The service is terrible! Whether they're busy or not, expect a significant wait time. The customer service lacks courtesy, with consistently angry and unhelpful staff. I regret living 5 minutes away from this branch.

I can't speak for the rest of the store but the pharmacist I had was very accommodating and almost immediately had my prescription ready. I was so surprised, I did call in ahead but usually when I come in I still have to wait at least 30 minutes even when I do call ahead. The service from this one pharmacist was excellent!

I came in today to pick up my precription blister packs. I required to see a pharmacist since I was not well. The lady told me to wait by consulutstion. I asked the lady nicely to staple the package and she rolled eyes at me and tossed my prescription towards consultation. Attitude is not needed when someone is a patient of yours and comes in once in awhile to collect meds. Thinking of switching pharmacies too many inconsistancies at this store.

Horrible experience, i couldn't find the one item i was looking for even though i went down three aisles to look for it even the aisle it should be it, based on seeing it in other shoppers.barely any staff i saw that could help me.wont go back again.plus i couldnt wander into the store with my bag.even though ive done that at other shoppers.i dont know if thats a rule for thier own location or at other shoppers drug mart now.

We took our prescriptions over to Safeway simply because the wait times and lineups at this Shopper’s pharmacy were always very lengthy. An added bonus with the change to Safeway was a price drop.

This pharmacy is awful and should be avoided. I have a pet prescription that can’t be renewed online, but am never able to get through on the phone lines for refill. I’ve tried at all hours of the day and get left continuously on hold. Prescriptions are also never ready on time, even if ordered days in advance. Will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere.

Don't bother booking a visit with the pharmacist. Waited 30 minutes just to be told they don't have a doctor on staff that can cut prescriptions and the girl at the pharmacy just recommended the same things I've been doing. Thanks for wasting my time

Don't take photos in this shoppers! My cloth was totally slide to other side and the old lady told me it's not obvious on pr card because they will cut. I guess she is just don't want to retake. I said ok because I think my friend can help to correct it.

BUT The photo is not clear as well. My friend took photo in another shoppers near her home, her photo is 1M and very clear, I can see her skin details. Mine is only 584kb, nearly only half size, when I zoom in, everything is blurred. I guess the camera there is not updated as well.

Lots of people are on injectable medications.there is no need for your staff to stand and make dirty looks at customers when someone asks for syringes and needles.i have never been asked for a prescription to buy needles until i went here?

between an experience at both this one and market mall shoppers, disgusted at how the staff made me feel.even if i was using these needles for an illegal purpose, providing a dignified experience to a paying customer is harm reduction.just disappointing.some additional training for your staff on this matter is badly needed.

Pharmacy here used to be real good. But it takes forever for them to answer the phone, the systems always have errors or are down and it takes forever to find out information. Very long wait times it seems when I used to be able to walk right up. Get told a time to come back for my prescription, and it's still not ready and have to sit and wait. I'm not sure what's changed, but I hope they see this and maybe look into the issues and resolve it.

Since the new owner has taken over at Northill Pharmacy, the service is very poor. I was informed by text message that my medications are ready for pick up but they were not found upon arrival. Their fridge of medications are in a chaotic stage. I waited for /2 hr or more. The owner Sharon never call me back several times I had left a message.

This is the worst pharmacy. When I drop prescriptions off, they tend to lose them. When I order refills, I usually allow 3 days and yet they are never ready when I go in. The last four prescriptions I’ve brought in have not been filled when they said they would. When I go to get them, they tell me they’re not ready and to come back later. The service is just horrible. I get that everyone is short staffed but there has to be a way to serve customers without making them come back 3-4 times for every prescription.

They are really rude, bad behaviour and they did not respect the customers especially in cosmetic section, I’ve been there 3 times and I had really bad experience!

This location is trying to push everyone to self checkout. I was told by one of the staff that the store only wants cash transactions at tills. If that were the case then why in the midst of the past 2 years of pandemic they have self checkout machines side by side (zero physical distancing). There is 1 pushy clerk, just doing the store owner's bidding I expect, who keeps trying to drag one to one of those machines. Maskless she expects for me to be comfortable, as a senior, to have her breathing down my neck. I know how to do self checkout. Once the stores go strictly self checkout I will do my own. Before then let the customer decide how they want to pay for their items.

Not a big fan of the pharmacy here. There was a period of time here where the phones were down for a few days and I couldn't call ahead to fill a prescription, which is extremely frustrating when I dont have time to just wait around at the mall for 45 minutes for my medications. I also had an issue with my insurance. I had a new plan, went in with all of my info and was told I would have to pay upfront and submit my recipts to my insurance myself for the first time, ok not terrible. I went the next time and they said they didnt have anything on file for me for insurance and I had to provide my information again
Just an overall really irritating experience.

If you use the self ckout kiosk you can only get an "email receipt" if you agree to receive their marketing promotions. Sneaky pesky way to spam you with their overflow of junk mail. Since there is no other option, I decided to go to the check out desk to which no one showed up; 5 minutes later had to leave without what I wanted to buy. Not a nice way to waste your time.

Hi - The phone line to contact this location #355 at North Hill in Calgary has been down for over a day. The Kensington location confirmed this and now the person at 1-800-SHOPPERs has as well. As store #355 is one of the busiest locations in Calgary we are choosing not to come into the store at present. There is an email from your 1-800 line that went to the store today - regarding a member of my family (same last name). Please call us asap at the number provided to confirm that the physician's office has been able to connect with updates. Again you have an email from your support 1-800 between 1645 and 1700 local time on May, 25,2022. I will change/ edit this one star review to reflect your responsiveness to this concern and inability to connect with the store. Ideally we will hear from a staff member today or tomorrow morning (May, 26).

Update: Phone line still down at the location. Tried Twitter - my spouse asked to send more info.by DM this morning - No reply to his DM hours later. Physician's office also reached out to #355 by fax. 1-800 SHOPPERs was engaged yesterday. Almost 24 hours later NO call back from the store. The auto-reply will apologize and suggest we call 1-800 SHOPPERs - I will beat you to it. Calling again just to experience the higher than normal call volumes. Only glimmer of hope is that the location seems to have meds ready as 2 text messages were sent - Now if you would just deliver the meds as has been our "norm" for the past 2 years - Of course there is NO way to reply to the text messages. Add a "would like these delivered to the address on file? " to your text message system would be an improvement. Zero stars: (for a lack of follow through when we've worked to connect in multiple ways. We will not go to the location. It is small, typically crowded, very few (if any) masks on.

Update after auto reply below. We did call 1-800 twice. They emailed, we emailed this location. The only thing that worked to resolve this situation was to engage on Twitter. The assistance in Twitter DM was not an auto reply. We have a solution for our simple request for home delivery. I will change the rating from 1 star to 3. The person who finally called was lovely. However they also confirmed that the phone system issue that started on May 22 is not resolved for any customers. It should not have taken 3 days and multiple emails prompted by calls to 1-800 SHOPPER and SM folks to finally hear back days later when the store was well aware of their issue. Bottom line - Do
engage on Twitter and social media to ask for resolution. The folks handling your Twitter acct gave me hope.

Had a terrible experience today with a pharmacy staff Angela at this location. The moment she realized she has to spend more time to contact my insurance provider, she became very impatient and full of attitude. She would lie to your face just to make you leave. Escalated to the customer service team, someone from management please speak to her and change this type of behaviour in the future.

Jayna was fantastic! Super friendly and got me the lowest price and best options to get my (very late) Christmas gifts out to friends and family. I know it can be a thankless job, especially with everything going on in the world right now and this time of year and particular, so thank you Jayna for being kind, polite and helpful

Nothing but problems from the pharmacy here. I had been using them for a couple of years out of the convenience of the location. They are awful at communicating! The past handful of times I've gone to fill a prescription they've told me over the phone it's filled and when I go to pick up nobody has any clue what I'm talking about.

The staff are quite rude and were unapologetic about wasting my time. One woman went as far as to say my doctor was just "terrible at writing prescriptions".

I am now left without the prescription I need because they could not get their stuff together. Completely atrocious.

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My prescriptions were transferred here after the shoppers near me closed.

On the first occasion they forgot to activate my pager they gave me, so I sat and waited over 2 hours for my meds.

The next time they actually lost my medications I ordered 2 days before to make sure it was ready.

On the third time right now, I was told that their computer messed up and that I needed to wait an extra 10 minutes. Guess where I got the time to write this review. Thirty minutes later, still waiting. This order was called in 3 days before I needed it.

Three strikes, they are out. Do not use them; they need a management overhaul or something to get to the source of their problems.

I attached a photo from their waiting chair. 34 minutes now they are double checking my name.

Purchsaed an App Store & iTunes Gift card for a $100 from the store on Sunday. The card was not activated. Have been to the store, told to phone Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart to get a Refund. So today phoned them to get a refund, and Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart said no, to a refund or activation, it was Apples responsibility. Was given a link to Apples site and finally talked with an Apple Support representative who told me that Shoppers Drug Mart was Responsible for activating or Refunding the $100, as they sold the card to them. No responsibility. So basically, each of the parties has declined to help in anwyway way to resolve this situation, and I'm out a $100 dollars by the store because staff didn't know how to activate the card. Total time spent on this has been 5 hours or roughly $2500 in lost income on a simple refund from the store. My suggestion to other Shopper Drug Mart customers Don't buy gift cards from Shoppers, this is what happens by bad customer service.

Update 10/02/2020 Contacted Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto gave me a case number, sent pics of everything.to resolve.

Update 101/10/2020 Contacted Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto Customer Care. Lo and behold they tried sending me to Apple to resolve the problem for the second time. I walked them thru the whole story again. Then the Customer Care person changed their story and said it take 2-4 weeks to resolve the issue with the case #. That they would either give me another gift card or refund. What a tragedy in poor service. I do know one thing.that I have learned from this not only as private citizen, a business owner as well.poor training and and bad customer service, drives people away from your store in wanting to do business.will never ever buy another gift card from Apple with their logo, or any product from Shoppers. If there was negative rating to be used.would definitely use it.buyer beware.

The pharmacist, Adrian Azim, took my prescriptions on Tuesday afternoon told me to come back at 7: 30 pm. I came back at 8: 30 and neither were ready. I waited 30 minutes and only managed to get one prescription filled. The other one had to be ordered and wouldn’t be ready until Thursday. On Thursday, after having paid $600, I received a call that the pharmacist wouldn’t fill my prescription and wouldn’t even give the infilled prescription back to me. Shame on you Adrian Azim, for thinking you can override a doctor.

Was just released from hospital after a major heart attack, was told my presentation was going to be hours, went with delivery, it was 8 hours before they came, turns out they only deliver 4 out of 6 6 been suffering all. Week asked where my preciption sheet from the hospital was, was told they wanted another 10 dollars to give it to me, I will never deal with them again.

The service was the worst at the pharmacy. The pharmacist -Adrian Azim - with 10 years less education than my doctor unilaterally decided not to fill a prescription and would not even return the prescription to me. Do not go here. Adrian Azim is Criminally negligent.

Shopper's North Hill has always been very kind and informative. They have a high volume of customers, and still manage to get my prescriptions filled in a timely manner. I like this Shopper's because they're open a bit later than the Northland one.

Excellent service on May 11,2020 in early afternoon. When I was in line for the cashier, another customer was standing way too close. The young cashier immediately notified the other customer about social distancing. I really appreciated the cashier taking immediate action to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

This is my favourite Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary! From the cashiers (Gaby who is my lottery lucky charm) to the wonderful cosmetics staff & manager (Sherri & Karry (sp?). I've always found the cosmetics staff to be VERY helpful both in person and over the phone. They take the time to help you find what you need - Even if it's not at their store. I haven't used their pharmacy at this store but the rest of the store & staff are really very good! Cashiers always ask if I need help when I buy more than I can carry (or they will call for assistance). I've never had to ask. Great 5-STAR customer service!
