The worst! I went today to return two expired snack packs of tuna from Cloverleaf. I bought them last week and when I opened one at lunch and ate the first cracker I could tell it was off. I looked at the expiry date and it had expired September 22,2022. I took my receipt one of the full packs of tuna and the other box that just had the crackers in it as I had thrown the tuna out and the guy at the til Charan, told me I should have returned the tuna. My question to shoppers where should I have kept the tuna it was expired it was gross and yet you wanted me to hold onto it for six days until I could get back to shoppers to return it? How ridiculous! Charan did not apologize however he did make it seem like it was my fault. The staff here management and overall most of the workers are horrific! My biggest mistake is that I have continue to go there! No more! I understand why your overall reviews are 2.3!

I purchased 375+ value of products a week ago and they are are having gifts for and purchase over. Since it was a week ago and they do have the return policy for 30 days anyway, thought I just go in to ask if I can get the gift too. Or I could just return and repurchase to get it anyway if I really want it that bad. The lady told me to wait for her call to see if she can just get the manager to get me the gifts and she will call me. So I left. No response on 2nd day, and when I went. The other lady after told me that no I can not get is as it was go r yesterday when it was launched. She was just rude and being unreasonable with that she knew I was also in the store and could just purchase. She walks away while talks… and ask me to go to talk to manager who were at Evanston branch at that moment … could not believe she asked that! Very rude to customer who been using this store since the opening! Do not think I would want to go back to this store again!

Update - thanks for you offer of calling you customer services which will take very long line of customer and getting responses of nothing can be done. Just like how you response to all other comments. Cuz the deal is now over but he time review the case. It is Ok … do not really care for that minimum gift set. Not taking extra of my time to help you improve. I will just pass those 2 locations. Thanks

We had a very unpleasant experience when trying to my son’s flu shot today at Shoppers Creekside. He’s 5.5 years old. He is scared that it will hurt. Let alone getting some compassion and help from the pharmacist, we were kicked out quickly so they could get the next appointment. We couldn’t get the flu shot.

I changed to this pharmacy hoping for better service. I tried to pick up a refill today. I had been emailed that it was ready. One Pharmacist, no customers waiting. I stood and waited as the Pharmacist did something with products on the shelf. He then sat down at the computer. I assumed he was in the middle of something but could, at least, acknowledge me. He did not and then took a phone call. He had looked, directly, at me so he knew that I was there. After the phone call, he started to do something else. After 10 minutes and no acknowledgment I asked to pick up my prescription. He then told me that I would have to wait 10 minutes. 20 minutes to pick up one prescription with no other customers waiting and he couldn't be bothered to even acknowledge me to begin with? Just let me stand there. Terrible service. I left without the prescription and may get them all transferred elsewhere.

By far the worst pharmacy in Calgary. They cant get orders right. They cant understand english, you must repeat yourself 10 times on everything and even when you manage to get your medication it doesnt come in its standard package but some weird almagamation. Id reccomend driving to aridrie if it was the only other option.lol.

My prescription was $60. When I asked why, the pharmacist said my insurance didn’t go through. I asked why. She said “I don’t know, it just didn’t” and rolled her eyes. I asked her to try again and she got another pharmacist to enter my insurance manually and lo and behold it went through right away and only cost me $13. So rude for literally no reason

The Staff there especially the lady that took my order was very rude and is good in denying it! The two other staff that tried to see what happened didn't do anything at all to resolve the problem. I did not like the way she was talking to me so when she told me to wait and sit there somewhere, I said before i left the counter so rude! I was leaving the area and was about to do some shopping at the store but she went to the pick up counter to get my attention and argue with me that she was not rude at all. These were the instances of her rudeness 1) I have two prescribed meds but the other one is not available immediately and needs to be ordered. I was okay with it I told her. She suggested if I want I can check the Shoppers Drug Mart at Beacon Hill and get all my order there. I ask if she can call before I go there to make sure I can do it there. But she replied rudely' No, I am not calling for you, you have to do the research yourself". So i said then there is no need for me to drive here and there if they don't have it anyway. (2) The other unavailable cream is expensive and if am willing or can pay for it? She said they normally require a deposit. I was all okay with it. I told her i have insurance it might help me a bit with the price reduction. She replied she doesn't know if they will take it. I insisted on giving my card. She repeated the same question if I am able to pay for it. So I said, I guess I have to heal so yes I will pay. (3) As she was arguing with me that she treats all her customers the same way, I said not with me because I did not like how you were talking to me and I was trying to be patient with her. She was switching her story that I was doing it to her maybe because she was a Filipina. I responded, I am a Filipina too just so you know. This is the worst- she returned my prescription and said "go find my drugs somewhere else". I was shocked at her reaction- I said is this the way you treat your customers? They are in need of medicine and just because you have arguments you will just deny them of their medicines? The other white lady who tried to assist was biased. The last pharmacist who tried to come for a rescue had obviously did not do much too. I said, I am in pain and i need the med. In the end, I said I want my prescription back and the Asian lady said give it back to her! Am not going to buy my medicine here anymore nor will I ever support this place by buying anything at all. NEVER AGAIN! Save your time and energy!

Generally never had an issue with this location and will continue to shop here however, my latest interaction with the pharmacy leaves me questioning whether I will fulfill my prescriptions here in the future.

I am severely anaemic and use prescription strength iron supplements. I have insurance benefits and have never been charged off the shelf pricing for my iron tablets. I had my script over to the assistant and after a quick glance she hands me a over the counter bottle of iron and advises me they are off the shelf and do not require a prescription.

I end up paying $75 dollars for the bottle that should have been covered by insurance. I got in touch with my GP who rx’d the tablets and he was flabbergasted. His wife takes the same iron as well as multiple other patients he has prescribed it for and it most certainly is not off the shelf.

I’m generally not a confrontational person and had just let it slide that day, but I do feel that the customer service and attentiveness to detail is seriously slipping at the Creekside Shopper Drug Mart.

I understand with the pandemic still wrecking havoc with the world that the pharmacy may be over worked and perhaps understaffed. But to keep good, loyal customers returning maybe some further training and coaching would be of benefit to staff in the pharmacy and beauty departments.

Amending my above post after being contacted from a lovely member of the pharmacy team.

He took the time to go through the transaction and apologized on the behalf of the pharmacy. It shows integrity and solid morals going above and beyond to call a customer and thoroughly discuss the situation at hand. Kudos to this kind gentleman for caring enough to look into what had happened. Very much appreciated and encourages me to give the pharmacy another shot going forward!

The older woman with died red hair working in the cosmetic department was very rude. Says shes worked for your company for 15 years. I think you should take a close look at the way she's representing your brand and treating your customers.

Rosa from Shoppers Drug Mart (Creekside) is the most rude sales person I have ever met. Her attitude is simply horrendous! She should not be in customer service. She is damaging the Shoppers brand-name.

I entered the shop happy but I left with a VERY bad experience. She made me feel unwelcomed and small about who I am. If she had a bad morning, she should keep it to herself and not pass on the bad vibes to customers. The management team should seriously review her employment.

It was 9: 30am on Valentines Day (this morning) and I decided to get a bottle of perfume for a family member. I finally settle on a $200 bottle of perfume. While I was checking out, she made some condescending remarks and stared at me. I hope it is not because I'm of Asian descent.

She then went on to say in a very rude way, "if you open it, you cannot return it. You know that right? " I said I know and bought it anyway. But as I was shopping for more items at the grocery area, I felt really bad about the whole experience and so I went back to return it.

Instead of letting her know that it was her attitude that I am returning the product, I gave an excuse that my family member wanted something different (as an excuse) and that's why I am returning it. That is when she started banging everything on the counter top. The cash-register, everything. I was like wow, she definitely has anger management issues! She then shouted over the microphone asking someone to come over to help her because her cash-register code didn't work.

OMG, it was the most awkward and bad customer experience I've ever experienced.

I have always had good experience at Shoppers, but this experience is concerning.

Management of Loblaw/Shoppers, please do something if you want to keep your customer. Your reputation is tarnished because of front-facing sales people like Rosa.

By far the worst Shoppers I have been to. The pharmacy is so unorganized. They don't follow through on ANYTHING (I.e ordering in medication, faxing refills to doctor's office etc). Terrible, don't waste your time here especially the pharmacy.

Yesterday, I picked a lipstick to purchase that shows the sticker on sale. There were sale price tags on each shelf so that means all shelves under Revlon had sale. Otherwise there was no sale price tag there. First I was standing in line for payment and a young fellow CSR asked me to do self checkout, I told him that items are on sale so I prefer the counter but he asked and I listened and went to self checkout. But item didn’t show on sale and as always he went to see the price tag and agreed that it’s on sale. Then I was taken to beauty counter where that rude Manager Jessie said again to show her the shelf. When she came back she took the price tag off and said no this shelf only was not on sale. She didn’t honour the price and not even was sorry about having the price tag on wrong spot. As a customer when we see the sale we choose our shades by spending time and then at the end the Manager says my team worked hard to put the tags on and was not even apologetic for her behaviour and not even sorry for putting tags on wrong spot. I didn’t raise my voice like I have usually seen customers do and at the end they get the product on sale price but I have worked in retails and customer services so I didn’t want to behave loud.
The concern was then brought to other counter and a CSR Scott got my contact details to bring it to senior manager’s attention. I hope they take some action on that rude beauty manager as I am a customer of this location from more than 12 years and they don’t even care a bit for their loyal customers. I hope she learns a lesson.

I had called in Saturday night around 8pm, and a lady answered the phone (I can't remember her name) but I had concerns about a certain product that I had recently bought. And her customer service was absolutely amazing, the advice she had given me had given me a sense of hope that customer service these days are still helpful and not rude. She sounded so optimistic and happy compared to other places with no emotions whatsoever. Going into the store around 10: 30pm I had returned the product, the lady had black long hair but couldn't get her name as other people needed assistance! 100% recommend.

This pharmacy consistently has problems filling prescriptions. Even if you have them faxed in many hours in advance they only seem to prepare them once you get there. Today I even called ahead to ask if my prescription would be ready only to find out they hadn't prepared it after having the prescription for over 5 hours. They told me 15 minutes. When I got there that they didn't even have it in stock. Sadly this isn't even the first time this has happened.

For a pharmacy where people might be depending on timely access to medication this is totally unacceptable. Plenty of other local businesses would love the business. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I went to this location for a second COVID testing for inbound travelers. This is the only one location in Calgary which picked up the phone and booked the second test, all other locations just disconnected their phones to avoid dealing with high volumes of phone calls regarding vaccination.
Staff was polite and professional.

Poor treatment by an individual called Jeff. For some it is a difficult and stressful decision/situation to get the COVID vaccine. Completely uncalled for to yell at customers trying to gain access for the vaccine, especially when the entire process is completely disorganized - proper signage and other measures, were non-existent - like none! Some people at this location are professional, polite and customer focused, Jeff is not one of them. Ultimately decided to walk away from my scheduled appointment, which they were incapable of honouring anyways (offered to take my name and number and call me when appt was avail - like they had done two days prior). Treating people and talking to people like they are livestock is not appropriate in my books. Starting today, we'll take our long standing business elsewhere. Good riddance 'Jeff'!

Security guard followed me around and stood at the end of the aisle until I left. That was really weird and uncomfortable; I don't think I've experienced that since 30 years ago in high school. Guess he thought I was going to steal something so he wanted to make his presence known. Not sure if its a good idea to have the security guard follow customers around the store; it gives off a pretty hostile vibe. Guess I'll be avoiding this Shoppers in the future.

Attended this pharmacy for my covid vaccination appointment. Provided staff with AHS direction (off of AHS website) where they are allowing front line workers to get the vaccine. Pharmacy staff refused to provide vaccination stating that the vaccine is for ‘Health Care workers only’ which is absolutely incorrect.

I went online to book my covid vaccination and I was put on a wait list. It's been 3 weeks and no one has called me back. I called them this week and they told me the online booking system is not working and they asked for my name and said they would contact me once a spot becomes available. I realized after we hung up the phone they didn't even ask for my phone number, so I'm curious if they even wrote it down? I tried calling them back and the line has been busy for days, it doesn't even ring! They want people to get their covid vaccinations but they can't even pick up the phone!? Terrible customer service and horrible booking system!

Worst pharmacy in the city, multiple times I have had my prescription sent to them in the morning and 8 hours later it is still not ready, when i show up they need more time and literally start filling my prescription as I am there and they can’t even get that right.they should stop selling drugs here before they end up hurting someone by giving them the wrong drug

Pharmacy manager is very unpleasant. Refills have to be according to her schedule not the prescription. Most pharmacists are control freaks, but she takes it to a new level. Wait times are getting worse, there is almost always a long line up, I think it’s time to move on. The only positive is that the assistants try hard to please the customer.

I bought a facial steamer. It didn't work. They refused to take it back because of covid-19. Really, i spent 60$ on a faulty product. When i went there, the store manager ask me to contact manufacturer. Why? I bought it from shoppers why would i go to manufacture.

If you can't own a product, then don't sell it. I ll be buying from Walmart instead in future, at least they own and take responsibility.

Absolutely unacceptable and extremely terrible service. My wife dropped off her prescription at the pharmacy and they gave her an hour wait time which is longer than usual. After waiting 1 hour they told her to wait 15 more minutes, after waiting 15 more minutes they told her to wait another 15 minutes. The pharmacists were heard snickering in the background but had no answer for when the prescription would be ready. Never going there to drop off our prescription again. Would not recommend.

I was really disappointed Sunday evening coming inside the store because the security guard isn’t their anymore, he provided the best costumer service and is super polite. I’m confused about why he isn’t there anymore, he was extremely good at his job and I have even seen him caught people stealing.

Very unpleasant pharmacy cashier. Maybe a thank you or a have a nice day or even a hello would be kind. I've asked several times to have the prescription set up for auto refill. Each time I go to pick it up the prescription it is never ready. The last time a gentleman who works in the pharmacy was apologetic and assured me it was fixed in their computer. This time they didn't even acknowledge when I said it was supposed to be on auto refill. It was like I was a huge pain and the cashier didn't want to be bothered.

Normally this place is alright but tonight's visit was poor to say the least. Horrible rude lady at the front. 5 minutes till closing and she tells me "you better get what your looking for fast and get out" I felt offended. What kind of customer service is this? This is how you treat paying customers. I hope she is not in a supervisor/managmement position. Horrible service, I will stop going there, lost my business. I work in customer service and if we are open, we stay open and serve the customer until the last minute. I wouldn't even mind staying a minute or two later because I understand how to treat customers with respect unlike this entitled "lady".

Pharmacy staff is pretty nice but the merchandisers and other staff that answer the phone are extremely rude and dont even look for the item you're looking for beofte saying they dont have it in stock. I work at shoppers and have searched the system to confirm they have an item and they still say they dont have it.
The post office employee is nice.

Worst possible customer service. Staff is unfriendly and most of them don't even know their updated store policies.
Just a piece of advice: If you guys have new policies in places for your customers to follow then please make sure your staff is well aware about it as well.

Horrible pharmacy department. Never calls you back when orders are filled as they say they would. 48hrs just to fill a simple order? Wish I had never given them a large prescription. Now I'm stuck with them for a while because they won't give the prescription back to me to transfer it to another pharmacy.

Pharmacy was rude, my fiance needed a refill for his puffer and our store is closed for some reason. Hes almost out, the pharmiscist said it should last 30 days it's been 23 days and especially testing the puffer to see if it works. Bad customer service.

Horrible, uncaring, incompetent customer service. My husband and I spent $329 on Oct 26. The cashier emailed us a receipt. He Gabe did not give us one of our bags containing many expensive items. He did not alert us to this and although he emailed us the receipt did not email us to say we has left a bag behind.
When we tried to call the store no one answered for the longest time and we were put on hold for several minutes. When a woman finally answered she was rude and hung up on me after I asked her to talk to management about what had happened and our concerns. She told me I would need to call myself and hung up. There was NO APOLOGY and she came across as if she did not communicate with anyone at the store.

So my friend battled the pharmacist for the last couple months over a parking spot. Funny I know. She has worked there over 2.5 years and NEVER had an issue. He went out of his way to purchase Pylons and put them in the two spots beside the loading dock and then he would take them down after she started her shift and parked else where. Well Now if anyone is wondering why he has 1 Hour parking signs ONLY on the North/Left side of the entrance is because it was the only way for him to get her not to park in the spot she has parked in for 2.5 Years. Grow up and go harass someone else, this is actually the most disgusting thing I have ever had someone tell me before. The extent you had to go through over 1 parking spot in an entire empty lot, lets be honest has anyone ever been in Shoppers with more then 5 people walking around. I will personally never shop here again.

The best ever associate i meet is Mariam I found her always very pleasant, willing to help, very professional and knowledgeable, hard working, helpful. She is fabulous.
I would say she an asset for Shoper drug mart.

Refused to return a product bought at a shoppers drug mart, unopened, still within the 30 days stated on the receipt. No where on the receipt does it state that you need to return to the original store, and on the website, the information is not easily found (had to phone shoppers drug mart head quarters to guide me to this information). Not in a consumers best interest to shop here. I would give it zero stars if it would let me.

I have done my shopping at this Shoppers Drug Mart for years. The beauty staff are amazing but the Manager named Linda was absolutely awful. My 20x the points weren't put on my card and I had spent almost 200 dollars there so I took in my receipt and my app from my phone to get her to add them. The new clerk needed an over ride so she called Linda who was on her lunch break. Linda came and did the over ride and told the new girl to carry on. The new girl swiped my app but the points wouldn't load. The girl working next to her was busy but told her that they could do it and to call the Manager again. Linda came back and was obviously annoyed. She didn't even try to help. She said to me that I had to call PC Optimum. I would be okay if she couldn't do it but she showed no customer service skills at all. She seemed much more interested in getting back to her break. I never write bad reviews but she just wasn't professional or helpful at all. I guess I was disappointed because I am a good loyal customer and it just wasn't a good experience.

We went to get coffee cream, when we were at the cashier the lady said: we are closing because we have a life too you know. I was not expecting that so I only remind to her how unprofessional was that, we were out by 5: 57pm. Update your hours in your website be specific when you are close. Have a person at the door for a frindlfr reminder.
That cashier needs couching and understand what is customer service. I would appreciate a feed back on this matter. ItIt happen on December 25th at 5: 57
