their advertised price.

Horrible service at the pharmacy, taking my business elsewhere. Staff was very condescending and ignorant.
