The steam room is the best among other aquatic centers: the steam is so thick that you can barely see anything Water in the pool is clear so you can see the end of the lane when standing at its beginning.
Pool is much better now that the locker rooms had a bit of renovations. Hot Shower, fabulous! Nice to have lane swim 12-4, but it should be every day, not just Tuesday & Thursdays.
The pool has the ac running? What kinda of pool has air conditioning? It should be warm and humid like every other pool ever. Its too dam cold i tell ya. My kid was actually happy to leave thats why im leaving two stars instead of one
Super friendly helpful staff. Well-maintained facility. Open only 4 days a week, wish it was open 7 days a week. A two-year lockdown made a lot staff of go to other fields. It has lots of timeslots for swimming lengths & family swim times. The pool water smells sweet & clean, a blueish hue gives you a sense of something tropical. Kept at a perfect temperature for swimming. The sauna is large (as to not to trigger a feeling of claustrophobia) & hot. No active snack machines, bring your own snacks.
It's what you'd expect from a City pool. It has everything you need for swimming without a high cost! Lessons have been good for our little guy and the instructors are nice. We've enrolled in classes several times now and will continue.
Love the city pools, I have the standard rev pass (52$ flat no added tax) and it is awesome. I can swim at any of their locations, and there is always open swim time a huge fan.
I came to this pool and was given very good treatment considering how afraid I am of deep water. I managed to use a floation belt and did lots of laps. I also appreciate the compliments of the staff during the swim. I will be back every week even though it is winter.
I love this pool. The staff are amazing! My daughter has been going there for years and is very comfortable with the staff. There is pretty much no turn over of staff so that tells you how great they are!
Average recreational facility in the Northwest of Calgary. Locker rooms were kind of filthy, but that is pretty much the only downside of visiting this place. Pools looked a bit old, in my opinion. I think that they should tear this place down, and make it look a little nicer.
This is the place I put my kids in for swimming lessons or to go in for a swim during their public swim hours. The staff are friendly and it doesn't get too crowded even in the busy days.
My daughter passed then failed on required skill/s required for her swimming lesson. How can she fail a skill when she already passed it on the previous class? They then pick another skill for her to fail. My daughter feels like it's more subjective rather than objective and does not want to continue. Very disappointed.
Nicely located off of 16th Ave NW; this older public swimming pool has a lap and diving pool. They also offer swim lessons for all ages with free, if limited quantity, parking. The facility shows its age in design and layout but it is mostly kept up. During weekend swim lessons change rooms are crowded so if you have the option try to visit during a less peak time.
Lovely staff always friendly and welcoming and the facilities are as to be expected from a smaller pool and are always have good hours for programs and open pool
Nice pool. Water and change rooms are clean. Would be nice if there was shallow water for the little kids, but it's a fun pool for an afternoon swim. The dive tank is usually nice and warm. Splash swim on weekends is extra cheap.
For just a pool, you can't get much better. There is a dive tank with both diving board sizes, ropes for swinging and a sauna. A hot tub is preferred and would be nice if there was a wading pool for the littles.
Watched my grandbaby do soon lessons. Teacher student ratio should be different as i watched her constantly waiting for her turn to Show the teacher the chosen asked task. Sad as these are paid lessons
Not terrible, but not that great either. Not enough parking by a long shot. Water tends to be too cold (but that seems to be an issue that plagues all the city pools).
