Shoppers Drug Mart

We have been loyal customers at this location since they opened. Always greeted/welcomed by skin care staff as we enter. It was a bit awkward during renovations but that is now complete. This seems to be a very busy pharmacy and we were hoping the renovations would offer better location for prescription line ups and waiting area. There is also a noticeable change in staff which might account for some confusion over our medical coverage but the pharmacist "J. Chae" figured it out for us even though it was Sunday and they seemed a bit short staffed.
I look forward to using their postal services as staff are proficient and professional. Lynn is amazing and has the front end staff well trained. As for the rest of the store, it is always clean and well staffed. My compliments to the store manager who i see also working on the floor with his staff.
We are glad to have this store in our neighborhood.

Double check your cash/change before you leave the store, I've been shortchanged here a couple times.

This is my local shoppers. The manager is fantastic. I see her all the time over the store. Staff is friendly and helpful. Post office and pharmacy are always great too. My only "complaint" is sometimes they are very busy and it takes a bit of time to process scripts.

Staff comes up to you at register and sticks their noses in your items. If you want to feel disrespected come by.

Shoppers prices are ridiculous Thayers PH face wash is 18.97 at Walmart and 28.97 at Shoppers it was on sale for 22.97 still a significant difference.

The store is good with very good pharmacy and Canada post service.
The passport photo quality is terrible, avoid at all cost. They have no idea on how to take pictures. Please do not waste your time.
The customer service is spotty, with sometime rude service.

I love coming back to this store because of their lovely staff named Rose. She is friendly, helpful and nice to the whole family.

As a local who has shopped here before, I have never felt more unwelcome today. My friends and I came to browse the store for some snacks and beauty products and were immediately very obviously followed around by a security guard. I understand that this is their job, however, this particular security guard decided to follow us around very very closely, from aisle to aisle while we shopped and would even backtrack if we did. This made us all feel very pressured during our shopping experience and uncomfortable as well. The woman began interrogating us and accusing us of loitering about 30 minutes after we were there, saying that we were loitering for one hour which was simply untrue and I don't see how looking for items in a store without a very strict shopping list in mind is considered "loitering". Not everyone knows exactly what they're looking for when they enter the store and we all felt extremely uncomfortable at the behaviour from the security guard. I don't think it makes for a comfortable shopping experience for anyone to be followed around so aggressively and randomly accused when we were just shopping. I feel as if we were profiled and looking at other reviews, we are not the first ones.

For a long time I am a customer with this location but nobody treat me badly but today this is the worst Ive ever experience. I only asked this lady, name Reji to kindly process my online order because I really need it but she
said a harsh word which makes me humiliated. I don't come back in this location ever again. Very bad customer service.

In my experience, all the staff working here are friendly and helpful! They work together to make customers feel valued and comfortable.

I have been to this store so much, love Shoppers! There is always a nice lady in cosmetics who greats you on your way in and then there is a huge variety of products so I end up being able to get all the odds and ends on my list in one go. So great!

I feel so terrible for the cashiers at this location. They are by far the best in the city, yet I constantly see customers rip them apart. I’ve been going to this shoppers for years, thank you for the wonderful service!

**HEADS UP**- do not buy Apple Airpods from here. I bought a paid of (what I thought were) Airpods Pro 2nd generation (as the label, receipt and price of $359.99 suggested). My wife noticed the box was the same as the first gen (which is a lot cheaper and features older tech) and I checked with Apple and they verified they were the first generation based on the serial number on the box.

I called Shoppers Millrise and they said "Just bring it back and we'll return it". The store is well out of my way and I came from near downtown because we were going to be in the area. I asked them out of curiosity what would have happened if I opened the packaging and they told me over the phone "Don't worry about 'what if questions', you didn't open it so bring it back" which kind of shocked me to hear. I feel really bad for folks who bought them and found out (or worse, never did find out) after they opened them. I informed Apple this was happening so hoping this will be addressed and won't happen to anyone else.

I’ve lived in the area for 6 years. Every time after a long day of work and I look a little tired and I need to grab things the employees follow me around. I don’t steal, I’m just an indigenous person. So sick of the racial profiling even by other ethnic people. Just because I’m tired, probably tough looking from a tough day and most importantly NATIVE…. Doesn’t mean I’m going to steal. There were other people my age in the store why do the employees always follow me?

The women working at the beauty boutique when you walk in the front door have never made any effort to greet me or offer assistance of any kind, while they greet every other non person of colour warmly and intentionally. Very obvious and not discreet at all that they treat people of colour differently than others. I have only felt this at the beauty boutique and found the rest of the staff very nice.
