Shoppers Drug Mart

They are normally good, but the one pharmacist lady is incredibly rude. She gave me a rude look and was very unhelpful when trying to drop off a prescription. When I came back for my prescription I was 5 minutes early so I was going to sit in the provided chairs, but she yelled my name at the top of her lungs across the store, and gave a rude and ignorant “I told you 10: 30”. She should not be in customer service.

Pharmacy as everyone else has said is completely disorganized and poorly run. Consistently slow, poor communication, and poor lead times. Overall disappointing and equally disappointing that shoppers drug mart hasn't done anything in spite of a load of poor reviews. Update: called the number provided, no help was rendered.
Google won't let 0/5, but it is unredeemable.

Terrible please to shop. The staff needs more training. Will not be returning to this location

I had been coming to this pharmacy for over twenty years and finally they broke me; I transferred over to the Rexall (significantly better experience) and truly hope I never have to interact with their pharmacy team ever again. I’ve had personal information including the names of drugs I’m on SHOUTED across the store, I’ve been belittled, I’ve been lied to about wait times and I’ve had prescriptions lost or forgotten about. The number I’ve times I’ve gone home and cried after an interaction there is completely unacceptable. I’ve tried to escalate to the manager multiple times but I think they’re also a big part of the problem. Do yourselves a favour, keep your dignity in tact and RUN from this pharmacy. On the flip the grocery half and those employees (a lot of whom have worked there for many years) are usually great. Just sucks that company changes are making this place unbearable.
P. S.the security guards aren’t following you because they thought you stole…

Barb who works at the post office is fabulous! I came in just before closing, Barb was so friendly, patient and attentive.
Honestly all my interactions with the ladies at the post office have been positive.

"Lost" my 3 month perscription that my doctor sent as my last refill before his retirement. Who took my Ativan? Sent me home with someone else's printout for a totally different but similar spelled med. Wait time also takes forever. 5-15 is usually 45 mins or not same day. Didn't tell me about and made me pay for things that my benefits covered that would have been helpful for years.

Unprofessional and unethical
Item marked wrong price and when encountered about that. Rude behaviour. Two philipino talking in their own language and completely ignored me. Poor customer service

Horrible post office lady. I been in there a couple times and every single time this lady has horrible. Doesn’t have a bit of costumer service personality in her. If I didn’t have to go here for my mail, i would never go back. I see all the reviews here and shoppers, why don’t you do something about it?

The staff in the pharmacy are useless and ignore in-person customers with zero acknowledgement (won't even look up at you) while making you wait.
Then, they lie and act shifty and bizarre like they're dragons hoarding gold coins or something.
New staff is needed here asap.

The Pharmacy and Postal Outlet staff at this location are abhorrent. I can't count the number of times I've been told that I'M wrong in saying my package/prescription is supposed to be ready for pickup, been made to feel like I'm a nuisance and preventing them from doing their job, then am sent away, then am called minutes/hours later to be told that it was there all along and they are 'so sorry. ' Today I went to pick up two Rxs and got to the car to find only one filled, and when I went back to the pharmacist to ask about it, he had no idea that they had only filled one Rx (yet I paid for two) and also said he had no idea WHY they did that, but that I would have to call back at lunch time to see if they even have my other one or I was told I could go to another pharmacy because "it's that easy". These are headaches nobody should have to deal with, especially from staff who are condescending and act like you've disrupted their entire day by trying to avail of a service THEY ARE PAID TO PROVIDE!

Customer service is extremely rude, they need to hire new staff. The workers at the post office also need to be replaced. Been trying to reach them for over six hours. Left a voice message and they never called back. They are clearly avoiding working since the post office is usually not busy in this location. I recommend you finding a different shoppers to go to.

I really have no issues with this Shoppers and I've honestly never used thier postal service (at this location) however;
The pharmacy here is the worst I've ever had the displeasure of using.
They almost never have prescriptions ready for when they tell you they'll be ready and I have had my prescriptions withheld from me. I understand this location is on 17th Ave but that is no excuse.
On multiple occasions I was quoted wait times, 45 mins, 1 hr and so on. I typically will give extra time just in case, once I even gave 4 hrs yet when I arrive to "pick up" nothing is ready and I'm told to wait again!
I've witnessed one assistant on Facebook behind the desk not answering calls and recently had my prescription withheld from me. (Story)

Unfortunate set of events;
I didn't realize I was out of a regular medication I take, my doctor was unavailable and I was told to ask the pharmacist for a small amount of my medication to last until I could renew my full prescription with my doctor.
Saturday late afternoon Pharmacist gave me 7, that week on Thursday I saw my doctor and he renewed my prescription.
I then went to fill said prescription as I had the time (I have a chaotic schedule) and was told, I could not pick up my medication until I was closer to being out of medication? I had 2 meds left and had NEVER had anything even similar to this happen at any other pharmacy before. It was also not insurance related, I didn't have it at the time.
At the end of it all I'll still go to this shoppers but I have now transfered any and all prescriptions I had/have to another pharmacy and will not be using it again.

Completely incompetent Pharmacists/pharmacy. Was trying to ask about antibiotics since I’ve had a bacterial infection for 3 days now.

This has got to be one of the lost dysfunctional pharmacies I’ve been to in my life. They are unhelpful, constantly hang up abruptly right after talking because they don’t want you to continue. They will take your prescription and say it can be filled and then call you later telling you they can’t after you’ve waited. They never have stock, and quite frankly are unprofessional and unkind. There have been more than one instances so it’s not just a one off. I recommend going literally anywhere else.

Hi everyone. I’m so pleased with Forest Lawn Shoppers Drug Mart. I spoke with Candace at that location, and she went so much more above to help me in my crisis. I chatted with Candace regarding crutches that I desperately need. She even tore into the pallets to retrieve a set that showed on her inventory. They weren’t on the shelves, so she dove right into the inventory shipped, on the pallets, and got the the crutches I needed. No one knows exactly how important and absolutely needed, these crutches came to me Today! Thank you Candace for all your help and you went above and beyond for my desperately needed crutches. Thank you Shoppers Drug Mart and your employees. They all do more than their job, Candace cared, and the communication was immaculate. We need more Candace’s out there. She needs a raise for exactly what I witnessed for her unconditional caring. Thank you and look forward to do more business with Shoppers Drug Mart Forest Lawn Thank you Candace. I have bought hair items here and it's been alright. But they cannot help with pharmacy related things. I asked where I can go to get a strep throat test and they could not help. The Shopperz in high river used to always test for strep. Sub par is this place I would say.

The pharmacy staff is disorganized and disrespectful! The first time, I called to get a prescription filled and they said it will be ready in an hour, but told them that I will be in the next day to pick it up. When I got there, is wasn't ready and was told that there's no refills and told me that was my responsibility to know. Also, hardly anything is on the shelves. With all that much staff, someone should know what they are doing? I've been to a few Shoppers and Forest Lawn location is by far the worse!

The second time I needed a prescription done for my mom on the 23rd of December and the pharmacist was argumentive and ride once again said there's no refills and had to contact my doctor to get it refills, but my clinic was closed until the 27th. This is the last time I will deal with Forest Lawn Shoppers!

Horrible staff at the pharmacy highly recommended going to people who actually went to medical school
