The lady name Nelia was definitely rude and disrespectful.she doesn’t even greet and help people. Customer was the one saying thank you and hi, she just showing her mad face. Like what’s wrong with you? Go home if you don’t wanna work

Rude pharmacists. I've been trying to get a prescription sent here for weeks and everytime I'm told the prescription has been sent, I call this pharmacy to confirm and they have rudely told me 3 times now that the prescription isn't there. They cut me off mid-sentence and don't even let me finish the question I was asking them. I can't believe these people still have their jobs honestly. The prescription is for baby formula and is urgent yet they act like I'm interrupting them in the middle of dinner instead of doing their job that they get paid for when I call to inquire. Standards for medical "professionals" have really fallen.

I had a very frustrated shopping experience today at the Clarins counter in Chinook center's shoppers drug store. I was originally looking for a foundation product I saw someone recommended online and the customer service lady checked my Pic and confirmed it was not sold here. She then turned around to organize the shelves, cabinets and she did not ask me if there's anything else I am interested. So I start to look around by myself. I saw a night cream and I picked up the tester (open lid tester) and use my finger tip picked a little bit to try on my hand. At this moment, the lady directly took away the tester from my hand and said" You should not touch the product with your hand". Meantime, she turned around and opened a cabinet under the shelves and took out the cotton swab, and swiped away a layer and said "you are damaging the product". I was shocked by her rudeness and I said, "Then you should put a notice here to let customer know", or at least put your cotton swab next to the product to give a hint to customer implying "use it". And then she said to me, "Because no one ever did that before, you are the first one". You know what, there is even eyelashes left by someone in the tester when I opened it. I was so angry and I left the store right away. I went back to the store a moment later and find the Manger to file s complain cuz I was so wronged. The manager said this lady should apologize to me. But this lady is so unwillingly to. She finally said, without looking at my face, " I apologize if I hurt your feeling, but really no one did that before. " The Manager said this lady does not report to her. After that, I have no expectation to receive a genuine apology so I left directly almost cried. I went upstairs to sephora to get the product I want. I was frustrated as I was thinking to accumulate points for my PC card.
To the store, if you don't want customer to touch your open lid tester, and "damage" it, please put a notice next to your product, or just remove your testers from the shelves. I understand it is not easy to be a customer service and I respect people work in the industry, but Canada is a multi culture country. I prefer no customer service than terrible service who looked down the customer.

I initially left a 1 Star Review here due to the cosmetics side staffing not greeting me upon multiple visits to this location and often getting glared at by numerous member of the staff here as I see others noted below the same issue.

However, after having so many negative experiences here I decided to call in and talk to the Manager of the Beauty department after leaving my review on the same day. Her name is Kim and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She took my issues seriously and even went to far as to look through security camera footage to see the incidents I was referring to in not being greeted and being glared at by certain staff members.

Kim is an ALL STAR on the shoppers cosmetics team and I highly suggest that is you experience similar issues on that side to call in vs just leaving a review. It's hard to see change in staff if you don't speak to someone directly. Especially, when you have a manager who will hear you and take your concerns seriously.

This way your issues can be dealt with specifically related to your experiences, time and dates they occurred if you do so on the same day of the incidents. This can help them train their staff to do better at providing customer service to all patrons and weed out bad apples that make the whole team look bad.

It's disappointing that a worker in the perfume department mistreated me. No consumer should ever be treated rudely, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or appearance. The employee's actions are entirely inappropriate, and calling security on customers who were only merely browsing the perfume aisle is excessive and unneeded. It's particularly alarming because I thought I was being singled out for attention due to my race and hijab. It's awful that this experience has made me feel so embarrassed of the Shopper's brand since discrimination and racism have no place in any business. Customer service is an essential component of any company, therefore it's sad that this employee didn't extend even the most elementary degree of decency and consideration. This Shoppers Drug Mart's customer service was atrocious, and the employee's conduct was absolutely inappropriate. It is troubling that prejudice was a factor in how I was treated, and it is reasonable that this has caused me to feel embarrassed of the brand. I will not be shopping from Shopper's Drug Mart again.

The worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Bunch of Karen's work at this location. This employee named Dia asked us to leave the store because we were testing perfume tester? ! We got utterly disgusted and embarrassed. They also called security on us, even though security couldn't do anything because we were not doing anything wrong. I mean just looking at the reviews, I am not shocked. But my only question is that, what is shoppers drug Mart's owner doing to improve this? Or either just shut down the store with such horrible customer service representatives.

I was witness of a discrimination crime at shopper today around 4pm Friday near the perfume section. An old lady named Dia with blonde hair, came to harass a group of hijab girls stating that they had to leave, but they were minding their own business just testing perfumes. She even gather the store employees to keep an eye on them. They were being followed everywhere. She even called security on them! The security guard did not do anything because he saw they were doing nothing wrong. Honestly, terrible customer service. I will try and contact the young ladies to make sure they are okay.

I absolutely love shopping for perfume at this Shoppers. They have a beautiful perfume section of the store and I always find the ladies there incredibly attentive and knowledgable. I will tell someone what I like and she will pull perfumes that are exactly what I am asking for. Makes me feel like I am in a luxury store with amazing care and customer service. Thank you!

The pharmacist here is a conceited arrogant person. Makes patients feel small and uses flawed logic to explain things… it’s no coincidence that they have 2.5 stars. Go find yourself a different pharmacy.

Refused to process an exchange with a valid receipt at the beauty boutique counter. This employee has been impolite to me in the past as well. She said she couldn’t do the return/exchange since the products were purchased at another Shopper’s location which I know isn’t true. This location ALWAYS has opened/tampered with/used cosmetics out for sale as well.

I like Shoppers Drug Mart but I don't like the layout of this store. It would be a lot nicer to have the cash registers on the mall side. Also, the line-up area for the cash registers is very confusing with multiple line-ups forming for the cash registers. The area around them too has a lot of merchandise and appears cluttered. This should really be addressed.

I go to the consult with a pharmacist because I was so sick and in a lot of pain and because I wasn't standing in her little box she ignored me for 15 mins then started serving other customers. Then rolls me to go stand in her little box. Not the first time they've been rude. I don't know why I think they'll ever offer good custmer service.

Shoppers offers 24 hours service which is great that's a plus. However for that service they seem to make up for it in extremely high prices.

Its an okay store, however the items that are on sale or the items in my PC Optimum offer emails are usually out of stock - these are usually their food and fridge/freezer section. Parking is an issue and potentially cleanliness during high peak periods.

I first went to the post office inside Shoppers Drug Mart and the staff member was very helpful. After I wanted to purchase some heavier items, however the carts have signs saying they aren’t allowed in the parking lot. I asked a staff member by the checkout if I could take a cart out to my car if I purchased the heavy items. I was curtly told no. I told her I would shop elsewhere. She didn’t seem to care.

The pharmacy team really likes to jerk people around. Told me my meds were ready and they didn't have any in stock when I arrived to pick it up? I rely on these meds to stay alive. Not having a refill ready when I'm told it's there is more than just a frustration. What is the deal

Today I went in to drop of some new prescriptions and order others for pickup. The girl that was helping me was horrible, she wouldn't actually do anything. She wanted me to do all of her work when we found out that my last pharmacy hadn't transferred all of my prescriptions. Absolutely useless, she blatantly lied to me to get out of doing some things.

I have had problems with shoppers pharmacy before and many different locations, this was the last straw. I'm transferring to a different pharmacy and never using them again! They can't even keep track of my information properly! They have now lost a prescription that I have been on for 10 years and had a years supply of on file. I'm done.

Don't buy gift cards here! They sell you cards and they don't activate them, then when you ask for a refund they don't give it to you. They just tell you to call a number that doesn't work! Then they are rude to you when you ask for your refund. They still have not given my hard earned money back!

Taylor was incredible in assisting myself and my girlfriend today. With amazing knowledge and expertise, we felt like we were shopping with a friend. Taylor’s natural charisma and service was probably the best I’ve come across in retail.

Honestly want spent money for brand name perfume, please go somewhere else, staff so so so rule, I just bought prada and boss perfume this morning (Sunday), I bought because I don’t have time, I just want take pictures sent to my friend ask which one she want, by misktake I click on video (record)
Right away staff come and said “ you not allow to made video, delete it right away, do you need help “ it is make me so bad smooth
Early morning I came supported them but they streat me like that
Any way staff there very need re- train how to customers service
The same situation but they need to know how to talk not make hurt another feeling,
Again, if I can give zero star, I will

It’s so refreshing to find consistency in a brand! The Chinook Shoppers is continuing the trend of great experiences across the board.

Like most Shoppers we have been in to, this one was clean, heavily staffed, well signed for COVID-19 and a pleasant shopping experience.

Truly, to any Ontarian’s reading this, the Shoppers in Alberta are a whole different universe! They are so kind and incredible here.

Pushy and competitive beauty sales people, gave me the wrong product- now I have to go back during CoVid restrictions for the right one. Very unfortunate because the store is stocked with product, you just can't have 1 minute to yourself.

I would highly recommend Devang Joshi and his Real Estate company. This was far my best experience dealing with a real estate company on any level.

I have been given wrong medications on October 28,2020 at around 11pm, instead of 4 tablets of Ondansetron HCL 8 mlg, they filled up with 4 tabs Pantoprazole 40mg and they supposed to give me 30 tabs of Pantoprazole 40mg but they were filling inside w/ the 30 tabs of Ondansetron HCL 8mlg which I was taking daily 1 tab. I will see how much damage I got then we will take this issue the court.

I transferred my prescription from Drugstore in Save-on-foods to the Chinook shoppers. And for the same medication they charged me so much more! Is there any regulation over the price of medications? When I asked why you’re charging me so much more than the other pharmacy, they literally told me we do cuz we can! Will not recommend this shoppers and will not go there again!

I was at the mall on November 28, I visited the store and the new security is incredible, the guard provides amazing customer service and the staff is always helpful. Keel up great work

First and foremost I do NOT reccomend the pharmacy here. My brother called before hand and spoke to an ignorant man named Tony. All he wanted was to ask a couple questions about the medication he should be taking. Tony decided to HANG UP ON HIM. Without any choice my brother now had to go in person to ask and he is a high risk to Covid. This is already dangerous enough for him. He had the displeasure of speaking to Steven who ignored his questions and concerns, WALKED AWAY MID CONVO and talk to the other pharmacist, Tony. He then left as he felt mistreated. He walked back in and asked to speak to a manager and was yelled at and denied. The medication is for his HEART and the last thing he needed was stress. How dare you treat people this way when you are in the authority to TAKE CARE of those people who NEED the medication. I demand answers and an apology and this will not be forgotten. This industry isn't a joke and my brothers concerns about medication is highly important. I want to contact headquarters Absolutely unprofessional and inappropriate. Peoples lives are in your hands and you should be ashamed of yourself.

If I could give the pharmacy clerk 0 stars, I would. Visited this Shoppers on Dec 27 around 1pm. The pharmacy clerk, after arguing with a customer for about 10 mins because they sold a client a medication that was expiring in 2 months, she ushered me away when it was my turn to pay. The 2 items I was trying to pay for were pharmacy items! Really? What kind of service is this? So I left them on the shelf behind the pharmacy and left. I'll be taking my business elsewhere thank you! #unacceptable

The security with the glasses is so rude, all I did was just asking what time the shoppers is closing and he looked at me, giggled, and asked me "what are you gonna do? " looool I mean, I didn't ask a question for that ridiculous answer. All he could say was "we close at midnight" or something else. He really ruined my day.
