Shoppers Drug Mart

Me and my family have been getting our everyday medications from here for awhile and every time we come in there is a problem.we have medication coverage, after multiple issues with prices and them saying we have to call our provider when we already have my parents moved over to Costco pharmacy and now gets everything no problem. The last time I went to shoppers they tried to charge me $130 for my medicine and then I switched over to Costco and I paid $30. When I asked why shoppers charged me so much they blamed my benefits and said it’s the dispensary fee. Not impressed. Save your time and money.go to any other pharmacy

Just stood in front of a cashier for 5 mins while she talked on the phone about makeup classes. You can put someone on hold. Horrible service.

I’ve been using the Lake Bonavista Shoppers Drug Mart since 1994. I’ve seen some rather negative comment’s recently on their review section. I realize when a business has a significant change of ownership or our worldwide pandemic which has negatively effectively affected every retail based business and crippled many. I love my community Shoppers, they’re busy all the time, have always been supportive, provided guidance and expertise in a very professional manner. Perhaps those naysayers could snake a sincere comment to the staff when they’ve had an issue and give them the opportunity to rectify tge problem or deal with the issue instead of broadcasting it through social media. Recently Today, Nov 28 I am travelling on a very short notice to deal with a family emergency. My script was due today and I had no possible way to get a script renew. Last night at 2100 hrs when I went in to ask a pharmacist what I could do on my way to a 2330hr flight, Tony took care of me and provided the care expertise and professionalism that a Registered and Licensed Pharmacist is required to do! He was phenomenal and being a Licensed professional myself I was thoroughly appreciative. He hadn’t a break for a very busy eve i g and would be in the pharmacy long after the doors were locked doing what it took, going beyond what was required. Thank you Tony! You deserve a pat on the back or a hug but with current restrictions guiding our deportment, how about a very sincere THANK YOU! From one allied healthcare professional to another! Shame on you who tap out problems in a public forum and spreading negative remarks that do more damn than good. Be professional and deal with your issues face to face and show these hard working out of community residents who come to our beautiful community and provide us with the convenience and ability to have a personal relationship and enjoy the service Tony and they provide. Your negative broadcasting is just as damaging as COVID itself. Enough said Thank you all at Lake Bonavista for Caring! A lot of us appreciate all you all do! And those who don’t say thank you or support you are disrespectful and hurtful

We just went for our Flu vaccines and my five year old daughter was really scared. She was crying uncontrollably and one of the ladies working in the pharmacy came over and spoke to her, calmed her down, got her watching a puppy video on her phone and we got the shot no problem. She was so amazing! Thank you!

Hard to give any stars. 6 people waiting in line to pick up prescriptions at 3: 30 on a Wednesday afternoon. Line not moving. Very upset and frustrated customers over the terrible service here since ownership changed and old staff all disappeared.

This pharmacy is a very hot mess, Everything they lie to customer.can not be trust. Always make the mistake.you need to go back again and again. For example, the prescriptions never get right when they say is ready.

Giving them a 5 for how the wonerful lady handled an incredibly busy pharmacy pretty much single handedly with incredible grace and patience! I'm not sure if they were short staffed or the owner is just cheap! But she handled herself without getting flustered at all!
