Shoppers Drug Mart

With 3.1 Google rating, I thought that the reviewers must be misguided…. And began using this Pharmacy when I relocated to the West End.

Maybe their system has not caught up with current times/technology, because I made a mistake of putting my credit card information on file for automatic prescription payments.

I picked up my medications and they told me that they could only process automatic payments for 2 medications. That should have been a red flag. Like, how is your system able to automatically deduct payments for 2 medications but not the rest? Anyway, I picked up my medications, and paid for the rest over the counter.

1 week later, I found 2 payments from Shoppers Drug Mart North York ON on my credit card. I checked my prescription account and truly Shoppers deducted payments a week later for the same payments I made over the counter.

I called them thinking this would be some easy fix but I was on the phone with them for close to 40 mins. The 1st gentleman was very professional, even though I was losing my mind that this simple mistake could not be corrected in under 5 mins. I thought, well they have my payment history on file, and it shows them that automatic payments were made online for the same payments I made over the counter 1 week before. He told me I would have to come in with my receipt to resolve this.

When I told him I’d lost the receipt, they got another lady who once she came was very defensive, rude and unprofessional. I do not care if you are a brain surgeon, you are not a good customer service person if you are not able to even try to problem-solve with an aggrieved customer. She seemed in a hurry to get back to work. She told me she could not see my online Shoppers payment profile, which is crazy because why use a system you do not understand nor can access!

I have now transferred my prescriptions to Costco Pharmacy. At least, I have used Costco services for years, and their customer service is trusted world-wide.

Now, I have to go the dreadful job of calling my credit card dispute line for the next 2 hours. This is about 3 hours of my life I will not get back because I used this Pharmacy!

I should never have included my credit card information on file. If you insist on using them, pay over the counter!

The staff in the pharmacy are so stupid and stupid and stupid and super mean and you can give them the oscar for being racist.

I got a bad experience with the pharmacy. I complained that i only received 90 pills instead 180 as posted on the bottle given me. However The pharmacist claimed they gave me 180 pills and she insisted I lost the other 90 pills. Is it not true that the customer is always right? Does this Mean i am sick and experiencing dementia because of I'm old and senior citizen? What a judgemental and discriminating pharmacist

This is my closet location, however I only attend this location when the need really arises. I will travel for longer just to avoid this location when possible.

Just left the beauty counter and someone needs to give that girl a raise, amazing customer service

I went yesterday to drop off a prescription and I noticed a new members staff at the pharmacy, bad customer service, they just gave me the pills without instructions to take them as Dr prescribed, not even a bag! Nothing!

If I could give their beauty and cosmetic department "no stars", I would. On several occasions I have gone in to look for beauty products, as this is my neighborhood Shoppers Drug Mart. Almost every single time I have gone in, I have been watched and monitored by staff like a hawk. I assume theft from this store is an issue, but their approach towards "paying" customers is uncomfortable and unprofessional. This last time I went in to buy a bottle of expensive perfume (today), I was not only uncomfortably watched by their staff, but also heard over the announcement they wanted security cameras to the area I was in.i was the ONLY one in the area, so pretty obvious. The whole thing felt so uncomfortable. Despite this being my neighborhood store, I will not be going back here, and I recommend you don't either if you don't want to be treated like a criminal or low class individual. You should be greeted and welcomed into a store, especially when you are going to be spending money on expensive products.

Terrible customer service and overall atmosphere in their beauty department.

Amazing location for beauty products shopping and assessment!
I love the ladies working in this location, they are very knowledgeable and kind.
I just booked again a make up session for this coming Monday because they always have done a great job with high quality service.

Really like the staff here they are really helpful with picking out products based on my skin care concerns! Thank you everyone!

They lost my package feels like someone stole it and they have no clue or idea it’s like giving your mail to a wall

Very clean and well arranged store.
They usually have items in their inventory.
There is limited parking right infront of the store. But there are much more parking within the shopping complex.
There is a Canada Post inside.
Other valuable regular grocery and food store exist around this shoppers.

Pharmacy so poor customer service. Theyhave told me that they are out of that particularmrdicationafter two hours.only wasting to time go there. Never recommend and never go back.

We had a great experience interacting with Maria at the store this evening.
She went 'above and beyond' in helping my son pick out colognes.
She was very personable, had great product knowledge, excellent customer service skills and an overall great attitude!
