This is the best shoppers drug mart i have ever been too! The selection is ok, the ambiance is alright as well. But what makes this store the best is the beauty boutique staff! In particular, Manisha! She is so smart and knowledgeable about the products, puts no pressure on you and is so friendly to just talk and ask questions about the different products. By far the best brand ambassador ive ever met! Thank you Manisha!

WORST SHOPPERS I’VE EVER HAD!
AND WORST ACTING MANAGER STAFF WHO CANT GIVE THE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION % IN A NICE WAY!

I was looking for one specific product and the online availability showed more than 30 in stock, but the sale told me none was in stock. It happened more than 3 times. It’s just disappointing and suspicious. Are you stocking up to sell to your “ favorite customers “ or to take kickback from some buyers? Unfair to regular customer. Please look into this issue.

I was racially profiled in this store in the fragrance section. Janice asked if I needed help, I said no. As I’m walking around smelling perfume I started to notice that she was looking over her shoulder at me and turning her body in each direction I went. So I purposely kept moving around the store to confirm if she was watching me and she kept doing the same thing! I asked to speak to the manager, Sylvie never took this serious at all - she said that they were having a lot of theft lately and she was “just doing her job” and said that she would “talk to her. ” Talk to her about what? You confirmed she was doing what you asked her to do so what?

Just got the snottiest, rudest and unhelpful person at the Canada Post section. I never write reviews but holy cow I have to write this one.

The first lady I got was lovely, understanding. I left the line when she couldn’t help me find a lost package and said to get more info.

When I returned with my email, she spoke to me in line and then assured me the person taking over would help me.

She could not have been more wrong.

She blatantly refused to even attempt. She acted like I was the sore on her life for even asking her to check anything or to answer any questions, that it was the bane of her life to speak to me. I just wanted some compassion after my package has disappeared thanks to a careless delivery person dropped off something of mine without leaving a paper slip, any help, hell, even a help number. She just said ‘call the 1800’ number and ignored me. What an absolutely miserable human being.

No wonder this shoppers has a terrible rating already. What a joke.

They always follow me around and watch me and the young girls who work in the beauty are so snobby and look at me rude.

They don't do returns any more in Market Mall Shoppers Drug Mart store, so I did it in another one. Have to time out this one.

Very very terrible customer service and shopping experience! If I can, I will give 0 stars! I spend 700$ in this store! I wanted to get a Guerlain rouge, and the lady gave me the wrong color, and I said it is the wrong color, and she said it is brand new; when you use it, it is the same color! So then I asked can I try it to make sure; she said no! You should buy it first, then you can return it. So I bought that, and then I tried it at home and it was the wrong color!
I went to the store again and said it was the wrong color. She said we don't have that color you want, but you can order it online in-store and return this one. After I ordered it online, they said we could not refund it. But you can do an exchange! I was shocked. The store manager was very rude, and after a long conversation, they gave me a gift card! I have never had such an experience.

I don't need people walking up and trying to sell me on credit cards while I'm just trying to shop.

I got sold a gift card that had a fake barcode stuck on top, the cashier didn't notice this and sold it to me anyway.i went in the next day to get a card that hadn't been tampered with and no one in the store was willing to help me, all i was offered was the 1-800 number.i'm really shocked that multiple employees acknowledged that this is a scam they've been dealing with lately (they even found another card on the shelf with a fake barcode in front of my face) and were still unwilling to get me a refund or a new working gift card.i should not be taking the $50 loss here for something that was the stores fault.

The highest calibre of incompetence resides at the pharmacy here. I can always bet 100% on them to screw up every single time. Please don’t go here if your life depends on it.

I have been visiting one Shoppers after another trying to find a certain fragrance. I was directed to the Market Mall location
I found the fragrance there and asked for a sample. I was VERY RUDELY refused and then Ignored after being pressed to take a sample in a previous store. I have cosmetician friends who work in other drug store chains. So I know about the use of samples. You have just lost a 185 + sale and a customer. Be assured I WILL tell my fragrance buying friends NOT to shop here

The pharmacy at this location is brutal and I recommend you go to any of the other 369 pharmacies in NW Calgary. I dropped off a script and was told to pickup in 30 mins so I came back 43 minutes later to be told it wasn't finished and then came back 2 hours later and it still wasn't packaged and ready for pickup and the best part is that the script was already prepackaged in a box and they didn't even have to package anything. I simply don't have time for these games and will not be returning. They couldn't even find the script at first and kept asking for my name about five times. Very poor business! Everything is so overpriced within the store as well that I refused to spend my money there. Don't shop here please and thank you:)

Excellent customer service, Megan was really helpful, friendly and the right person to be assisted with. She made an extra effort and went beyond, with the sense of urgency during this pandemic and assisted with the travel requirements after understanding the nature of the situation. I have banned the Market Mall location but had to pick up something only they sold. Usually the beauty department is so abrupt and rude but I got help from a sales person in beauty by the name of 'Amada' and she is so wonderful that I will seek her help only. I shop and spend so much in beauty with a family full of girls. I will actually phone and make sure she is there because I live so far away. She is so knowledgeable and so polite and really knows her beauty products. She looks so beautiful and looks like she loves her job. Thank you Amada for your service.

I have been getting a prescription filled at this location for two years. Following procedure I called shoppers who then called my doctor who authorized my meds. I did this a few days in advance so I wouldn’t have to wait while the prescription was filled. When I arrived at shoppers I was told the meds where not ready as they did not know if I wanted them. I went for a walk while the prescription was being filled when I returned I was told there was an issue with blue cross and I should take a seat. This surprised me as I had been getting the same prescription filled at this location on a regular basis for two years. These are blood pressure pills. Absurd situation.

WHAT? I called the Shoppers Drugs at Market Mall. Twice. Guess what I got. "This person is not taking calls right now. Please try again later"!

Came in to go to the post office. Counted 6 staff not wearing masks working in the aisles or walking to/from their back room. I understand that some may have a legitimate exemption, but I struggle to believe 3/4 the staff on shift are legitimately exempted.

Also the front of the store has an unpleasant moist odour to it.

At least the lady working the post office was very polite.

Went there for the first time and won't return to this location. A white lady in very short black hair (beauty/ makeup section) was not very welcoming, didn't have the answer to what I asked, told me she would get back to me and never did. Instead she was busy standing at some counter doing nothing. If you don't have the will to help customers, why bother coming to work!

Yesterday went to this location to use the post office. The store was very busy with a long line for the post office. The reason for the 1 star is both women working at the front tills were not wearing masks. They had clear rigid plastic mouth shields instead. I would expect more from a pharmacy providing essential services during a pandemic. Will not return.

SDM Canada Post Kiosk deserves a "minus score". The worse and incompetent postal service ever! Oct 14th 2021 visit to buy two stamps for reg. -mail took 50 minutes? I was late for work b/c of that. U see signs that it was a computer software issue = excuses & SDM manager avoid phone calls with answering service only (coward) ?

I have had two instances dealing with calling this pharmacy asking questions related to COVID vaccinations and prescription refills, and was treated curtly and rudely both times by a male voice on the phone. Both times I was unable to fully communicate or ask follow up questions before him quickly ending the conversation leaving me feeling frustrated and still confused. Not sure if it was the same person, but it was a male both times, with a slight accent. Absolutely horrible service, especially considering asking questions about prescriptions. Honestly should be reprimanded and taught to speak to customers and properly address health concerns.

Female staff members are always very lovely and able to answer any questions or solve any issues.

I had a really great experience at this pharmacy, Daniel the pharmacist was very professional and helpful with my medication even though I’m not their patient. Highly recommended, I will definitely go back here.

This pharmacy is one of the slowest ever. Dropping off prescriptions to pick up the next day will still leave you waiting 30 - 60 minutes.

They have issues understanding doctors prescriptions and will argue with you and your doctor on dosage and end up filling 2x necessary amount when you don't have insurance. Also refused to fill updated prescriptions because they figured I had too much though doctor ordered a dosage increase.

Incredibly rude staff who yell at you when they forget your request.

If you have any other choice, go elsewhere.

Convenient location within Market Mall. You can get here either by car or by public transit (bus). Open space, lots of light, usually no lineups. Polite and professional employees.

Rude pharmacy staff, especially the pharmacist assistant. Waited for some time and was barked at due to their slow service and lack of communication. But the pharmacist assistant was so patient and kind to another customer when answering his questions. Pharmacist administering the dose did not say a single word before or after shot. Please teach your staff professionalism for ALL customers, and not just certain demographics. 0 stars

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Purchased 6 Dior Products at Market Mall and wanted to return them. Reason, I changed my mind. The consumer has the right to change their mind and there is nothing in your return policy stating how many times you can do this. These products were NOT opened. I wanted to return them today, which was well within the 30 day return policy, but was told I would have to come back when the manager was in and was told that would be tomorrow. What a bunch of BS. What poor customer service. No wonder your ratings are so horrible. Those 2 ladies at the store today around 12: 00, you know who you are. You were rude and argumentive, 2 things you should not do with customers. You evidently don't appreciate your job nor do you deserve them. There are plenty of people who could replace you tomorrow and do a whole lot better at customer satisfaction. The cosmetic staff are nicey nicey when you purchase high end cosmetics but then treat you like a criminal when you want your money back. What's the issue Shoppers, you are able to restock the products and resell them. These 2 sales clerks even refused to refund the one product that was purchased online when in fact the receipt says you can return it to any Shoppers store. On a positive note the Millrise Shoppers took all the products back, no questions asked and reimbursed me fully. I guess I know where to shop from now on. Thank you Peggy at Millrise for valuing your customers.

I had a pleasant shopping experience here. The store is very clean, and fully stocked. I came in for a few items, and found everything I was looking for. The cashiers at the front were kind and courteous, especially the young redhead girl with the ponytail. I did not catch her name, but she did make a good impression.

I visited Canada Post office within shoppers and found a person without face mask in the que in front of me. The guy stayed inside for almost half an hour during which 3 associates and security person passed by him but doesn't bother to ask him. The guy dealt with the canada post employees who also didn't ask him.
I finally complained to the cashier who said he will check with the associates.

Today I stopped in looking for something specific. I talked to Tanya in the beauty department, explained my skin care routine, what products I'm using, what my goals are, what research I'm doing, etc, and she was SO much help! She listened to me, gave suggestions, and found me what I needed without trying to sell me the most expensive product in the store. I'm sure these ladies work on commission, but Tanya found me what was best for me, not what was best for her. Please give this woman a raise or a bonus or something, because she totally deserves it! I will absolutely be back to see Tanya for the next step in my new skin care routine!

I would give no stars if i could. Walked in to buy a few items for a client's office including paper towels. It stated a limit of 4, so I took 4. Then while checking out, I was told it had a limit of 2 and that it could not be 4. Went back and showed the associate that it stated 4. She decided to change it to 2 at that moment. Told her I had taken 4 based on what was put up by the store and if she wanted to change it, it should be from the next customer. She said no and I could leave. Well, there's many other stores asides Shoppers so last time I will be here. Learn to keep to your words!

Stopped to buy a few things, listerine mouthwash being one of them, found a “value pack” on sale for 5.49$ regular price 8.99$ when I rang it in, it came up as 10.99$ (Literally double the marketed price) ; naturally I asked the very nice elder lady at the front for a price check, and a younger fella came to check it. Said it was in the wrong spot (not my problem) & they couldn’t do anything about it. When I asked if they could override the price they said they couldn’t do something like that & that a manager had to do that. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn’t one there but a supervisor was. When she came out, she wasn’t very helpful either, said the item was put in the wrong spot. This is not my problem, just because someone is unable to put something in the correct spot, or remove the incorrect pricing doesn't mean I should have to pay double the marketed price. I needed it, so I still bought it. My point here is that the price should’ve reflected the marketing. You can see from the photo (trying to post, might have to add later) that it is very clearly marked as 5.49$!

Went in to obtain a prescription for my mother. Was told 30’ for the prescription but when I came back 30’ later, was told by the blonde “pharmacist” that it would be Monday before it was ready. Same person that told me it would be 30’.
Asked the same person for help in selecting a blood sugar test kit. She asked what I usually bought. I told her that this was the first one I had purchased and she told me to go look at what they had and once I picked one, she would talk to me.
Took my prescription back and will be taking my business elsewhere to avoid her and her lousy attitude.

I get my prescriptions filled at this location because it's convenient for me but the older lady (possibly the head pharmacist) in the pharmacy has terrible customer service skills! She is always unpleasant to deal with and her tone is extremely rude! Being pleasant never hurts anybody! Thank God I don't see her to often!

I went for COVID-19 travelling test. I had problem getting my lab requisition report. The associate, Dr. Tamer, was so kind and helpful. He donated his time to solve my problem. I really appreciate his help.

There's a cashier named Alicia or Ayesha.she was so rude! I asked a question and she didn't even answer properly and when I asked again she was so rude and unhelpful.

This location provides the worst customer service ever. Staff is extremely very rude and passive aggressive. My mother went to return some make up but the associate wouldn't accept the return because the purchase was done at a different store. My mother had previously checked with them prior to her visit and she was told she can return items to any location. Long story short, the items were returned with the help of a manager but that lady was the worst

I have been coming to this shoppers for a while and the cashier named Diana is just horrible. Everytime I come in there it seems like she would rather be anywhere else. I use self checkout if I see her and save myself from her bad attitude.

Went to get my prescription, the pharmacist was extremely helpful in answering my questions and gave me tips on how to take my meds effectively.

I need to give kudos to the owner of the Pharmacy as well as his employee Hardik. This Pharmacy has changed hands numerous times and this new owner gets it. He has great bedside manners and is patient with his customers. Hardik. I cannot say how nice of a person he is. He listens, he understands and he's patient. I always try to deal with him when I order and pick up my mom's medication refills. I hope you are both here at this location for a long time.

Extremely upset with the customer service. I asked for help multiple times and was given a general direction to locate my product.when I explained that another lady already gave me those directions and That could use some extra assistance, the girl replied well if you didn’t find it then we don’t have it. I already get anxious having to ask for help when I can’t do something on my own. I felt totally helpless when know one would just come and show me where it was or at least help me look for it. I was looking for so long that I eventually felt like a pain and felt that I had to buy at least something before I left.

I work retail as well and I get it can be hard, sometimes we are doing other things, or we don’t always remember where things are, or we even have a bad day.but to not even help the customer look is concerning. You’ve been hired to do a job, I would get in so much trouble at my job if I had customer service skills like some of the employees at this location.

Great service! The girls at cash are working so hard at keeping things clean! Wiping down all counters and pin pads after every transaction! Love this store! Oh and the happy attitudes are so appreciated these days! One of the evening girls never stops smiling and chatting this is my fav shoppers.

Abraham is utterly useless in the pharmacy. Will never come again to this location again. I asked for suggestions as I’ve not slept proper in 10 days due to nagging cough throughout the night. He said go to dr and get a puffer. Great advice Abraham. He could not even be bothered to walk around the counter and suggest a product on the shelf or ask what have tried.

I find the ladies in the Beauty Boutique at this location to be very helpful and friendly. I will call up to make sure they have something hard to find in stock and they will go and check and then hold it for me for when I can go in. Very good customer service!

I bought $160 worth of stuff from this location on the weekend. A philips hair clipper was one of them. I opened it and the blade was dirty! I went in to return it and I was told I have to contact philips!
The manager was not there to address my issues regarding this problem and the points I did not get although I was told by the person who sold me the stuff that I will get the points! And they kept telling me come back tomorrow as if I have nothing else to do.
Your time and business has no value there. Do not go there!

Was followed around the store by a man asking me fo get a PC credit card. I literally had to scream at him to stop following me. He even stood inappropriately close while I collected prescription.

Got my HEP A vaccine back here in March. They just called today to remind me of the booster shot, and called and told them that I'm getting it done at a different pharmacy. Because the main pharmacist there is the rudest most unpleasant lady I have ever dealt with.

When you can't give ZEROOO. This review mainly for A guy there called "Alex Joseph". When you get a good offer from them they feel like you are taking money from their pocket. A guy there called "Alex Joseph" was very jealous at me when I get a good buy. His face turns RED and gets very angry, then he keeps the stuff I wanna buy and goes to a secret room and tries to call X and Y, gathering his team, and making every effort not to let me get it. That is more than strange. Every time he comes up with a more rude and stupid idea to annoy me. I went to buy a Tablet in a 20X day, the tablet was already on sale, I decided to buy more than one, he told me explicitly "I will make every effort to let you get ONLY ONE". I went to buy PS4 in another 20X day, he took the PS4 from the cashier and went to the room for about 5 minuets and then he decided to make it FINAL SALE. My son was excited to have his PS4 so I bought it. VERY ANNOYING

We just want it to have some pictures taken (not a big deal) and the cashier didn't help us because "she was alone on the floor", and the manager didn't know how to take the photos (really? BS). This is stupid is their job to know how to do it, if they don't know they shouldn't offer the service. Not coming back to these location.

Compared to other locations, this one is my go-to. Simply because I never get harassed around the boutique. Also because when asking for assistance, my needs are heard and genuine guidance is provided. I am not talked into purchasing the most expensive product because it is supposedly the best for my skin when in fact, it is not! Tanya (Market Mall) has been the particular sales assistant who has changed my opinion on my shopping experience.

Awesome experience from the pharmacy team! Was needing to help out a new roommate with diabetes and had no idea what I really needed. Deepika went above and beyond to make sure I had the right tips, explained how to set it up even and made sure that helping my friend didn’t break the bank. Made a stressful situation a lot easier and was in and out super quickly.

The usual, but the cashier lines tend to get very long. This seems to have lessened a bit due to the new self checkouts, but when this location is busy, its busy.the cashiers seem to panic when its busy and go very slow leading to very VERY long lines at checkout
