Shoppers Drug Mart

Just cause the color of my friend security was called to the isle he was in and convitenely our til computer crashed and someone had to come and scan my items their self. Very disgusting for someone from a different race themselves

The people at the front were probably some of the most friendliest people I've met. I put a product on hold for a couple hours and everyone remembers my name.

The lady that helped me was the most happiest bubbliest up beat person I've met. She was a pleasure to talk to and made my experience here a very very positive one. I can't remember her name (she said her last name was the school up the road, but could not remember it), she and another staff member were happy and helpful.

May/05/2023:
The morning staff were very coarse with me. I was following the instructions from my dental provider, and they were making the process quite difficult for me. I had an adverse reaction to an antibiotic, and it took me all day, and 3 visits to make sure the new antibiotic was issued. No phone call was given as told, the morning shift seemed to have not communicated to the evening shift (No shock there with their rude demeanor and lack of professionalism.) I will say this. The evening staff were not only very professional, but we're kind and empathetic as well. I'd say, at the least, a meeting should be conducted to address this issue. The evening staff gets 5 stars.


Unfortunately the overall effect of the morning, has left me unwilling to rely on the pharmacies of shoppers drug mart for life threatening treatment prescriptions in the future.

My experience with the manager was horrendous. She avoids customers, even when customers approach her (as she was pointed out by her staff). She greets customers by "WHAT? " As if the shelves needed to be restocked asap. She is so rude, does not have the customer experience as a priority at all. I think she really hates dealing with oeop with other people. She doesn't seem like she is in the correct role. Because of her, I will never go back to this location.

Since I moved my prescriptions here, they never fail to send me updates about my refil. All staff are helpful.

The pharmacist was very rude to me. I needed a few weeks extension on a medication I have been taking for a long time now (that’s the earliest I could get in with my doctor because of Christmas etc). It is a mood stabilizer and I can’t miss even one dose or I spiral bad. She was condescending when I tried to explain the situation to her. She made me go find a walk in clinic to get a new prescription from a random doctor. Both that doctor and the new pharmacist I went to there rolled their eyes and said this shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place and it’s easy for them to extend this medication in a situation like this.

If i can give negative i will to this one particular staff FATIN she said she's the manager but oh my god. You don’t know your job. You need to be retrained for coupons. You need to replace her. She doesn’t treat your customers right. Everytime i use coupons theres always a problem why u use price adjustment for coupons? And she let me transferred from self checkout to 2 different til. She was shaking too when she did the coupon. I think she’s trying to think how to mess up everything so that i dont get my pts offer. So i end up canceling everything no point dealing with someone incompetent. If your not happy with your job find something else.

I go in to this store often and always get amazing service in the Beauty Boutique. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. The Beauty Boutique manager Ruby is always recommending the best products and often goes above and beyond in her service. Love shopping here!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this store. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially the beauty boutique manager Ruby. She always makes sure I’m up to date on the newest products that I’ll enjoy and keeps me in the loop with any deals going on that will give me the most points. I think she’s an absolute joyous being who works really hard. 10/10 experience if you go here.

Shame on you shoppers for putting me through this disgusting experience with ruby "the cosmetics manager" as she describes herself. If I could give 0 stars I would. Last week I bought an item from cosmetics worth 300$, she did not even put the items in a bag from the store, and I didn't say any word with her. One week later I come back to price adjust this product since it was my right to do so. When she saw me she said "I can't keep doing returns and you can't keep coming back and forth like this". She did not respect me as a customer and I told her not to to say another word because it is my right to price adjust, because this is not free. Isn't that right shoppers? Shame on you shoppers to have such a disrespectful employee, she should know the bare minimum of basic respect and know the store policy. I always buy cosmetics and I have never seen someone as rude as her before. To everyone coming to this branch i strongly advise you to beware of ruby. After this I'm not buying any cosmetics from this location.sephora or Hudson Bay have employees that at least know basic respect for the costumers.

I recently was at this Shoppers Drug Mart and I can't say enough amazing things about the Cosmetic Manager, Ruby. She was the most welcoming, friendly and informed about products person I have met in retail for a very long time. I don't write many reviews, but her outstanding customer service skills needs to be acknowledged. With all that retail workers have had to deal with this last couple of years during the pandemic, my hats off to you! You work hard each and every day to make our lives that much simpler. Thank you Ruby for providing us all with a little more sunshine, no matter the weather!

Amazing service at the Beauty Boutique. Ruby the manager helped me and was so professional and kind. She spent time helping me find gifts for my family and recommend amazing products and deals. Superior customer service, something you don't find anymore!
