This pharmacy is great if you want to be treated like an inconvenience and given a janky bottle that spills everywhere every time you try to get liquid out because the part you need to put the syringe into just pops out. Don't go back and ask for help, though, they have your money and care even less about customer service than they did when you were dropping off and picking up your prescription.
Before shoppers H. O.comments to tell me to call the number, I'm not going to, I've told you what you need to know, it's in your hands now.

Horrible experience at this location with the male pharmacist, not compassionate at all and quite rude at times, makes you feel rushed and gives short answers to important questions, in the future I will avoid going to this location because of his lack of duty as a pharmacist.

AVOID if possible! Called about 4 times today to get my prescription transferred from Calgary to here. Not a single answer or call back each time I called (I’d let it ring for minutes.) Super unprofessional. Went to the save on foods pharmacy instead: it’s just as close and the staff was amazing.

The girls that work the pharmacy are quit rude and unprofessional, Maybe Shoppers could offer some schooling in personal relations. Until then I will never go back.

Pharmacy is terrible, verging on predatory. Always specify that I want the maximum fill on my prescriptions and they often fill one month, and I have to wait for them to re do the prescription for the max fill.

If I'm having this problem, I suspect it's not isolated to just me.

VERY disappointed.went into shoppers the beauty departments.stated I'd be making a bigger purchase and wounding if they could give me a few extra samples as I was helping getting stuff for the women's shelter for Easter basket. I was told by an older lady in a very rude manner. No we don't give out samples.well first off when ever I have spent 200. I have always got a few samples and second your rude tone.probably cause am dressed in work clothes was not needed. On top of that I asked for a basket to put my stuff in as there was non at either door and it was if I was just annoying this lady. I walked over to the other row and bought 209 worth of stuff for these baskets non in the Beauty departments as that lady does not deserve any type of commission. I will make the drive across town from now on.very disappointing.

Service at the Airdrie Shoppers Kingsview has really gone downhill since new ownership took over.
1. You get notified when your prescription is ready (which is great). The problem is when you go to pick it up, they quite often have problems finding it. They have a weird system where bags are kept in 4 different places and they often go back and forth trying to find yours. Recently, they could not find mine even though their own system said it was complete. They had to quickly redo the order.
2. We have had balance owing on pills multiple times where they only give you a partial prescription and you have to go back a day or two later to get the rest. Frustrating and inconvenient.
3. We have been shorted on medication. We paid for 2 boxes of 3 but got 1 box of three and 1 box of 2. They would not correct it because they would not open a new box. So they had to give us a refund. But now our monthly supply is messed up.
4. I get a puffer with a counter on it so I know how many puffs are left. One time they covered the counter with the instruction label.
5. Going there for 10 years, we never had to tell them we had 2 insurances because it was all on file. Now we are told that we have to let them know every time we take in a prescription.
6. The attitudes of the people working there has change since new ownership. Most of the good people who used to work there have left. The newer people are sloppy and lackadaisical. Not sure what happened but the professionality has gone away. This is concerning because medications are important and they cannot get it wrong. I just don't trust them anymore.
Too many things going wrong with this Shoppers. We are not going back. And when we told them that we were not coming back, they did not seem to care.

We have had nothing but problems with this pharmacy.in addition to several issues in the past, most recently, multiple times we have gone to pick up medication and are told there's a balance owing, we have to mention that there are 2 insurance coverages and then are told the last time they ran it, one of the coverages was declined but this time it went through. This has happened several times and never happens anywhere else we go. My wife went to pick up her medication that she gets every month, she was being given the generic brand this time and the pharmacist tried telling her she always gets this, she advised she has never seen that box or brand and even mentioned when dropping off the prescription she wants the name brand. She was then told our insurance wouldn't cover it and that's why she was given the generic brand, my wife had to ask for it to be run and the insurance covered it just like they always do. After this last incident we will not be coming back. The reviews here about the pharmacy are a reflection of just how terrible it really is. Save yourself the trouble and go to Save-On across the street.

There was a dog locked in a hot car yelling in their parking lot here and when I told staff, they rolled their eyes and told me they could do nothing.a simple intercom could have saved the poor dog right away.but I had to call the police for them.never coming back.

Thank you to the staff at the post office. It’s nice to see you checking identification. Some people just don’t appreciate that, it’s for THEIR protection Thank you to the manager for making sure your staff is following policy and procedures put in place by Canada Post. June is always so sweet and helpful. Unfortunately most people think the staff is rude for doing their job. Keep up the great work.

Firstly, NOONE actually understands the amount of workload / faxes this pharmacy receives due to Covid-19. Doctors now mainly write RXs from phone appointments and just send faxes over. I’m SURE it’s 100s and 100s of people they are helping a day. The whole world is short staffed / stressed while recovering from the pandemic. SO BE NICE and think about your “review” before bashing someone/something you don’t truly think about!

I feel sorry for this Pharmacy who have to deal with customers who want want want everything NOW and just don’t understand that there are hundreds of people who want/expect the same. There is only so much that can be done in a short amount of time. Maybe think about it, thousands of people in a city who are all wanting the same thing whether that’s a prescription, testing, injections. Of course there will be a back log and a wait time as there are most likely people ahead who are also WAITING.you aren’t the only one in the city and also the fact there is a shortage of products DUE to the pandemic, out of their control.

They are amazing and all willing to help the Airdrie community, cheers to this pharmacy who are willing to help you help them make their job easier. THANK YOU HEALTH CARE WORKERS!

Forced to use self check out, only to run into complications that required " a real person" to assist. After a considerable wait, finally some one showed up to assist, where upon I was ordered to STEP BACK 6 FEET. It is my opinion that a little LESS rude behavior would go a long way. I will take my business elsewhere!

Terrible pharmacy.
Called and was on hold for over 10 minutes for a simple question just to get hung up on. Call again I didn't wait as long and same thing hold please and then hung up.

The pharmacy staff here is really great. We fill quite a few prescriptions regularly, and they always take the time to check the medications carefully and discuss any possible interactions. They're always friendly and helpful with questions too. Thank you for keeping up this level of service even during Covid.

Horrible Pharmacy.

It takes forever to get through to them, when you do they want to delay filling your prescriptions for as long as possible. "Hey can you pick up these life saving drugs in 2 business days" They never seem to have diabetic supplies on hand and don't call to let you know they are in until DAYS later and when you do go pick them up they can't process your insurance because of "system errors"

There just seems to be no accountability. How disappointing.

I took my prescription for eye drops over at 10 a.m. I was told to come back in an hour, i came back 4 hours later and prescription was not ready I was told to come back in half hour. No way way I ask for my prescription back and took it to another pharmacy - not Shoppers - 20 minutes later i they had it ready.

They constantly advertise sale items and do not have them in stock. I thought bait and switch was illegal but shoppers drug mart doesn't seem to care. I spend about $4000-$6000 per year at shoppers but i'm pretty much done with them. I should not have to drive to 5 different stores during a pandemic in -30 weather to find a 6 pack of coke zero when they advertise it on sale EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND! If it happened once or twice, it may be an accident but when it happens multiple times per month, its obviously intentional. If it they continue to use bait and switch sales tactics, i'll take my business to rexall and safeway.

Pharmacy was great. Vanessa knows her stuff. Manager at the post Office June was extremely helpful. Cashier named Ceanna at the front cash very sweet. All very professional and kind.

Thank you so much Darlene in the Pharmacy for helping me out with all the stuff I needed. I had to pick up stuff for an upsetting diagnosis, but Darlene's happy infectious spirit rubbed off on me and she put me at ease when teaching me how to use the product. Thanks for turning my bad week around! My new favourite Pharmacy because of her.
The pharmacist was also very helpful and informative with my vaccinations at the same time. Thank you ladies!

Always a quick shop with great deals. Pharmacy is fast at filling prescriptions and always very friendly yet professional. Also my favourite place to get perfumes and cosmetics. Tons of choices and a very helpful team throughout the store:)

I have been reading some of the reviews and honestly it makes me sad. We ALL have gone through a terrible year with this pandemic. So some of the complaints I have read, especially within this last year surprises me. Essential workers have gone into work every day during this scary time so we, AS CUSTOMERS, can get what we need or frankly just want. Our medications, our essentials like shampoo and toothpaste. Sending and receiving our mail. To the ones complaining about having to wait at the pharmacy, I know it’s frustrating when you or a loved one isn’t feeling well, but remember there could be 10 others before you getting a prescription filled. They are not feeling well either. The staff aren’t intentionally making you wait. These are trying times. To the people complaining about the cashier not doing their returns. They are only doing their job and following return policies. Maybe it was clearance and a final sale. And to the people complaining about the post office. Maybe you were not the first person to ask them for tape to attach your labels (Also maybe take the time to read the instructions on the amazon website.just saying) They could have had 50 people before you asking the same thing. It’s not all about us. Just because they can’t give us what we think they should doesn’t mean they are rude. Were you rude to them? These workers deserve to be treated kindly, especially during this time. So Please when reading these reviews, we are only getting one side of the story and in my experience the customer is NOT always right. Be nice. Cheers.

I have been looking for a new pharmacy and as I was skimming through the reviews for this location and one of the reviews caught my eye. It was the review about the Post Office Manager. The review was very scathing towards the manager and it caught my eye because I was standing in line behind the lady that wrote it. It’s hard to forget such entitled behaviour. The customer had about 5 maybe 6 Amazon returns. The manager told her that the labels would need to be attached to each parcel. The customer asked her for some type of envelope for them. The manager explained to her she didn’t have any because her order was delayed due to covid 19. The customer then pulled out some kind of notebook and told the manager she has called Canada Post several times about her and she had to supply her with these clear envelopes. The manager again told her she couldn’t give her something she didn’t have and as far as the complaints she wouldn’t have any feedback on them because she worked for Shoppers and they take customer complaints very seriously. She asked the lady going forward to please attach her labels but would get some tape from the back and attach them that day. After giving the customer her receipts she went on her way. I apologized to the manager for this customers behaviour because she just seemed shocked about the customers reaction. Then I read the review that was horrible about someone just doing their job. But when I read she wouldn’t be back to this location I smiled and thought, I am sure this manager will appreciate that. This is the first review I have ever written but I wanted my side out there. I hope the owner will see this and know her post office manager was calm and courteous that day regardless on how she was treated. Thank you and God bless.

This is a great location. Every department. I would like to say something about the girls in the post Office. I was there one day getting a package ready so I was there for a bit. The number of people that came in wanting free shipping supplies for their “free” returns was incredible. Do they not know it’s not up to that store to provide them with tape etc. They are an outlet so they need to purchase the supplies you want for free from Canada Post. I saw 10 “ free” amazon returns at least come through and that location made ZERO money from these customers. So giving these clerks grief because they are to cheap to stick the “free” label on their box is beyond me. The staff is awesome and do not deserve this treatment. And it’s so busy I don’t know how they do it. Well done Post Office staff.keep it up.

We have had great service using the pharmacy for ever! But the last conversation I had with them, left me alittle upset lady on the phone maybe she was new, but she was super rude. Not good costumers service coming form her.
A mix up on there end with medication.

I just might be switching to a new pharmacy.

At roughly 12: 30 yesterday, before our daughter had surgery, the surgery office faxed in her prescription for pain management, to the East Shoppers Drug Mart, so it would be ready for pick up on our way home. When I arrived at 3: 30, with child already in pain, they informed me that they had received the fax and seen as how we were there, they would fill it and we would only have to wait an hour. (A message from Shoppers on our answering machine when we got home told us that our prescription would be ready any time after 7: 00 last night). Needless to say we went to another Pharmacy, where we will now be getting all our prescriptions as this is the second time we have had similar problems, and the prescription was filled while we waited, about ten minutes in all. Shoppers Drug Mart - your customer service skills and empathy need some work and if there was an option, I would have given you a zero!

Very rude went to buy my 12 year old daughter make wife and daughter was treat rudely.had questions did not get answer just got told what they can’t do for us. Then as one employee argued with the other forgot to give us change.

Friendly staff, clean and well organized store but the pharmacy is so slow. I always have had my prescription faxed over. It is prepackaged and on the self. It doesn’t matter if they have 2 hours or a full work day, when I show up, I always have to wait half an hour for them to take it off the self and put my prescription stickers on it.

Manager refused me entrance at 8 am due it being seniors hours. No signage was posted outside of the store.nor online. I showed up at 8 am, with only one other person (another non senior). She was allowed entrance but I wasn't. I wasn't looking to spend hours, all I needed was allergy medication.

The “Manager” June in the Canada Post office at this location is extremely rude not helpful and just mean. I have put in 3 complaints now with Canada post as she won’t help me with returns. Refuses to give me supplies and makes me buy tape instead of providing the pouches for prepaid returns. She has specifically told me “ good luck with calling Canada post I work for shoppers” I have called and spoken to the Branch manager at shoppers. Unfortunately her customer service hasn’t changed.
I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION. ILL GO OUT OF MY WAY AND LEAVE MY COMMUNITY TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS WOMEN.

Love this beauty boutique as it carries extensive lines of my favorites (origins especially). Yesterday when I came in a beauty associate insisted she ring my purchase in at the far back till next to the perfume. Away from the other associates. She took my phone to scan my optimum card and set it down on the far side away from me. She printed off a small piece of receipt paper and copied my card number on it from my phone screen without my permission. After asking her what she’s doing she told me they are “taking points inventory as some people have had their points stolen”. I found this suspicions as my number was all she wrote down.not my name or personal info or points accumulated on this purchase. After some more asking she proceeded to show flash me an iPad “this is where we keep track of it all”. That was extremely suspicious and unusual to me. I’ve never had this happen before. If my points were compromised I’d be changing my password on my optimum account not giving my card number to some random person. I made her give me the paper she wrote my number down on and left promptly. Not impressed at all with that shady behavior.

I've been disappointed by the Beauty Boutique every time I've come in; the first time the Spring Beauty event, where the Lancome rep skipped my appointment to assist her friends, the second attempt at finding a foundation had me ignored in a chair after two other customers came in, and the third was a rule that boutique products can only be purchased at the boutique- after I waited through the line.

The cashiers at the front are always lovely, but I will be a Sephora customer for makeup from now on.

I get the sense that the seniors discount Thursday is more of a gimmick for this location. Every other Shoppers that I have been to on thursday for the last 3 years.they automatically give me the discount. I'm over 60 and the last 4 out of 5 times I've been to this location (this year). I have had to ask for it.most recent was I checked on the way out of store and noted no discount applied.again. I had to get cashier to redo.but frankly next time I think may head to another location and take my prescription business with me.
