Doesn't care about the health or well-being of its customers - still selling products from caged hens and exposing everyone to unnecessary risks. I will not be buying anything from Shoppers until they get their priorities straight.
Why are you still selling eggs from hens confined in cages? Hens suffer immensely and can't even spread their wings. Please keep your promise to go cage-free by 2025. #CageFreeLoblaws
If incompetence was rewarded, Shoppers Drug Mart trophy cases would be filled, unlike their store shelves. A loyal 15 yr customer should never be told to phone around town to fill their order, nor should they have to hear claims that Shoppers associates knowingly can't deliver on. I'm pleased my clients wouldn't allow my company to be dismissive and indifferent with them, while I averaged healthy 22% profit margins off their backs. .
Staff are generally kinda rude usually actually Tried to sell me close to expiry on an important med I was not impressed and asked to get a different t one ordered I find them snotty most of the time and will be going to a different place for my expe sive meds on a regular basis
I've been going to this location for a couple years and the staff has always been helpful. However, the new security is awful. He followed me and stared at me the entire time I was getting my eggs, milk and cereal. My transaction was simple and quick, yet I felt like I was being stalked for some crime. Really disappointed. I'd rather walk the distance to Save On than be made to feel so uncomfortable.
Josh had some BIG shoes to fill as Maria's successor, and I had my doubts; however, he has succeeded and then some. He must wear a size 14 shoe! He kicks butt with his pharmacy footwear!
The patient care and service has been exceptional upon his ownership. Joshua dedicates himself to providing the best service. Absolutely no negative side effects and nothing by positive symptoms when you seek care from his pharmacy and staff.
I've been a patient here for years and I cannot refrain from mentioning the continuous care I have received from Mahmoud & Haroon. Over the years, they have assisted me with Rx research, doing deep dives and additional homework on my behalf before I sought my physician: They are experts in their field and don't hesitate to share their knowledge to equip and empower - Their counsel and insight is bar none - They always go the extra mile. Abie too, is becoming a strong contender as a pharmacist who takes pride in her profession and following in Mahmoud and Haroon's footsteps.
Of course, the support, care and genuine service of Helen, Trishea, and Sara cannot be underestimated. They have been the first and last line of defence in offering patient care and satisfaction. They set the tone, mood and atmosphere from beginning to end.
As busy and as in-demand that this team is, they always prescribe the best care, efficiency and efficacy with a dose of empathy and joy.
You leave feeling better before you even take your prescribed medication.
The WORST location and customer service by far! Their pharmacy team is rude, not very helpful, and they ignore you. Never mind their discriminative "security" team. Followed me around the entire store WATCHED me place ALL my items in the basket then followed me to the pharmacy WATCHED me PAY for ALL my items. Only to be searched before leaving!? ! Are u serious!? ! WHY would I steal if I just spent $150? Its sad. And offensive.
Will not be shopping here again as long as the security guard is working there not sure what I did that made him think I put something in my pocket the moment I entered the store. I did nothing wrong I walked in found the aisle I was looking for and started to browse. After proving my innocence. To top it all off he then went and mocked me in front of a co worker within ear shot. Playing it off like he was some damn hero stopping a robbery. Will not be getting anymore of my business.
I have visited there so many times and everytime there is a cashier named ‘devon’. I just don’t like the way he acts and even he acts like he is a boss over there, another cashier was asking for help from him and he made a such rude face that i felt so bad for her. Learn something about customer service buddy!
This 5 star review goes primarily to the pharmacy department at this location AND to one of their pharmacists Darren. Darren is absolutely amazing! He is professional, knowledgeable and helpful! I've observed him working behind the counter alone when it's busy and he is able to keep a wonderful quality of services while working under pressure. Thank you Darren and keep up the great work!
The main issue that caused me to leave this pharmacy at this shoppers location. Is that There was only just this one pharmacist in particular who was extremely unprofessional. That this individuals actions revealed time and time again displaying consistently enough in medication tampering along with just an over all poor outlook towards people in general it seemed. Very poor customer service in the treatment with judgment towards this individuals patients. I very much noticed unfortunately. But all the other pharmacists here were very much wonderful and extremely humble along with absolute professionalism
The girl at the cosmetics county is very helpful and kind, however the store is usually a mess and it closes early (sometimes by an hour or three) way too often. They need to update their hours of operation and maintain consistency.
Worst customer service - i went their to buy some medication which i need and need to change it because of the expiry date and the cashier which was on the front desk treated me really bad. I dont remember his name but he is a cashier for sure He was making faces was so arrogant and rude

My mom bought a 6- pack Diet Pepsi, after I finish 1 bottle, I immediately had diarrhea, I checked the bottles and they all expired last May 11 2020. The pop has been expired for more than 4 months and they still sell it. I have been suffering for the last 4 days. I got food poisoning. I will be going to the media about this. I have the pictures and all.
This Shoppers Drug Mart is at a great location right downtown Edmonton. The store offers food items as well as your typical drug store products. All of the staff ~ including the Pharmacy Team are friendly and helpful! Simply the best Shoppers Drug Mart to deal with!
Had such a good experience with the folks who work in the pharmacy. So friendly, so helpful. It really shows that they care about the people they deal with:) great work guys!
Some of the pharmacy staff don't know what customer service is about, I don't know who the pharmacists name is but I will not be filling my prescriptions at this location anymore. I called to see if they could fill my prescription while I walk to the pharmacy (I work in the building next to it) first he said it will take 5 minutes, I told him that I was calling because I didn't want to wait, then all of a sudden he said that he doesn't know the dosage and that he needs the prescription, its the exact same as the month before nothing has changed. I understand he needs the prescription, its not like he is specially making these pills, he is putting them in a bottle with a label on it so even if I didn't have my prescription Which I do! He could just dump the pills back in the bottle. Anyways.this is a bit of a rant. I'll not be taking my business to this location anymore.
Pharmacy was confused and has conflicting information. They called and said I could come get a small refill on a 0-refill medication that I have just run out of but haven't had the time to refill.
The pharmacist told me point blank that I hadn't taken any in 5 months - when I literally just finished the prescription yesterday. They also had outdated information on the daily dosage which was clearly incorrect and was from the prescription last year. Because their system was out of date and incorrect (their fault, not mine), I was told that I could only get a few days top-up if I was re-prescribed.
Now I have to suffer daily until I can make another doctor's appointment.
Why call me and say you can top me up when you're lying?
Really disappointing. I have no confidence in their data entry now, and wonder how many other people this is affecting.
