Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoppers Drug Mart is my go-to spot, and recently, Amita went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect perfume. Her friendly guidance and knowledge made the selection process a breeze. The store's diverse fragrance collection combined with Amita's excellent customer service made for a fantastic shopping experience. Big shoutout to Amita for making my visit extra special!

Everytime I’m in for anything regarding prescriptions, and or amenities.

Either I’m followed, or I see other indigenous people followed around the shop. Makes my experience, and others really uncomfortable.

I highly recommend the security this location contracts out too, to take cultural training regarding First Nations people.

Customer service is usually slow in this branch. My last visit was embarrassing. Chinedu was really rude, the way he is communicating with customers is absolutely disrespectful. He made me feel so bad. After our conversation, I will never come here again.

I occasionally go to this shpppers just to play tag with the security guard everywhere i go.literally unfortunately every time i step into this shoppers am I instantly followed and watched.i specifically noticed when i was looking at hair dye for up to 10 mins deciding on a hair colour.the guy stood there for the whole time making me so uncomfortable. I’m surprised he doesn’t walk upstairs with me.from now on i’m going to a different shoppers even though it’s further.

The worst shoppers ever i live just near by is my favorite store to go grab my little need but they have one security he keeps following you from a place to another i don’t like to shop there anymore even my colleagues said the same! It’s ok he is doing his job but i never seen a security following you lol i have my optimum card and I’m a regular customer. Just left the store now and very disappointed!

The man who gave me the flu shot seemed in a big hurry and I didn't have any time to put on my coat then seemed I have to go, feels like I own him money, why it is in a big rush? !

The pharmacy staff are extremely helpful and polite. I always feel that they go out of their way to help the customer.

Bad customer service with the location on 109th st 82 Ave. The attendants are rude and do not provide solutions to your problem and only refer you to somewhere else to get that.

I find the layout in this location interesting but I somehow don't get that girly feeling when I am in the make up department

Well that didn't feel great. The shorter older lady was auditing and watching what I was putting in my bag. Thankfully she walked away after I questioned her. Otherwise she would have been literally right beside me when I punched in my card. Then tries to talk me out of using my points. Why am I told to use the self checkout then? You could have helped me.

The staff in this pharmacy are a disgrace. Rude and unprofessional, especially Kaitlyn. She constantly belittles customers. I wouldn’t recommend going to this pharmacy.

Just watched the cashier make death threats to a customer and THEN tell them she was anti vax.also the lines are long and the floors are slippery

NEVER GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION FROM HERE. The 2 stars are for the downstairs staff who are great. The pharmacists are a joke. Don't believe them when they tell you it's a 10 minute wait. IT'S NEVER - I REPEAT NEVER 10 MINUTES!

I thing this store under the stuff and waiting time is long for the cashier.and same as pharmacy.i. So if you going to go there.you know, what what are expecting, iam writing this review because I saw so many peoole getting frustrated in the store.calling customer service is not doing any good.so far is am stay withe one start.

Yelled at by cashier for asking to split purchase over 2 cards, who then threatened me when i agreed to pay with just one rather than leave without my purchase, when i asked "is that a threat" they confirmed "yes, i will remember your face"

We were forced to use the self checkout last month. This company is so greedy and they'll squeeze every penny they can from staff and customers.
Most of the time the staff is rude at any of their stores, I'm so done with this company

Rude, condescending and unwilling to help.
Check-out lady (South East Asian looking) needs to be told and re-aligned her behavior. She brushed off all the questions with rude, condescending messages to stone wall all the questions at the check out. It was classic tactic to dodge the question when she didn't know the answer or not willing to read the fine print on the flyer. From now on, I will just come to pick-up packages at CanadaPost (They are the best!). I don't want to do anything with the the store anymore, got bad experience of rude and condescending too many times. Why she bring bad attitude to this store?

They didn’t put a sign saying no return. And giving a reason as every individual shopper has their own rule. The the woman gave me her manager’s card ask me to call manager instead solving the problem herself. Because she said she was not sure of the rule and she can’t do return anyway. There’s nothing on the receipt saying I can’t do return unless when the manager is there. They are just playing the customer around.

This review is specifically for the dark-haired woman working in Beauty/Cosmetics (although all of the staff I encountered were pleasant!). I was just in today to pick up a few things, and she was so friendly, knowledgeable about the products, and enthusiastic about new brands coming into the store. She also made me feel good about my own makeup, which I needed on a blah day, haha. These days, working retail is even harder than ever, so I appreciated her positive and helpful attitude. I feel bad that I didn't catch her name, but just wanted to leave a good review.:)

I come here all the time as it is close to where I live. Friendly staff; knowledgeable about their inventory. Pharmacists are the best around; will take time to sit down with you and explain your medications. Store is very consciously working within COVID restraints. I love their sales. Cashiers are friendly and know what they're doing. They sell bus passes here.

Was harassed for not wearing a mask. Clearly by now everyone is very aware about the masks and if someone isn't wearing one its for a reason

Most disgusting and passive aggressive dark skinned salesman. Felt like puking after talking to him. Involves you and wastes your time in a self created game of verbal put downs.

I found the pharmacy at this location to be rather judgmental and accusatory.
You are low educated pharmacists, not psychiatrists. The bachelor degrees at this pharmacy will judge you for the prescription you pick up. If you want humane treatment go somewhere else.
These pharmacists are unconscious and failing to adapt to the customers needs unless suitable to them. Very disagreeable.

Fantastic pharmacy that has caught errors/incompatibilities in my prescriptions more than once.

Today I went for a travel consultation, my pharmacist Dapheni was amazing. Thoroughly educated me on all my travel shots, bug bite prevention, areas to avoid for disease prevention etc. Better still she was so personable and friendly. I would describe the service I recieved as above and beyond.

I completely trust this location with my medical care.

Pretty upset that Loblaws, Shoppers parent company decided to take away all 24hr locations. It’s the only reason I liked visiting this location as it was convenient for late night trips or emergencies.

Very PATHETIC experience at shoppers on 27/02/2019. I have spent thousands of dollars for many years at shoppers for cosmetics which a lot of the products were not effective at all. Tonight I went to the store I asked the cosmetician (probably around age mid 30, dark black hair, short) for dark spot products she recommended NIA 14, Neostrata and some other brands which was $70 each products. I told her that I have used many products that didn't work for me can I get a sample without even let me finish she snatched the product from my hand and without even checking she said she doesn't have the any samples.when my friend got the samples not too long ago from that same location. If I spent hundreds of dollars in shoppers each month, how pathetic the shopper employees are that they don't want to give you 0.50 cents worth of samples. I am looking forward to talk to headquarter and take some actions.

I still don’t understand why they put hair product in the entrance of the store. But put all other daily use stuffs on the 2nd floor. Also there is no people to help you in the 2nd floor. Anyway it’s a bad design but to sum up the place is great.

The "ENTIRE" staff team at this Shoppers Drug Mart are absolutely amazing! The Pharmacists, the Post Office Workers, the Beauty Consultants, and the Cashiers, are all so extremely Knowledgeable, Professional, and Helpful. As well as being very kind, caring and patient people. It is always a pleasure picking up my prescriptions, shopping or mailing a package at this location.

Dorian Bialis, Emily. Eddy. Sonny. Nick & anyone I forgot to mention are the GREATEST staff anyone could ask for. They do everything but roll out the red carpet for you. Wether it's filling a prescription, getting advise or just someone to chat with they make the time for you. Would never change pharmacies. I moved to Sherwood Park & it's well worth the drive. I give them 10/10+
