Same complaint as most here, 4 pharmacy assistants only one helping a million people waiting in line

Seems like they like to make u wait lol. The pharmacy team doesnt know how to talk to people. They are impatient with people and their issues. Probably better to go to a smaller pharmacy chain. Also my doctor even says they are hard to deal with! I’ve had the same experience as a lot of these frustrated reviewers! No wonder there’s so many 1 star reviews of this place. The workers try to make everyone else the problem. It’s ridiculous. They do not care about profile privacy either. Very unprofessional!

This was such an uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing experience (for you as a business).

You had no cashiers available so I was forced into being harassed by your credit card rep who would not tell me if there was a self checkout or any cashiers who could help me in a rush.

I will specifically avoid this location in the future and frankly all shoppers deugmarts if they give me a similar experience.

Whatever this young woman is paid is not enough to cover the harassment she will experience when speaking to less polite humans than myself.

Figure it out.

Terrible service at the pharmacy! They send sms and then make you wait because they didn't do their work on time!

This Pharmacy I had a good experienced they call me if my pills is due for refill and very nice Pharmacist to talk to, if I need to ask questions over the phone she answer all the question I need to know in a polite manner. So far no bad experience at all in this location. You guys are very helpful.

They have very rude and ignorant attitude towards customers especially that fake lashed dark haired short woman and a manager with black hair. They are very mean and have no manners at all.

I only put one star here just to submit my review about their awful service.

Beauty Boutique customer service was horrendous. Most terrible/worst customer service I've had in the past 12 years since moving to Edmonton. Staff so extremely rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this location, just go to shoppers Ellerslie on 111st instead of this location. If I could give it zero stars, I would have done it.

Went to pick it up few hours after doctor faxed prescriptions. However, the staff told that it is not ready yet. It is inefficiency.

The new lady with black long hair and brown skin she is Filipino I think she is rude and unfriendly

Shoppers on a general is a pricey pharmacy but I prefer this pharmacy as the services I've always gotten is top-notch. The pharmacy owner, Jeff, is an awesome guy. Jeff helped me so much when I was pregnant in 2019 after my doctor had accidentally prescribed 2 medication that would act against each other and potentially kill me but Jeff caught it and fixed the whole situation. He also gave me a continuous discount on my daughter's medication until I returned to work for 1 yr. He's is always a pleasure for me to speak with him whenever I catch him on duty. His staffs especially Marie, is also an exceptional to deal with. They answer calls whenever I call in for questions regarding my now 2 children's medications. I am sorry there are so many negative reviews on this location but I have always had a super fantastic experience dealing with the Pharmacy area.

Customers also need to be patient when you come here as it can be busy and even though there are staff behind the desk, they are constantly working filling dropped off orders, taking phone calls and responding to fax ins. So far the best shoppers I have been to in my 13th years being in Edmonton.

Thank you Jeff and pharmacy staff, you guys do amazing job for me and my family.

If you need and refill your medicine, dont use this pharmacy, waiting 45mins only for one medicine. And you have to pay extra even you have two insurance for amoxicillin? I paid $12.

When I was shopping in the cosmetics department in the evening time, why are your employees making TikTok videos while on the job? Instead of helping customers out.
Make ur TikTok videos on your own time at least acknowledge your customers when we are there needing help!?

Went to get schedule 2 drug here assistant has no clue what that means.she asked for prescription, i asked kindly to check again and this never needs any prescriptio.she just said its out of stock to get rid of me.i will always go to superstore but it was closed on sunday evening.also asked me how to spell name of that drug

Completely bad service. Not friendly rude woman-pharmacist with black hair completely ignored me when I asked for advice for choosing a cough syrop.

The pharmacy section is too slow. I always end up waiting for more than 30 minutes to be seen. It's always very busy and there's not a lot of sitting available. There's usually only one pharmacist and seeing how busy this location is, they should have more pharmacists.

The staff at this post office are very friendly and most helpful. The manager Anish is always very welcoming and gives the best customer service.

Had to wait over an hour to get a refill prescription. Zero communication as to why the long wait. Only for the front desk person to say she told me it would take 50minutes not 15min. Who wants to wait 50min to refill a prescription? Totally unnerving experience. Poor system. Woeful service.

No self billing, waited 10-15 min in line, one cashier working, why mostly other shopper have self billing but not here ……

The worst pharmacist in this location. I came in today, January 3rd, at 5: 50 pm. I do understand this unprecedented COVID-19 globally, but please, if you don't have enough pills to offer, kindly inform the patient right away rather than having me pick it up and telling me that I need to come back tomorrow for the complete medication. They'd never apologized, and staff would like to argue with you. That woman who acts like a Manager was elevating her voice because she said it was my first time, and I should have told them that I needed to inform them that I required a text message for my Rx? Isn't that their job to ask, especially if it was my first visit there? That is how you keep the business rolling.
I wonder if how they treat all their clients there? If you do have the option to message your clients instantly or to deliver to your home, then please do so if you can't provide prescriptions. I drive down with this -25 degrees outside. I also have some other essential agendas to be done.

Another thing, three staff were working at this location, but none of them were willing to help you out even I was standing for about 10 mins.

I work in the clinical industry; therefore, customer service is necessary.

Went twice to send mails and purchase money oders for families at this location, the nice guy named Anish helped me a lot. Thank you.

Rahim Kassam (Pharmacist) was fantastic! He was very kind, personable and accomodating! My son has anxiety over getting needles and felt faint after his vaccine. Rahim provided a mat for him to lay down on until he felt better. It was a positive experience!

I went to pickup some prescription medication, today September 6th 2 pm.
The store was not busy at all, no one was at the pharmacy counter.
I want it to pickup also a nasal spray and I asked for a little help. The fellow at the counter was one East Indian fellow. I asked for nasal spray made by Vics, I saw recently in the TV, also popular brand. The counter person was rude, not willing to help, just told me that look up in the aisles. I asked: do you know what am I talking about? His answer was: I don't and walked away. I was wondering if he doesn't know this, how can I aspect to know anything. Its time to find some place where they know and care!

Worst customer service ever and the store manager Taylor Shappka needs customer service training, to be disciplined or fired especially after reading other reviews and their experience with her. The post office worker gave me one package, I went to my car and realized I had another one and when I went back in they wouldn’t give it to me, said it wasn’t here even though tracking from Canada post says it is. I went back in at 7PM which is their closing time and they didn’t care that I was in there before closing when I got my first package. The store manager came, said to pretend the worker wasn’t there and talked down to me as a customer/was argumentative by asking what I didn’t understand and walked away mumbling stuff under her breath. I asked for her card to make a complaint and she bluntly said no and that she’s not dealing with a customer like me even though she was the one making a scene. Ridiculous. I didn’t have a choice to come to this shoppers because of an online order but will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AS LONG AS TAYLOR WORKS HERE.

Anish in the post office really went out of his way to help me. I didnt have a printer so he printed off the return label for me. I am very happy!

Longtime customer and have been satisfied with the service in the pharmacy. But recently they have lost my prescription which very frustrating. I specifically left my prescription so i wouldnt lose it. But here we are‍️they are also blaming me and make it sound like i am lying. Will be bringing my business elsewhere

I just witnessed a woman trying to pick up her package this evening. She only had a temporary government ID as she said she just moved but offered multiple other options of identification. She asked for the manager and the manager kicked her our for swearing once out of frustration. I dont condone people harassing staff but the woman was not being rude as much as she was just upset with the situation. The manager was very aggressive, saying she was permanently banned from the shop for this. This is extremely ridiculous, the manager was very rude to the individual, towering over her, followed her closely out of the store instead of trying to be helpful. If I was the owner I would remove the tall blonde manager as she is very unprofessional and definitely abused her power. I personally am going to drive a bit further to the next shoppers to avoid that manager, as I dont want to support a location that hires managers that treat customers so poorly.

Drop off a prescription for pain and antibiotic. She said it will be ready it 25 min, I said I will come back later like 1 hour to pick it up. Came back after an hour and 20 min but still the medicine is not ready.my husband was in so much pain by already as the freezing worn off from his wounds. People are so direspectful, shame on you not even sorry about what happened. One lady even said to the other that just go on of what she's doing and don't mind me. What kind of service is this. I am buying medicine not just a food or something.

I would of give them 0 star if I can.they make me miss my flight. First they Fxxk up the time of my covid test, and then they Fxxk up my name. I will never use their service or make any purchase from them again, very incompetent. Beware!

Tried booking a Covid-19 vaccine since I have severe asthma. Pharmacist straight up called me a liar and refused to help me out.

I've gone to this location twice in the past two weeks to fill out a pro line sports select.

They never have the forms available and they don't seem to care about customer service!

Slow/lying pharmacy. Said it would be 45 minutes after dropping off prescription. Came back an hour later and wasn't ready. Said 20 more minutes. Came back in 30, still isn't ready.

That's the only interaction I've had so far, but so far not great. Still waiting and it's almost been 2 hours. Need medication as I was supposed to take it earlier today

Please don't order any medicine from here. They made me to pay extra for the pills. They will cheat you. I never ever go back.

I was on the phone with one of the pharmacists to cancel my COVID-19 testing appointment. The lady said in a rude tone that I cancelled twice already and it's not okay. I told her this was my first time canceling it and she got the information wrong. I did not appreciate how short she was with me.

Also, a week ago I went into the pharmacy to ask questions regarding the testing. I was the first one in the line-up for consultation. I literally stood there for 10 minutes while the pharmacists who were available talking and laughing at each other's jokes. I had to take an initiative to ask for assistance. This was very unprofessional and I was very disappointed in their conduct.

I strongly recommend people to go to the Shoppers in the Ellerslie Corner.

Mortified to find customers not wearing masks at the pharmacy, and not respecting the social distancing rules.

These bylaws are not being enforced at all by the store management. I would have hoped to see an area managed by health care professionals uphold standards better than this.

Pharmacists and team are generally rude and unprofessional. I consistently receive bad service here.

For example, you could be the only person waiting in line for a while without being acknowledged at all despite several staff appearing to be available.

The pharmacy assistant didn’t even bother to ask whether I’ve taken a particular drug or gone over the details with me. She rather just shoved the bag across the counter and sent me along my way.

Little things like this make a difference.

Advice to management, take a lesson from the shoppers down the street on Ellerslie.

Worst customer service ever! Hands down the rudest store owner and worst shoppers I've ever been to!

Extremely friendly and experienced staff and one of the few in the area that's open late. This is the best pharmacy I have used.

Went in there today and found expired face masks and they have terrible communicators in the post office. Also, they kept on cutting off my mom’s words which were very rude. Ended up going to Sobeys post office, but they were different. Sobeys staff has good communication skills, and very helpful. Don’t even want to give one star for this location shoppers drug mart.

I have been going to this location since it has opened. Staff is friendly and remembers me when I stop in whether it is the beauty boutique, cashiers, or pharmacy. Pharmacist Jeff is the most friendly and accommodating. He understands my medical needs and takes great care of me. He is always there to answer any of my questions or concerns.

Went in there today but the guy working at the post office refused to help me. I just wanted to know how much my milking will cost but he kept saying he’s on break he can’t help. If you don’t wanna work just stay home. He asked me to come back after his break. It will take only one min to answer my question. Will never return to this location. I was treated so disrespectful

I like to go to Shoppers 2412 to ship my products. Because Anish is very helpful. He is a very nice staff and always smile to customers and he is very friendly.

Anish at the post office is wonderful. He patiently helped me figure out why a vendor was not addressing a parcel to me correctly. He went the extra mile to help me figure out the issue (which was not a problem with Canada Post)

Went into Canada Post today to get some items shipped and Anish made the experience a pleasant one, great customer service skills and will deffinetly be back to this Canada Post for my future services.:)

I visited this shoppers for my shift and the staff of this shoppers is really amazing all the staff members (Debbie, bukhtawar, deeya, palwander, karan) they all are so helpful and so cooperative loved this place

Anish and Ren was amazing at the Postal counter! Specially Anish was very knowledgeable! Highly recommend to use this location for your postal needs.

I frequent this particular Shoppers to fill my prescriptions. I've always had excellent service from the pharmacist, Rose. I'm happy that they've added a Canada Post outlet within the store too. Anish Vyas, the post office manager, is always friendly and helpful!

Amazing service. Amish Vyas was very helpful in answering my questions and helping me with shipping my items.

Friendly employees and excellent service. Great deals on loss leaders that make it worth coming in here even with Superstore across the lot.

Possibly the WORST Shoppers I have ever experienced. They are selling dairy products for deep discounts. Only issue is that they are all expired! Once confronted, staff remove the product and the label and bring in items for the shelf that have less than 5 days of use before expiration.

MAKE SURE you check expiration dates when buying from here.

Shamandeep was the slowest cachier I've ever encountered. I wouldn't be surprised if he was high while on the job. Unreal.
