Dislike the fact that they steer you toward the self checkout.
I would rather deal with a living, breathing person.
This is a Corporate thing because other SDMs are doing the same.
Sorry, but this makes it easier for me to shop elsewhere.

Terrible customer service and the pharmacist could care less about helping you with your concerns.
Plus they're suppose to open at 9am but I sat outside until 10am before they opened.then they tried to tell me they've been open since 9am.

I never write reviews. This has to be the most mismanaged pharmacy I have ever been to. I travel for work a lot and have to use them to transfer prescriptions, they lose them all the time fill the wrong ones constantly ask for refills of the wrong ones. This place is a joke. I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

Funny watching employees pretending to be busy scanning whatever and avoiding customers who prefer not using self checkout i used to buy lottery tickets there but I'll shop elsewhere

I highly recommend this drugstore. Pharmacists are very good. I recently moved my prescriptions to this pharmacy, Best service ever, Aliaa is so good at what she does! She is always there to help me out with my medications and always takes the time to talk to me. Thank you.

I'm trying to comprehend the treatment I get each time I go to this shoppers and unfortunately it's where I get my meds also. Definitely time to change both things. So for 2yrs now I've been going here and I'm telling you there has not been 1 time that I've shopped there that I've not been followed and watched and even had codes called when looking around electronics even getting pop and water has been a issue. Now the crazy thing is I don't steal. It's to the point that I dont want to get my meds there anymore are even.step foot in there cause why shop somewhere if you can't enjoy your shopping experience I have spent so much at this store but I guess that don't matter cause im always followed and now at check out the cashier even leaves her customers to come watch over me at self check out one customer even asked what are you doing your in the middle of ringing me up. There are so many more Incidents but id' be here all day and writing them. Now that ive typed this out it is actually pretty traumatizing thinking about all the times I've been centered out and belittled at this store by the employees.i definitely will be switching pharmacy and not shopping there anymore even though i live on the same block as the store there is plenty of other pharmacies and drugstores where I've shopped before and have never experinced this type of treatment I guess lastnight experience push me to look up the reviews and write this review it was the wakeup call I needed to remind myself no one has the right to make another person this uncomfortable when shopping

Pharmacists at this location always go above and beyond! Love going there. Store has good selection of products

Wow, couldn't find anyone to help when I actually needed it but once the makeup lady noticed me, she followed me around the entire time. I came in to replace my mascara I lost, otherwise I would of just left. In my peripheral vision I could see her move every time I would, change an aisle and she would come "adjust" a something right where I was, not stocking anything just lurking. I wanted to get a few things but I was about to yell at this woman to leave me alone. I made no indication I was stealing, I didn't even have a bag or pockets for Christ's sake. Do better, I'll just go to Rexall next time.

Great experience! Pharmacist went the extra mile to help me out with figuring out my prescription. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY. THANK YOU

Pharmacy is terrible. My mom was prescribed antidepressants for the FIRST time and they failed to explain to her the importance of taking the medications on time as well as all the serious sometimes fatal side effects. This is literally the bare minimum. When I called to explain the situation and ask questions, the pharmacy team was abrasive and continued to cut me off. If I could give less than 1 I would and i see in the reviews it wouldn’t be the first time…

Your phone keeps hanging up on me. This has happened several times in the past year.

If no stars was an option I'd choose that. Do not use the pharmacy here. They're incompetent at getting refills. Faxing the wrong number repeatedly after being told the correct fax number multiple times. Will only refill one prescription no matter how many that Dr prescribed so you end up with multiple refills on one medication and none of the rest. Then the pharmacist implys abusing the medication their incompetence refused to fill. After being told repeatedly this medication had been requested and me halving my dose so I wouldn't run out, I ran out and experienced horrible withdrawal symptoms. If you ever read this you cold hearted slanderous witch, I have a disease that will kill me and me sleeping at night is more important to my Dr than your BS accusations. Go to ****.

I highly recommend avoiding this location for any pharmaceutical needs. I have never been disrespected and treated less than an human being by an employee in my entire life. I asked the pharmacist Jayneta to not yell an pesons personal information over the counter. Out of embarrassment and frustration, I did not want to pay for anything else beside my medication. Jayneta then accuses me for opening a box that I brought to the counter, which was already open, and proceeds to embarrass me by asking her colleague, in front of other customers if the box was open. Jayneta than tosses my medication at my hands without checking me out and walks away, while I asked for her name. The floor manager that night was very helpful! I forgot your name, sorry!

I do Not recommend this Shoppers. Always issues and problems. They Don’t have enough Staff to help the customers, You order medication in Advance and Still Not ready. I’m switching to another even though not close to my house!

Been very loyal customer to this store but since Amanda left very bad service half time have make more one trip going switch to safeway

Very terrible customer service. They refuse to attend to blacks. Was clearly there before a bunch of people and even told them how long I was there for but they never listened. They just ignored me. Don’t go there if it’s important or you’re in a hurry

I called this location today at 5pm and asked what time their pharmacy is open until and they told me 10pm and I asked the person on the phone “and is that including for covid vaccines? ” And she had told me yes and that there is only one person doing them after 5 so it will just be more of a wait time. I showed up at around 6: 15 and left work early to go and the people at the pharmacy told me that I will have to come back tomorrow because they’re not doing any vaccines after 5pm. I explained to them that I had specifically called to see if it was worth leaving work to go there and get it and I was told that information and I showed them the proof of the call on my phone at 5pm. If I wouldn’t have been told that information over the phone and told the proper information I would not have left work. The workers at the pharmacy should know the proper information and should know the hours of their vaccines and not give the wrong information to customers over the phone.

The lady manager did not accept my shoppers gift card which was expired less than a month ago although I explained I did not go out because of Covid19. Then I went to Jasper 117 branch and they accepted it.

Stopped briefly to purchase mild analgesic for home use. Item was well stocked on shelf. Cashier greeted pleasantly, made some small talk and asked if we had found everything we wete looking for. Payment was processed efficiently and we were warmly thanked for our business. We also collected our optimum points which the cashier requested our card. Overall, a successful shopping trip.

The lady manager at the shoppers drug Mart was not very helpful and very rude so I decided to take my business to the shoppers drug Mart at Westmont and they were really nice to me will not shop there again

Manager of the store is absolutely terrible in customer service i really do not know how they can hire this person in that position, i contacted the owner and shoppers head off about this matter, shop else were not worth the trouble.

Milk cooler broke down, sign said to ask for assistance in retrieving milk stored in the back. Staff then told me they had no milk?

I didn't notice the name of the cosmetician at the time, but it was stony plain and 150 st, on September 21st, purchased $170 at her cash around 8: 35 pm. Before that she helped me with almost all of my purchases and was very nice and made good suggestions, knew the products and listened to me and found exactly what I was looking for even after a couple of other suggestions. Best customer service I have had in a long time. I work in the service industry so I know. Please give kudos to that employee for me and give that girl a raise.lol

Darlene is probably the rudest person to ever work at a shoppers drug mart. How she’s not been let go is beyond me

Staff in the pharmacy are very professional and friendly to customers. Would definitely recommend to people needing a prescription.

Don't purchase paid credit cards from this location. I got scammed out of a 200$ visa about a month ago. I tried to go back and get a refund but they basically said it was my fault. Buyer beware.

If you've been to a Shoppers Drug Mart before you sort of know what to expect here. It's better than your average location, though.

The pharmacy staff are probably the highlight, as they're helpful and friendly and quick to fill prescriptions. Most of the front-line cashiers are helpful as well.

The Canada Post counter is always busy. It's nice that it's here as it's the only location in the nearby area, but there is always a wait and of course you always get stuck behind someone mailing 30 packages who didn't attach prepaid shipping labels.
