The pharmacy is very slow and not overly friendly. They do there minimum. Once they told me it would be ready in 30 mins. I went home came back later and had to wait another 30mins. When I went in for compression stocks and wanted to order some stuff for them they refused my buisness after telling me it would take a week to come in. Unfortunately the service has not been good for the last year. It did use to be better years ago.

I received excellent travel health advice and travel medication from Rani (the pharmacist). She is was extremely helpful, knowledgable and provided me with everything I needed for my trip. Not only did she prepare me with all the things that I needed, she also provided medications for any additional 'just in case' moments! I felt travel-ready and knew I was safe because I had everything I needed while travelling. Rani was very thorough and helpful!

I'm visiting from out of province and I suddenly had an asthma attack, without access to my inhaler. In a near panic attack as well, the pharmacist that I called was able to make out my information in between my gasps for air and call the pharmacy back home and fill my prescription ASAP.

I didn't catch her name, unfortunately (low oxygen brain fog) but THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Giving a 5 star review to the pharmacist Jackie who was SO kind and helpful. My sister and I are travelling and didn’t realize we needed a vaccine. It was incredibly last minute and poor planning on our part.
Jackie was not judgemental, talked me through the shot and administered it within 15minutes of me walking into Shoppers.

Thank you Jackie! Shoppers is lucky to have you and should definitely give you a raise!

*Edit, several months later. I had to use this location again because I needed something quickly, and the experience was much better. So I've continued to use them, and not only has the service become better, it's amazing! There definitely was a time where I had consistent issues, but it seems the problems have all been sorted out (and the people who were causing the issues are no longer there it seems).

I'm leaving the original review below- to me, the most important thing is that there has been such a massive change, and I'm impressed!

I came in to pick up up something today, and I thought I'd check to see if there was any chance they could have a prescription I submitted online ready for me. I had only submitted it about 20 minutes earlier. It was not only ready, but the staff were all quick and friendly. While the below issues existed, I'm confident now after consistent excellent service that they have the issues sorted out.

I've officially given up on the pharmacy here. I have no idea why, but almost every time I drop off a prescription, they tell me it was filed but not filled when I go to pick it up the next day, then they make me wait.

Today was the last straw. They filled 2 prescriptions, but the third was only filed. I'm writing this review as I wait once again.

I wish I knew how this could happen so many times. But I won't bother finding out. I've been burned too many times to come back here.

I’ve only recently moved to the area and switched to this Shoppers Drug Mart, and after 3 times coming to pick up prescriptions, I am very impressed. Lynn especially, goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you need in a timely manner. I had some troubles this week with the photo submission prescription service, and Lynn made sure that when I came in to drop off and pick up the prescription that it was a nice and quick process. Definitely recommend this location!

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, and I have given this location many chances, and every time I end up more disappointed than the last.

I’m a current longtime employee of other SDM locations, and the front store staff at this location are both unprofessional and seemingly clueless. (My limited experiences with the other departments of the store have been pleasant, however this review is primarily reflective of the neglect and failure to comply with decent customer service from the front and floor staff.)

My recent two experiences have been me calling ahead and asking to put an item aside for me to pick up later in the day - usually on my way home from work. The location I currently work at is on the smaller end, and we can’t carry much of what the larger locations carry. Both times I have spoken to ‘Justin’ who has put the items aside for me, only for me to swing by a few hours later and find out he sold them before I could get there, and I am told with a shrug and very little remorse that he failed to even put a note on merchandise to dissuade others from selling. In my experience working under a couple different owners and a couple different stores, this is not how you put items aside. Usually I’ve held things till closing; not just 30 minutes after talking on the phone. I don’t live very far, but the two items have been Nintendo games and arrive at stores in small quantities. It’s been a extremely frustrating to leave work and rush over here and leave empty handed. Other times I am here, I am treated coldly and cashiers have been almost intentionally careless when scanning and bagging my items. I’d love to just use self-check, but employees must go through a cashier now.
I sincerely hope someone is able to set a good example for the employees that need further instruction on these areas of customer service.

Older asian woman with glasses at Post office is extremely unprofessional. I came with a package to send out, and she told me I needed to seal it shut and its "common sense" while laughing and shaking her head.
The reason I didn't seal it shut is because I've been going to this Post Office for more than 15 years, I have had previous experience where the Post Office clerk opens and checks inside the package to note the contents, quantity and value. When I had sealed packages they told me to open it for this purpose. So I left it open to be sealed at the Post Office for future shipments.
She told me I had to buy tape from Shoppers in order for her to seal the top for me. I said I know you can do it you have tape on your desk, Or I would have to drive all the way back home and then back to Shoppers for 1 small strip of tape.
Finally she gave up and used the stapler and tape on her desk to seal my package.
I have never had such a disrespectful and degrading experience at the Post Office.
Is there basic customer service training? I could not believe she would go as far as to insult a customers intelligence for something so simple. I have never had a problem with a Post Office clerk sealing the package infact it was insisted on previously.
Even UPS has no problem taping packages and boxes shut.
If employees are having a bad day or have some sort of prejudice they simply should not work customer service. After this interaction I felt upset to even visit the Post Office again. She seemed kind to Caucasian customers so I am assuming she feels comfortable to degrade others. I would rather drive to a location farther away then to deal with such horrible service.

Store did not honor the scanning code of practice. Checking my receipt I noticed a product scanned 10% higher than the advertised price. Staff Sadie refused to do anything, just said prices had increased and that what I had to pay. Spoke to supervisor, she came to check the price, then covered the advertised price with a sticker and refused to honor it. I asked to see the scanning code of practice, she read it to me but still refused to honor it as “they tried to cover the price”. Said I would have to come back and talk to the manager.

Sharon was incredibly helpful and caring as I had trouble with blood pressure. I had to be taken to the hospital and Sharon called them for me and made sure I was okay. She has been very helpful after as I have been trying to adjust my medication and prescription. She is very knowledgeable and very kind.

Excellent customer service and efficient process! Every time, I go to this Shoppers Drug Mart to purchase Beauty, Cosmetics, etc. I come home satisfied. Shout out to SADIE for her exceptional and professional customer service! What an amazing lady. She is full of positive energy, knowledgable, very friendly, patient and helpful. When I need to visit Shoppers to buy a product, I always go to this location and look for her because she always goes above and beyond to help me out. Her attention to details and her ability to ask the right questions to guide me to the right product are impressive. She is definitely a fine ambassador for Shoppers Drug Mart. Great Job, Sadie!

Very rude pharmacist, but yet used to really like their cosmetic products stuff until today… came in to return fragrance that I recently bought and they said no to my return … even though it was bought only a week ago, which is within the return policy and with the receipt. I had to go to another shop, aspen landing shoppers where stuff was more than helpful, they accepted the return and surprisingly carried more verity for fragrance)

This is probably the worst pharmacy I have had experience with. The staff is rude, not helpful. The amount of problems I’ve had getting insulin refills here is ridiculous. Told my prescription was ready to be picked up multiple times and then when I arrive they tell me they don’t have insulin stocked, I ask where to get it and they don’t help they are just rude. I do not recommend going here if you need life-saving medication because they will not take you seriously, or treat you with respect.

Saw a promotion that shoppers are giving out a $20 gift card when you purchase over $75. The promotion was valid for one day so I went there that morning and the cashier lied about how the gift card was all out since the day before (the promotion literally started that day?) I mean I understand that gift card can be all out, but why lie about it? I was really furious as this also happened last time, the cashier at the till told me that they are out of the gift cards so comeback the next day to receive it and when I went back they prevented it never happened. The staffs at other locations are really nice (like the one in Aspen Landing), but I am not sure why the staffs working at this locations are all like this? Really not satisfied with how unprofessional and rude the staffs are.

Staff wasn't helpful I feel that the color of my skin I was followed and when I asked for the they would change direction. I'm a very active woman in society. For this to happen I am completely disappointed. But what can you do when people are racist when they discriminate against people of color it is pathetic. Anyways one hateful person cannot kill it for the majority of people, I say this because there are many good people out there. God always wins and he shows these people, that's why they are the way they are and they wonder why life is so hard it's because they make it hard. I believe with all my heart what you put out is what you get. God bless and to anyone having to deal with this I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this everyday from people all over the place. But I asked of you there are still many amazing kind sweet in color blind to our skin tones. We all breathe the same air we all bleed the same color why can't we treat each other no matter what the skin color or where we come from. Have a wonderful night God bless

I’m not sure who manages this place but there is NEVER anyone at the til. You have to use self checkout and you have to chase down an employee when things go awry with self-checkout. Terrible customer service, obviously as a result of poor management
